I needed a spray tan before my cruise and I decided to try Bronzed in Manhattan Beach. I am pretty pale naturally and the girl I spoke to suggested I do a medium light airbrush tan so I would have a nice tan all weekend. I was extremely happy with the results. I have been here twice now and have had a great experience each time. I always go completely nude but never feel awkward because the staff is super friendly and easy going. Also they seem to be very meticulous about getting your tan just right! I am very very fair skinned and I've been getting a light-medium color which looks very natural on me. I waited a bit to post my review because I wanted to see how the tan faded. I am so impressed with this place. I got a deep tan with their normal "vacation " tan (I forget what they call it) and it was not at all orange. It was even, looked natural, and faded beautifully. I didn't have any patchiness or any issues with it fading too quickly. In fact, it lasted WELL over a week, probably closer to 2 weeks. I will definitely be going back. All I can say, it was the best spray tan I've ever gotten as I've gotten spray tanned at 3 different places in the past 3 years! I opted for the level 3 spray tan (aka Théos) based on the girl's recommendation after they asked me what the occasion was. Zero regrets and hesitation to go get your next spray tan at Sugared + Bronzed! You're basically in and out of there in 20 minutes with minimal staining from the spray tan afterwards. All in all, I can definitely say that everyone was so nice and welcoming from the moment I stepped in and out of the salon. I used to go to the one on montana but decided to try this location for a quick spray for the weekend. The girls are very friendly and polite and the facility is clean. The parking situation can be challenging. I wanted a little color for a sunkissed healthy glow. I tried the expressed and showered in 1 hr. Omg im tooooo dark!!!! now i have to take hot shower and rub oil on me to ease it down so i dont look dancing with the stars cheesy orange!!!! Overall good place for spray tan but i dont think its the right look for me. Too fake dated and flat! read more

This place is amazing!!! I have never heard of this place until a friend recommended that we go get sugared before a trip to Vegas and at first I was kind of reluctant. As soon as I walked in, I really like the simplistic enviornment and how everything is so clean. The girls at the front desk are so nice and are very attentive and provide great customer service when informing me about the services. I can't remember the name of the girl that sugared me (sounds so weird) but she made sure that I was comfortable as it was my first time experiencing this. Overall it was a good experience it helps that you pay $49 for the first sugar and get the second one for free. I highly recommend that you check this place out if you want to experience getting sugared. read more

Unlike most spray tanning booths and other customized tans; this tan lasts a good week before coming off, and doesn't look uneven like a Mystic booth tan. Half-off B-day Tan!!! Love this spray tan place Lisa was amazing! Got the express tan which is where u shower 2 hours after and the color develops 10 hours later. Price is good! Didn't come out orange or streaky it was perfect and natural but dark enough to notice :) I like that u can book via text message. My only complaint is that there is no parking . When my tan faded it faded gradually an not spotty. I wish it lasted longer though 3 days then it was pretty much gone. But I have to say that i was in and out of a pool and sweating lightly sweating (with exercise and it being hot in the dessert) but all in all I would go back! Have an app for Monday! Yay! read more

I love Bronzed tanning! I've been with them probably for 2 years now, and won't let anyone else spray tan me. I've had bad experiences in the past with other tanning salons so I know what a good tan looks like and their tan always comes out even, natural and fades well. I started off going to their Santa Monica location and now go here to Manhattan Beach since it's so much closer. The facility is always clean and the girls are awesome! read more

I'm completely unsatisfied with the express spray tan. The color came out uneven, even though the lady who did it for me ensured me that wouldn't happen. I followed all instructions and the color is completely uneven throughout my body. Also, it is visible that all pores are clogged with the pigment. Seems like the lady payed more attention to my forearms and put way more solution there and not enough on my legs and the rest of the body. I'm not coming back to Sugar+Bronzed and not recommending it to anyone. read more

Update: I forgot to come back and finish my original review, but the color was indeed a golden brown, not orange, and it lasted about 10 days. I did get a lot of splotchiness, but I think it was my skin exfoliating at different rates, not anything to do with the product. read more

I got the most amazing spray tan here for a bachelorette party! I've never gotten one before and I LOVE how it looks. It didn't fade very much over a week span which was awesome and a week later I used my free (1st time client) tan to be super tan before the bachelorette party. The technician (I can't believe I forgot her name!- I think it was Allison) was amazing- she did my tans on Tuesday afternoons- she makes you feel super comfortable (especially cause I was butt naked haha) and she does an amazing job! Every time I get a spray tan I am always pleased with my results, and the girls that give the tans can answer any and and all questions regarding the tan you are looking for. Okay, let's just start by saying that I NEVER EVER had even thought about getting a spray tan. After living in NYC for 4 years, you constantly say orangey-spray tanners during the height of winter. I gladly kept my skin pale those days because I felt like all the New Yorkers were living the same struggle. Upon moving to Southern California, that was a whole different ball game. EVERYONE IS SO TAN HERE! I am still working NY hours so not able to go to the beach much but found this alternative! I reluctantly went and I am so glad I did! I have been twice and they did an awesome job each time. I would definitely say get the express tan. I also recommend following the detailed "prep" instructions. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. By far, hands down way better than European Wax Center. The customer service is at a 10. All the ladies are nice and lovely, and the place itself is always clean and kept in mint condition. They keep things very sanitary and fresh so you feel extremely comfortable.
