I went to young beauty parlor two weeks ago for an acne facial and foot massage. I was breaking out a ridiculous amount and nothing I did was helping. I wanted to give it a shot and waited the two weeks before posting this review so I can actually see the results. To start off, I changed into their dress and laid down. An aesthetician steamed my face and applied all sorts of products on my face before purifying my pimples. It definitely hurt, especially because I had a huge one right above my lips. After the purifying, the worst was over and I was given a mask and massaged during that time. That was my favorite part of the session because it was so relaxing. A second person did my foot massage at the same time, so it didn't take additional time. Honestly, the foot massage felt too weird for me, but that's okay. Afterwards, the 75 minutes was up and my face was extremely red from all the pimples. I looked pretty darn bad for the first three days -- so don't do this a few days before something important. My face started to look better over time and at two weeks my face really cleared up. It's not perfect yet, but it's looking much better than it was before I had this facial. read more

For some reason my right eye sheds none stop. I paid $82 for full set and $200 for a 3 month package that I can go fill every 2 weeks. This is cheap for eyelash extensions. Overall, good experience but do your research before buying the packages. Update: Got my first refill after 1.5 weeks, it was looking pretty ratchet after the first week.I had purchase the 3 month package refill so it was free l, just tipped 10$. I purchased their couples massage deal on Groupon and had 20% off additionally. Making tbt appointment was easy, I called and gave them my Groupon code. There was an option of Swedish or deep tissue. I chose deep tissue and added $10 for hot stone (which really hit the spot!). I didn't get the names of our massage therapists but they did excellent jobs. I am excited to go back and try their Swedish. My favorite was definitely the hot stone massage, it got my knots out and I like how it gradually went from hot to warm. Went here to relax for the reflexology foot massage, and it was a horrible experience. The girl was immediately rude, yelling at me to go in the room. I should've stopped there and left but i continued. The massage was lazy at times and painful for the rest. She had no technique, simply squeezing my muscles while using an entire bottle of lotion. I would say this place is pretty ghetto and tiny. The owner do try to make it pretty in some ways with the pink and flowers, but the vibe is still not that classy or clean. The front desk and owner is very nice. However, does it worth the money? not at all. I came here for eyelashes extension and I was pretty upset about it. I told her i wanted really curly and long lashes and even showed her my fake lashes that I wear everyday but it didnt help. She used very cheap lashes that it was so heavy because it wasn't single mink lashes, it was grouped and i asked for single! She also didnt use the correct curls for me, which all the extensionswas going downwards. After the session, i asked her to fix it up but she didnt know how. She just told me to get used to it....which got me a little up heated. Overall, I came here with high expectations and it didnt even meet decent. read more

She charged me $50..when I found out GROUPON had it for $40. Massage is only worth $40. I have been for, at least, 80 massages over the years. Lash application took less than 45 minutes which should've been my first red flag. The lashes were way too big/long and heavy for my eyes. I don't know how as a specialist, the lash technician wasn't able to guide me as to which size to get since it was my first time. My lashes ended up looking clumped and ridiculously fake. The material of lashes was cheap and shiny like it was made of plastic. It looked like spiders, definitely not a natural look that I was going for. The worst part was the long process of them falling off which made me look terrible because I had sparse long pieces of cheap black sticks poking out of my lash line pointing in different directions. My natural lashes were completely gone. Took me three months to finally restore them. Terrible experience, i wouldn't recommend. read more

I'm so disappointed that I literally have my face ruined because I trusted this place with my eyebrows.. the pictures that they post is definitely not their work as I came out with eyebrows completely different.. I normally pencil in my brows and love the way I did them. It was just a hassle having to do them everyday so I decided to make the decision to microblade them. So I went in with my eyebrows done the way I normally do them so she can basically go over them without having to create a new shape or anything like that. Well when we were done and I looked into the mirror I was completely mortified. My eyebrows were completely different shapes and not even close to the shape that I went in with. One eyebrow is higher than the other and it's just HORRIBLE. The technician kept saying my eyebrows were even when my eyes were closed. So I asked her "am I walking around with my eyes closed then?" So then she proceeds to say that uneven brows are the new trend and shows me a picture of a celebrity who's eyebrows were STRAIGHTER than my school grades and says "look they're uneven". I attached a photo of how I normally fill in my brows and a picture of what she did to ruin my brows. Now I need to pay extra to get them fixed or even removed because she ruined my face. I usually go get my eyelash extensions in Manhattan, but didn't have time to make the trip before my vacation. I decided to go somewhere local and found this place through groupon ($72 full set deal). I had a couple of extensions left from my previous appointment, but she worked around that which was nice. The physical place itself is okay. Not as comfortable as the places I usually go to. She also used tape under my eyes, not an eye mask that most places use. So after she finished, she took off the tape from under my eyes and it tugged hard on my skin. It was a little painful.. not a big deal, but obviously was a cheap technique. My eyes started to burn a little during the process and burned a lot after she was done. Now it's the second day and during my shower, my eyes still burn. More so than before. This never happened with the place I usually go to so I'm assuming they use cheap glue. Although I liked the style and the prices are affordable (I told her cat eye style), I will not be returning due to the glue. read more
