I came to get sugared about two weeks ago and it was one of the most painful sugars I've ever gotten. I no longer live in the area, but was in town and figured I'd stop here given their availability and positive reviews. I wasn't happy with the results the esthetician left. I believe her name was Ashley. I've gotten sugared for the last three years and it took so long and was so painful. Not only did she miss several spots and didn't take care of them after I pointed them out, but the conversation she made was so rude and ignorant. I understand businesses are being affected by the pandemic, but bringing in your own politics, statuses of immigrants and borderline racist comments make for a less than pleasant experience. read more

Love this location! Right upstairs from Pressed Juicery, you can get your pressed juice then step into a tranquil spa atmosphere. Booking my appointment was quick and efficient done right online. The staff was friendly, upbeat and very knowledgeable! Hayley checked in me and I was whisked into my own room ready to get sprayed. I love how they thought of everything and have everything incase you are forgetful at times ‍. Hair Ties- check. Flip flops- check. Disposable Thong- check. Make up Removers- check. The list goes on and on. I went with the express tan level 2 (meaning you can shower after only two hours!!). Quick & easy I was sprayed and back on with my day in less than 20 minutes. We both wore masks the entire time, until it was time to do my face at the very end, which she sprayed pretty quickly and then left the room while I used the hand dryer. I went a few weeks ago for a Brazilian sugar appointment and it was so fast and painless! I usually wax about every 6 weeks and (from European Wax Center) had horrible ingrown hairs that my picking habit didn't make any better. After my first sugaring appointment, I have very few ingrown hairs and I had no weird rash afterwards like I usually get with waxing. I came here a bit gun shy for a Brazilian sugaring service as I'd had a traumatic waxing experience in the past. I also was in an aircast and towards the end of healing a broken foot. And I was leaving for my wedding in 4 days. Neeedless to say I was a stress case. But I left super happy and just came home from my 2nd appointment today. Kathryn is very friendly and good at making you feel comfortable and distracted with some nice conversation in a potentially awkward situation. The space is always very clean as well. I had an appointment at 9:40 am today. I called ahead because I was running late. I was about 10 minutes late. When I got there, they said they will take the person scheduled after my appointment time because she came first. This was fine it was my fault I was late after all. I was the only one waiting in the waiting area at this time. Another girl comes in about 15 minutes later. When the other girl was done, they took the other girl that came after me next. When I looked at the receptionist, she stated that the other girl has a 9:40 appointment. During this moment I was so annoyed that I forgot I was the one who had the 9:40 appointment that I booked through yelp. Anyway I said, the reason why the other girl was taken before me was because she came in first even though my appointment time is before hers. She then said that the girl their taking is a member so she wont have a lot of hair anyway maybe 15 minutes tops. But if the rule applies to everyone I should be next because technically if she had a 9:40 am appointment and they double booked she came in even later than I did. And it doesn't matter how much hair she has. Do you guys go by the time people walk in or people's appointment times? If you're gonna apply some kind of rule, make sure it applies to everyone. Don't play favorites. Updated to 5 star due to customer service: After I got home I emailed the company and Cj got back to me right away to explain what had happened. We agreed that I should've been warned ahead of time that I will be waiting for a second person to finish because then it wouldn't have been a frustrating situation. She verbalized that she understood my frustrations. I believe this is a good company. They just need to train their employees on handling appointments. Cj offered me complementary services under my account for this incident which is a really nice gesture but I told her that I just wanted to make sure everyone is trained well. Maybe someday I'll try sugaring just not in the near future. Thank you Cj for getting back to me so quickly. This shows how much the company really care about customer service. read more
