I like to support local business when I can. Rather than eating at a chain, decided I'll give this place a try. I ordered the stack of two waffles with strawberries and cream. & the Denver waffle. I went in with high expectations. Based on all the reviews. Yes everything tasted fresh and made from scratch. But it was just ok for me, "blaned" is the word I'm looking for. We don't have a Waffle House in California. so I'm always on the lookout for a place that serves good waffles. Maybe they just need to play with the batter a little. Ad a little more flavor to it. Wow this place is a gem and a great addition to Redlands. The waffle sandwiches were awesome. My family and I have tried 3 different kinds already and can't wait to try more. The waffle was soft, delicious and didn't fall apart. So gooood. The pastries were fresh and wonderful. The service was friendly. Coffee was so good too. I requested a unicorn cake for my daughters birthday and Krislynn took my order and to my understanding made the cake as well. She was very kind and helpful asking me every last detail I might want to change. She even fit me in with less then a weeks notice. The cake was so moist and delicious. Frosting was not fondant and was also quite delicious! The decorations were soooo beautiful besides the parts I smooshed during transportation and it bubbled a smidge cuz I had to leave it in the car which is my own doing. So good! Thrilled to have awesome gluten free options in town. We stopped in for brunch...GF waffle & GF panini were some of the best I've had - not dry and crumbly like many other gluten free items often end up. Sandwich and waffle portions are good, even with the extra charge for the GF bread/batter. I'm in such trouble. With Sugarbee within walking distance of my office, I fully expect to have cravings for breakfast and then again right around lunchtime for a waffle sandwich. I went for the Stinger, which had me stuffing as much in my face as I could. It's the kind of meal that isn't over when you're full... it's over when you've eaten the whole thing and are licking the wrapper. The Stinger is chicken and waffles in a sandwich. You get fried chicken, spicy mayo slaw, and red chili honey on a soft Belgian waffle. The waffle is soft, almost like a doughy bread, not hard like the Belgian waffles that you put syrup on at breakfast. They're also baking up cupcakes, butter cake, macaroons, etc. I brought butter cake back to the office. It was a total hit. One bite and you'll know what I'm talking about. She got the Creme Brûlée (Classic Creme brûlée & Seasonal fruit on their signature waffle $6.95) and I got the Famous Chicken Salad Sandwich (Almond Chicken salad & lettuce on a fresh croissant $6.95). Came in with my sister to have a little snack. We ordered the caprese panini, and boy it was "little" snack alright! I thought that the panini would at least be a decent size, but it was smaller than my hand. On the other hand the panini was delicious and I just wish that it was a little bigger so I could enjoy it more. They have a variety of baked goods inside a glass casing that looked delicious! We ordered the butter cake because it seemed to be the most popular. It was a little too sweet in my opinion, but my sister enjoyed it! I'm not sure what the hype is for this place. Totally overrated. Customer service was fine and of course the girl convinced me to buy a dozen cupcakes which was 30 dollars total. When she rang me up I was a bit shocked at the price but thought should be worth it based in the reviews. Well it wasn't worth it at all. Cupcakes were so old you could totally tell and tasted nasty . Basically 30 dollars down the drain. Had a very nice lunch here today, after visiting the Kissui baby & kids shop a few doors down. The food was good, and the ladies behind the counter were very friendly. Their butter cake was definitely amazing, and it's definitely worth it to try it. As a word of caution to parents with young kids, this place is not very toddler friendly. So happy I got a chance to go here and try their pretty desserts! Sugarbee is a cute little cafe that serves cookies, cookie dough, coffee, pastries, etc. They bake everything fresh every morning and make sure its aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Candace and Desy are super nice people and they put effort into making their cafe fit the bee theme! It is such a cute little place and makes you feel like you are in a tea/living room when you visit. We ended up ordering their cookie dough; one scoop in a cone and two cookie dough filled cookie sandwiches. These were almost too pretty to eat, but I managed! They were perfectly decorated and it just felt like I was having a Sprinkle party in my mouth. The cookie dough was thick and the texture was amazing! It was not too sweet and had that birthday cake flavor. The cookie dough in the cone was my favorite! And not just because it was pink, my favorite color! The cookies were sugar cookies and really went well with the cookie dough. Sugarbee really knows how to make something look pretty and taste yummy without it being too sugary and sweet. RUDE! RUDE! Hesitate to try this place because others have stated the owner is very rude but we decided to try anyway... Disappointed on my moms wedding day. I spent a great price on a cake for my moms big day. However we were disappointed by many things .. we had the cake delivered the driver was asking if we owed anymore money on the cake in front of guest. We did not owe anything on the cake it was just rude and distasteful. Granite it was very hot the day of the wedding but we had already prepared to keep the cake inside like we had discussed at the tasting. The cake was delivered and as soon as the driver left we took the cake inside until the bride and groom were to cut it. When that time came the cake crumbled. As soon as they went in to cut it the cake fell into pieces. We were serving guest scoops of cake rather then slices. Unfortunately also this affected the taste the cake itself was not moist We will not be returning and we are very disappointed with the owner how she handled it. She was very rude when confronted about these issues but she did however offer a refund for delivery charges. But it has been almost 2 weeks now and I still have not received it. Of course I followed up but she again told me she would get to it. I feel everyone has a right to know how she handled my business and you can decide whether you would like to give her a try but I will be letting my friends and family not to waste there money. read more

Thought we would give this place a try... I love to try out new places and new ideas and twist in foods. I love area but there is no parking, you have to either park across the street or on And side street around the corner from the store. I would have given it a 5 star but my waffle was burnt and I could taste the bitter pieces from the burnt areas. Also the all so popular butter cake was way too sweet! It had nice texture but it was like eating a sugar cube with condensed milk.. But every place is different on how they make butter cake... I have ordered both my wedding and nursing school graduation cake! Both were absolutely delicious! We have had so many compliments on how they both looked and tasted! We ordered a bunch of different treats for our dessert table at the wedding as well and it was a hit. We had brownies, chocolate chip cookies and a variety of macaroons. I was not impressed. I came today with my mom for lunch after hearing multiple people talk about how great this place is. We walked in and were immediately displeased by how hot it was inside. We were seriously sweating just standing in line. We ordered a caprese panini and the chicken salad sandwich. We went out to the hallway where seating is located. The entire hall way smelled like a dirty restroom. We endured the foul smell just hoping the food would be worth it. The girl who took our order seemed to be the only one working. She brought out our food with a smile. That was probably the most pleasant thing about the entire trip. I took a bite of my caprese panini to find that the bottom slice of bread was already so soggy it was almost inedible. My mom's chicken salad had the exact opposite issue. If you think the price is too much for a sandwich ($7.51) think again! You can tell the ingredients are fresh. I've given Sugarbee's a few chances over the few years that it's been open and I'm sorry to say that it hasn't lived up to its image. It's a cute place with creative decor and very nice people, but I just don't care for the baked goods. My latest attempt to give it another try was with an incredibly disappointing brownie that felt like it had been sitting in the case for days; it was somewhere between tough and rock hard with very little flavor. The cupcakes I've tried have been dry, and in my opinion overpriced. Also, I can't say whether they have changed their ingredients at all since then, but way back when they first opened I was very excited to try the peanut butter, banana and honey waffle, and very disappointed to find out that they didn't use natural peanut butter. I find it difficult to trust an artisanal shop that uses ingredients with hydrogenated oils. I don't think I'll be giving Sugarbee's yet another try. read more

They asked for information I gave them everything and out of no where they stopped returning my emails.
