Pleasantly surprised! For context, I had never sugared before, but I just moved to the LA are and I was looking for a place with great reviews that also used hard wax and not strips. I had trouble finding a place and happened to stumble across the reviews for sugared + bronzed while looking for "best waxers in my area". I was super nervous because I hadn't gotten waxed in about 7 weeks, and my biggest pet peeve is when someone waxes me and leaves hair behind. I quickly realized that I had nothing to worry about. Brie was great! She got every single hair during my Brazilian, sugared my under arms to perfection, and I liked everything so much that I even requested to squeeze in a lip sugaring service (I could taste the natural sugar as she was doing it!). As a first timer, I will say that the molding process is pretty painful in a way that I have never felt with waxing, but that's pretty much the worst part, everything is easy from there. It was also so fast! I'm used to 30-40 min waxes, this only took 20! All in all, the have gained a new customer, and I am so happy I found this location. 5/5 Sugared + bronzed! read more

I really love this place. It's super easy to schedule online and I can almost always get the ideal time if I book a few days in advance. I've had three or four different girls do my spray tan and the tan always works well for me! If you exfoliate a day before the tan and moisturize after it should last a good 5-7 days. read more

I have become addicted to the spray tans here!! I've started to do them for any occasion or travel event , even if it's just remotely special. The color is so even and natural, I receive several compliments each time I get one. It also looks great in pictures :). The girls at this location are also efficient, friendly, and quick. I can be some what modest, and never experienced someone actually giving me my spray tan. The girls here are very calm, easy-going and professional. They make it a pleasant and quick experience. It was my first time using this company and I was so pleased with their customer service! I did a DIY spray tan at home and it went horribly wrong, so I went into this location the next day and asked for their advice. They were so nice and helpful and definitely showed me some tricks to help even out and in some spots get completely rid of the tan I had done myself. I scheduled a spray tan with them two days later and It's only been about 4 hours since I got sprayed so I haven't seen the end result, but their customer service alone deserves 5 stars! read more

Not great. I purchased the new client special, $39 for 2 sprays. I wanted to try their spray tan out before I came in for a spray for a wedding, so this was a perfect deal. I booked my first spray a few weeks ago and at the same time I booked my 2nd complimentary spray for 8/31. I specially asked twice if I could receive my complimentary tan on the 31st due to the Labor Day holiday. The wedding is on Sunday so Friday the 31st would be the earliest I could get it (it's an out of town wedding). Two girls told me yes. So I purchased and then one week later I receive a text saying I cannot use my complimentary tan on the 31st due to Labor Day. I called them up and the girl said someone must have told you the wrong information and there's nothing I can do. So pretty much I wasted my time and money here. I won't be returning back because this shows how incompetent they are! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS LOCATION SO BETTER THEN SANTA MONICA LOCATION OKAY SO I WENT THIS LOCATION THE FIRST TIME awesome girl she did good job however didnt seem to cover my hands and feet well I had to re do it again and i got the blonde and she was super great at making sure she did amazing at covering every nook and cranny Im a stickler for my feet and hands getting comoletely covered she did fantastic and when ever i feel they didnt cover me completely i can alwasy come get it redone FREE cant say they do this all the time but so far im happy and pleased with their customer service super awesome and very loyal their customer This is my go to for tans and i prefer beverly hills and manhattan for my tans love their customer service! read more

This place is easy to book but super disappointed my tan came out so light. I usually get the express tan but the tanner recommended I try the new elixir shade range. First, she did not explain the new elixir color range correctly (and made it so confusing). She recommended the #2 shade and I was still pale. I would like to share my experience at Bronze. I'm always a little skeptical with 5 star businesses, specially when they accomplish such a high rating in such a short time. You always read or hear stories of people putting fake reviews or businesses buying reviews from different parts of the world. But I decided to give them a try anyways. Unfortunately I was not impress and I was very streaky. I thought...... maybe it was me and I did someyhing wrong. So I told myself let's give them one more chance and I gave them a 2nd try :( same results. I do mystic tans an to be honest, I did not see that much of a difference maybe it's my skin. My Mystic tan last me for up to 14 days compare to the airbrush 3 to 5 days. When I do Mystic tans; I can pop in and out at any time, making it convinient and stress free compare to the appointments in here. I can also choose different aromas when I do my mystics. I guess airbrush tans are not for everybody, a little too inconvinient for me. The main thing -- I didn't like. They always have excuses for their mistakes:( they are never wrong. All I can say, it was the best spray tan I've ever gotten as I've gotten spray tanned at 3 different places in the past 3 years! I opted for the level 3 spray tan (aka Théos) based on the girl's recommendation after they asked me what the occasion was. Zero regrets and hesitation to go get your next spray tan at Sugared + Bronzed! You're basically in and out of there in 20 minutes with minimal staining from the spray tan afterwards. All in all, I can definitely say that everyone was so nice and welcoming from the moment I stepped in and out of the salon. I just love this New location its so clean and all brand new. I will go the extra mile, specially for Gina! She is so thorough and incredibly precise, she wins the Star! I was going to the Santa Monica place which is also very nice but this spot is in another league just the drive to it makes all the difference if you decide to go, make sure you drive along the ocean side, and that is what makes it a treat prior to your beautiful tan you will receive. This is by far the BEST airbrush tanning salon I've ever been to. The place is super clean, relaxing and run by very kind, welcoming professionals. Alissa made me feel so comfortable!! I was PAINFULLY nervous about going bare and she did such a good job of making me forget, she was nice, funny, and kept me distracted. The process is quick and easy. BEST PART? The tan is freaking AMAZING!!! It looks golden, there isn't a hint of orange. It's even, no streaks, and hasn't faded at all in 3 days. And NO chemicals!! I'm so happy. It looks like I was tanning for 2 weeks straight in Hawaii! Love it! I went to West Hollywood and Beverly Hills afterward for a foofoo event - got so many compliments on my tan and once people found out it was airbrushed, they all took down this salon's info to go. This place is amazing!!! I have never heard of this place until a friend recommended that we go get sugared before a trip to Vegas and at first I was kind of reluctant. As soon as I walked in, I really like the simplistic enviornment and how everything is so clean. The girls at the front desk are so nice and are very attentive and provide great customer service when informing me about the services. I can't remember the name of the girl that sugared me (sounds so weird) but she made sure that I was comfortable as it was my first time experiencing this. Overall it was a good experience it helps that you pay $49 for the first sugar and get the second one for free. I love Bronzed. I used to go in to the Santa Monica location and am so happy that they opened a location in Manhattan Beach. The service is always super friendly, and they are very helpful with finding you an appointment, even when they are busy. I love that I can text or email for an appointment, and they immediately get back to me. The tans are a perfect glow - never orange. I also find that the tan lasts a long time and does not rub off once it dries. The price point is also very reasonable considering the quality of the tan and the service. I only wish they offered more reasonable packages. I'll be a loyal customer! read more
