It was mot busy since I was the first customer in the store. It was for my sister's birthday. She loves fresh baked and good cupcakes. It's on the higher price but my sister and family wad worth it. Besides it was a nice celebration for my sister. Great cupcakes ! Thank you the nice baker that came out to assist me. She was friendly and helpful. Thank you! Be back again since now you're closer for me to come by! Thank you !

My daughter requested cupcakes for her birthday! I was looking somewhere around Kaimuki but their hours didn't work with my schedule. I searched thru Yelp and found out that Sugarlina Bakeshop opened a new location, and it's at Ward Village. Far but not too far! The bakeshop is located at Ward Village, 1200 Ala Moana Blvd Ste 6000130 Honolulu Hawaii 96814. They are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PMand close on Monday. The plan is nice and clean. The store also carries cute children clothes, swimwear and other accessories. I've had their cupcakes over 7 years ago but I remembered how our guests back then all approved the design and the flavors. It was a good memory that I wanted to have again! The cupcakes have cute mini fondants and the icing is sweet but not the typical icing you'll find on most cupcakes. Their icing is made of Swiss meringue buttercream and lightly sweetened. You'd have to try them to know what I'm talking about?! I walked in the shop and Sharon helped us place our order. Sharon was really nice and we got blessed even more when she gave us a good discount! But then again, we ordered 9 dozens mini cupcakes -- cookies and cream and s'mores flavors! Yup, 9 dozens! I picked up on the day of my daughter's birthday and delivered to the school teachers and her classmates. To my excitement, I forgot to take photos! ‍ I ordered extra cupcakes for our family dinner that weekend. We picked up chocolate vanilla, ube, cookies and cream, salted caramel, s'mores and mango lilikoi My family loved them too! Make sure to add this to your list for your next birthday celebration, wedding, anniversary, or just anytime you're looking for something sweet and whimsical!

Sugarlina has amazing cupcakes and the cutest miscellaneous items!! I honestly love going in the shop just to look at all the plushies and stickers, lol. Service is always quick and the woman at the counter is so nice. Love how whimsical the atmosphere is inside the shop. I've had their red velvet cupcake and it was the bomb dot com!! I need to go back again soon because banana pudding is one of my favorite desserts and I have yet to try it here!

***4.5 STARS*** I first met Sharon, one of the owners of Sugarlina Bakeshop (SB) many years ago via Yelp. I vividly remember her at Yelp's Annual Cookie Swap and Sharon's treats were exceptional. I also sampled her party mix, and it is clear to me that she's talented in kitchen. When I first heard she worked at SB, previously located at Pearl Kai Shopping Center, I wanted to try them out but it's out of the way for me so when they relocated to Ward Centre in July 2022, I was delighted as it's more convenient. I finally made my way here after being taken hostage again by Auntie (aka Nadine C.). We were meeting a mutual friend for an early dinner, and she purposely escorted me to SB. Located several doors away from Piggy Smalls and Kamitoku Ramen, SB offers decorative, colorful, and festive cupcakes and other sweet treats. Now that I need to watch my sugar intake, I had to be careful and control myself as indeed, the goodies look amazing. I really wanted to sample several cupcakes and their mini macarons but had to control myself. I ended up with their pumpkin banana pudding as I'm a sucker for seasonal flavors and love pumpkin. I almost lost control and got several cupcakes with the Halloween decorations. Soooooo tempting but I controlled myself. I took the pudding home and ate it for dessert the very next day. I was impressed with the first bite. I appreciated the finesse of this dessert, and the pumpkin wasn't dense nor overpowering. The sliced bananas were of perfect ripeness - not overripe nor underripe. For my palate it lacked some type of crunch that I was hoping for. Looked like there were some cookie crumbs (?) but it didn't have any crunch. Customer service was non-existent. No greeting by the female staff as we entered. Auntie and I were checking out their merchandise and sweet treats display case and as the only patrons in the store, was never approached. After deciding what to get and realized we had to get going to meet up with our friend, I flagged the staff for a pumpkin crème banana pudding. Overall, I enjoyed my first sweet treat at SB and wouldn't mind coming back again. Perhaps staff could be trained to provide better customer service as it was clearly lacking. 2022 #65

Aw, such a cute little shop! At first, we thought it was a kids shop and then, realized it was a cupcake shop! We stopped by to pick up some cupcakes after a delicious ramen lunch next door. Love the flavors, especially the chocolate hazelnut and the peanut butter chocolate! The frosting was perfect! There's also a cute shop of kids clothing attached to the bake shop. The people working here were nice and they offer a military discount!

Cupcakes, macarons, and cute things at Ward Center in Honolulu, Hawaii... I've always wanted to visit Sugarlina Bakeshop, but it was "far away" in Pearl Kai (Aiea area by Pearlridge). Somehow, I walked past a shop at Ward Village with the Sugarlina name on the window. I had to stop and ask if this is the same Bakeshop... Yes! They moved to this new location (Auahi Street) on July 1, 2022! CONGRATULATIONS on your new home! It's so clean, comfortable, and spacious! The owner, Sharon, was so helpful and friendly. I saw the kawaii plushies on the shelf and had to take a closer look. Then, I saw Snoopy, Rilakkuma, Hello Kitty, and more! Wow! The merchandise includes stickers, notepads, gift bags, and more! I got the bear and bunny cookie cutters because they remind me of Brown and Cony! Next, I perused the cupcakes... They seem so perfect and are very beautiful! I selected six to share with the church ladies - since the cupcakes last two days and I will see them tomorrow! Everyone can have a taste of the Guava, Chocolate, Ube, Peanut butter - chocolate, Red Velvet, and Mango - Liliko'i! I'm so happy! I'm going to return and get more cupcakes for my niece's birthday in November!

This business is located at Ward Centre. There are different flavors of cupcakes, macroon, and pudding. Also, they sell other merchandise for cute gifts. Employees are friendly and have your order ready. Customers can sit down to eat a snack after eating lunch and shopping. I would love to come again.

Thank you Yelpers if it wasn't for you I wouldn't know Sugarlina are in Ward Village even though I've drove passed here countless times. Located right on Auahi Street next to Kamitoku Ramen their storefront is slightly hidden from the bus stop so as I was looking for them I just passed right by them hahaha! Yes there is a sign but it's at the top of the store so if you're walking you'll won't really see it well and from the countless windows and the huge door there's just one simple sign in their trademark pink with the along with a sidewalk sign. Okay any who found it here I am mind you it's a great size shop very roomy and clean as soon as you walk in there's the register and refrigerater with drinks, macron cup and banana pudding on the left a whole wall filled with Sanrio and assorted Japanese merchandise. Let's talk about those cupcake...you certainly can't miss them all perfectly arranged in that huge display case. Scanning...Vanilla...Red Velvet...Vanilla Chocolate...Salted Caramel...Strawberry...Chocolate...Mocha...Cookies & Cream...Mango Lilikoi...Ube...Guava...Peanut Butter Chocolate and the flavor of the month Chocolate Haupia. Incredible amount of choices all so adorably decorated. These little work of art are like mini cakes in it's own and priced are matched as well at $4.75 each. I did narrow it down to two Ube and Guava both packed up beautifully in a box which keeps it safe from any shaken syndrome and for sure will make anyone's day a delight just from the aesthetic. The cupcakes are the average size and each were very good not too sweet with the cake being moist not dry with a subtle flavor I really did enjoy them and would probably go back for any special occasion...even for a craving lol! The shop itself is a downer there isn't any carnival of brightness when you're selling cupcakes they seem to have put all the funds in the gift wall and cupcakes where all that space I wished they had an Instagram wall or something more bright as it's pretty drab. A couple of seating would be nice to enjoy your sweet treat would surely draw in crowds. Follow them on Instagram @sugarlinabakeshop as they do custom orders as well they are so beautiful and who doesn't need some sweetness in their life! Thank you!

Omg I finally found them since they moved from their original location in pearl kai years ago and wow their cupcakes just got better and prettier. Stopped in a few times for that famous Tres Leches cupcake since I discovered them while walking around Ward Centre during the holidays few mths ago. They worked on their frosting it's not as sweet or heavy it's more a whip frosting which pairs better with their cupcakes. Follow them on social media for their cupcake flavor of month. If you haven't tried their Tres Leches you gotta, I know I'm late to the game but had no idea they moved til recently. And I finally tried their peanut butter chocolate it's pretty good but my fav is the Tres Leches wish they served it in a larger cupcake or pan haha. My 2nd fav Smores cupcakes are on Saturdays. Their mochi cupcakes are served on Sundays. Check their website for cupcake flavors and days. Their Puddings are good too. I gotta sample their macarons one day even tho I'm not a big macarons fan.

The prettiest and tastiest cupcakes ever!! This bakery is seriously the most instagrammable and has the taste to match up! This has been my go-to cupcake shop since they opened years ago! Their cupcake flavors are unique and always has the best presentation. My personal favorites are the Mango Lilikoi, Ube, and S'mores but I've yet to actually try every flavor because there's so many different ones and they are on a rotational schedule. I love that all of their cupcakes aren't overly sweet and allow the flavors to really shine. Even if you got a cupcake at random, you'll most likely be able to guess the flavor. They also offer a variety of other sweet treats such as banana pudding, macarons, custom cakes, and mini cupcakes. I personally have not tried their other treats because I always go for their cupcakes! Things they've recently added to their cupcake menu are mochi cupcakes (strawberry & matcha) and flavor of the month cupcakes! I recently tried their strawberry mochi cupcake and it was really good! Very chewy, mochi-like cupcake with a light frosting, strawberry purée drizzle and a strawberry. Again, it wasn't overly sweet & was a lot heavier and more filling than their regular cupcakes. Follow them on Instagram & check their website for their monthly specials and daily cupcake schedule. They recently announced that they are closing their Aiea store on April 24th to relocate to Ward in June or July which is bittersweet! On one hand, won't be any more bakeries in the area that offer speciality cakes and cupcakes but, I'm glad they are moving on up to a bigger and better location!

My all time favorite cupcake shop is finally in town! I swear I would come here everyday if I had the time. Their cupcakes are always great quality and made fresh daily. The cupcake I have to get when I swing by is their salted caramel cupcake. Cake is moist and frosting is deliciously creamy. All the cakes are beautifully made as well. Besides cupcakes they have banana pudding and macaroons too!

We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece. Knowing me, I was most interested in the dessert, but we ended up dining here on a whim. We had really great service when we dined in. I ordered the oxtail soup because I hadn't had it before, which fulfills my rule of trying new foods when I can. It was tasty, with a unique spice blend reminiscent of other beef soups I've had in the past. However, I was particularly wowed however by the complementary bread and raspberry jam. Call me simple, but the bread was actually the star of the show for me, perfectly soft and buttery. The location in Waikiki is perhaps a clear reminder that it is a tourism city. The atmosphere is that of fine dining. Not a bad place to grab a meal when on vacation in Honolulu.

Bad customer service. When you get there in a busy/rush hour, they expect you to grab a ticket but they barely use that thing. I waited with my family while the ladies behind the counter talk amongst themselves to finally notice us. Server Emily had a really bad attitude. She didn't even welcome us or greeted us when we walked in. Seems like they just hire anyone.. Rush hour is around 6pm-7pm. Not that busy. You usually see the same people everyday. Food at the restaurant... the prime rib isn't even a prime rib. New York and shrimp is too expensive for a very thin not deveined shrimps. I like my steak med rare but the last time I ordered it, they cooked it very medium well & so I got it taken back to the cook to get another one but a manager named Geraldine stepped in and said they'd have to charge me twice if I wanted another one. I'm a local and this was really unfortunate. Will never come back here due to the lack of customer service.
