I'm so grateful to have found Diamond at this location! I've been sugaring for about 7 years, and I had an amazing technician I loved in Seattle. Moving to a new city meant... finding a new technician! I tried a few at this location and in particular, Diamond is amazing. She's *quick,* which is impressive because I'm a redhead (which takes longer from what I've been told). She's *thorough.* She's kind and sweet and detail oriented. She's more naturally introverted, so if you want someone who's gonna gab during your appointment, she might not be the fit for you. That said, *I'm* a gabber and she always expresses how much she enjoys me coming in and chatting while she works. If you want a quiet, soothing appointment, she's also perfect for that. Loooooots of hair left behind - not just stubble, long hairs also. I'm shaving as soon as I can because this state is embarrassing. This was my first time getting sugared, though, so maybe it's normal and improves over time. Otherwise, less painful than I expected, extremely fast, and no wait time for my appointment. Also, there was no small talk, which I appreciated (I'd rather not talk). Sugaring was something I decided to give a try due to ingrowns and hyperpigmentation left behind after shaving. The first few appointments were rough. Do not believe anyone that tells you this is a painless, or 'easier' than hard wax. It still hurts, but the results are much better with sugaring. I've had three different girls do my waxes at this location, but Alexis is by far the best and highly recommended. Her technique is amazing! If I could give this business a negative star review, I would. So, every once in a while....an exceptional esthetician / sugaring expert decides to treat herself to services...and every once in a while, it is a HUGE mistake! I decided to patronize this business as I had been curious about for some time now. It was, by far, the most absolutely, positively, hands down, worst sugaring experience I have ever had in my 31 years of having sugaring services! I am actually injured! Without getting too graphic...I am missing skin and bruised up in places one should not be missing skin or bruised up. In all of the 31 years I have been getting sugared...this has NEVER happened. In all of the 31 years I have been performing sugaring services on others....this has NEVER happened. To add insult to my non-metaphorical injury....the people at this location have been belligerent, uncaring and have basically called me a liar to my face (on the phone actually). This is a franchise/chain situation. I have tried to find corporate office contact info to no avail. I did manage to find out who the founder/ceo of this company is through LinkedIn. Unfortunately, I was not able to message her on that platform. I did private message her on Facebook...but, not surprising...I have not yet gotten a response. I also tried to leave a review on the specific location's Facebook page, but lo and behold...one can not leave any post of any kind on their page. Oh, and as if we couldn't guess...there is no messaging option either. (update : I was finally able to figure out how to leave a review on their Facebook page) Now I always try my best to give people and businesses the "benefit of the doubt"....but this company does not warrant this kindness on any level. This location shows a lack of management, a simple talking to wont fix the front desk banter, across the hall screaming, and gossiping being done. Employees show a lack of professionalism, and respect for clients time. I came in as a model for lash lift, but my time is valuable as much as any other client. I waited exactly one hour , my apt was for 2 pm, I was taken in at 3:15. In regards to the lash lift, I've had better please find photo attached. Don't feel this was necessarily the employee in trainings fault more so the instructor. Overall, a really unfortunate experience. I will not being a returning customer. I wish I could have tipped the girl in training, but waiting for more than an hour is absolutely absurd and should be taken into consideration while running a business. read more

The front door is locked, I proceeded to knock and the receptionist gets up from the desk. She's wearing scrubs and has black and green braids in her hair. She proceeds to not acknowledge my presence and walk to the back. I remained outside for 15 minutes with no one returning to the front. I called the main # twice with Saeda assisting the second time. They were very nice, but I paid for waxing to be done professionally and learned the girl was still in training. I left with bumps all over my legs and still with hairs because she hadn't learned how to use the different types of wax. Maybe I wouldn't complain if it was free, actually that wouldn't be ok either. I didn't say anything at the store because she tried her best. But I won't be back because when you pay for a professional service, it should be done by a professional. They should also be teaching every employee before they put someone who's training to wax on skin. This can cause long-term damage to hair follicles when done incorrectly. I had to go to the dermo and pay $600 to correct the bumps caused by this wax, which is the only reason I'm posting this review. I wasn't going to say anything because the girl who waxed was nice and learning, but the damage from this caused me an unnecessary skincare bill. read more
