I was so curious about this place because it clearly has its regulars--so I had to try it. And listen, I'm Colombian. I know good coffee. This is not just good coffee... it's great coffee. It's a really nice spot to spend some alone time, catch up on work, or meet friends. The vibes are relaxed and welcoming, the staff is attentive, and the quality of the product really stands out. I've been wanting to try Suited for their banana latte and it did not disappoint! It's a draft latte so it's on the creamier side which I like. The banana flavor is more subtle and not overly sweet. The employees were really friendly and the space itself is nice, with room to stay and work or meet a friend. They have a large food menu as well but I didn't get a chance to try anything this time. read more

Easily 5-stars! This is a neighborhood staple. My new obsession: banana latte! Think banana milk and espresso. The sweetness is built in, but it's healthy-ish? They close early around 4pm, so keep that in mind. The food is decent. I find it a bit pricy ($15 and up). But overall, it's a great ambiance! There is a wheelchair accessible entrance and a clean bathroom. You'll also find the one of the owners at the counter at any given time. It's a great spot to catch up with friends or spend some time with yourself. The seating area is a no work zone, but the countertop seating allows for work. Just note, there is no wifi, so you'd have to use your own! Hope you enjoy it on your next visit! And maybe I'll see you there, banana latte in hand. read more

The place itself was small but not too busy so I was able to order quickly and get my coffee quick. The coffee itself for drip is on the pricey side but the quality is up there and there were fruity notes in the coffee. If you want a great quality cup this is it but you could probably fine average cups for cheaper elsewhere. read more

In the canyons of Lower Manhattan, you will find yourself in the Financial District. We found this oasis in a place, strangely enough, named suited. Now, I would say it is well dressed, organized and to the point a nice place to get lunch. Inlooked around and only saw casually dressed patrons. Everything about our stay was relaxed. They offered a special price for getting a sandwich, it cones with a reduced cost drink, so in my case I chose a latte. Nice. My chicken sandwich was crisp on a brioche bun. I ordered a black tea to help me fight the jet lag for my first full day in NYC, and an employee at Apollo recommended Suited since Apollo doesn't have tea. I don't like coffee, so tea is my caffeine choice, and the tea was the perfect start to my day and helped me stay alert. The place is charming, albeit a bit cramped, but it's home to some good tea. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a good tea. read more

TLDR: Bold and strong, will wake you up. Taste is aite, BUT there is quite a bit of coffee grounds at the bottom, which really ruins the latte experience. - - - - - - Stopped by Suited with a friend upon strolling by Financial District, and wow, was their large coffee strong! I really wished there was a way to get a large size (of milk) without dealing with FOUR (!) shots... but I'll hand it to them that the espresso was remarkable. Espresso? Bold and strong - four shots, how could it not be. Awake after only 3-4 hours of sleep? Yes. Texture? Meh. Needs work, as there is a significant amount of coffee grinds still left at the bottom (see photo). Taste? Could be better, not as creamy because of proportions. In terms of space, there isn't much, and if you do find a spot, there is a good stream of customers that it can be quite distracting to sit / work at. Overall? My fiancé and I went to New York for my birthday and family visit. We found this local cafe. As we were on the line, my fiancé asked few questions regarding the breakfast menu. The crews showed annoyance and irritation. When asked if we could order over easy medium eggs. The crews refused and said that only offered what's on the menu. They were not very tourist-friendly and welcoming at first. We ordered two Cafe Latte. One bagel sandwich and another American Classic breakfast with scrambled eggs,gluten and dairy free toast(Very fresh, crispy and warmed). I fell for the home-made blue berry jam(Not very sweet). Overall, breakfast and coffee beverages were pretty great. However, we recommend improving on better customer services. read more

Amazinggggg place! This is the perfect brunch spot. Between 12-2pm they have 50% their brunch menu with a purchase of a drink which I highly recommend. The regular iced latte with oat milk was delicious and the Mexican breakfast bowl was too! Everything tasted amazing and they brought cute water cups. They have one restroom but it is clean and spacious. The cafe is also air conditioned which makes the experience more enjoyable read more

Suited is one of the best coffee shops in lower Manhattan. Owned by friendly Australian, Andrew, who cultivates high quality espresso, lattes, flat whites etc. Food menu is high quality with all the brekkie favorites. The burrito and egg sandwich are great. If you're after something lighter, they also have a selection of pastries such as candles, croissant or banana bread. It's a small space but with enough room to sit and talk over a date or to do some work quietly. read more

A couple of the best coffees I have had downtown. Cold brew was outstanding, as was my single origin cortado. Service was nice and help. Finally, even though it was a small shop, there was a good amount of seating and it was comfortable. Prices are reasonable for the high quality of their drinks and service. I have been to Suited twice since in the city and both times I have enjoyed the atmosphere and kind staff. The cappuccino is fantastic, and as a picky coffee drinker, I find it to have perfect microfoam and really appreciate that it is nice and hot (which is harder to find than you may think). I have enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and the Chicken Sandwich and thought both were very rich and well made. I personally don't love a brioche breakfast sandwich bun, but that is more personal taste. I urge all coffee lovers to make a stop at Suited! read more

I didn't have any food but the coffee was great. I really enjoyed the filter shot they pulled on the Decent. The coffee program director was working the barista counter and he definitely shared a passion for his craft. He answered all the questions I had regarding the coffee, and his process. Stopped in on a Wed morning for a cup of coffee. I loved the feel of this coffee shop. I opted for the lighter roast, which I thought was still on the darker side. I had a croissant, as well, which was excellent. They brought the coffee and croissant to the table along with water. Everything was served in glassware, which I like. We opted to have the gluten-free pancakes, which were very good. The pancakes had a sweet, citrus flavor added. Texture was excellent. I was afraid of the pancakes being gritty. (not sure if that is a reasonable fear). Plenty of staff. Service was fast. All of the staff was friendly. Plates were removed from the small table quickly. read more

I came here for a quick bite on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Immediately I noticed they added some outdoor seating which is great because the place is not large. It's modern and minimal. They have limited selection of food; menu focusing on coffee & teas. The cashier greeted me & immediately took my order. I decided on Eggs Florentine, a latte with almond milk & a tumeric latte with almond milk. Total came out to $33.75 (a little steep for 1 entree & 2 drinks). Once we placed our order then we grabbed a table (counter space is the other option if the place is full). Preferring a table, we sat at one next to the door. Because it was busy the staff didn't have a chance to clean but quickly took care of it at my mention. The food came quickly and it was pretty. The salad had a light lemon oil dressing and the poached eggs sat on a bed of sautéed spinach and a nicely toasted sourdough bread. I was delightfully surprised that the bread was well toasted yet soft in the middle. The eggs could be more runny for me. But overall tasty. The latte was smooth and highly recommend. I was even confused on where to order my drink because of the overcrowding. We decided to get a cappuccino for the cold weather. We were surprised because it came in the smallest cup that I thought it was a to-go espresso. The drink wasn't the greatest either because it tasted more like water in my opinion. Came back here a couple of times as I was staying close to the area and recommend it for dropping by. If you want a coffeeshop to go to with friends, this is it as they have a large amount of seating both outside and inside, as well as a good amount of food menu items available to order. Came for quick lunch. I was torn btwn fish sandwich and Mexican bowl. Went with Mexican bowl. Market fish was snapper btw. I thoroughly enjoyed my Mexican bowl (with Steak). I didn't mean to finish it but i did. Only thing is that 1 tortilla chip inserted was kinda stale. I was done with my meal when it occurred that i would have also prefered a spicier sauce. Th3 green sauce that's included didn't really add much to the overall flavor of the dish. I hardly tasted it when I poured it into the bowl. I went for chai tea as i read that thru have got chai. Anyway, I have sensitivity to gluten so I tried gluten free peanut butter cookie. It. Is. The. Best. Gluten. Free. I've. Ever. Had. Periodt. Other places made it hard but this place it tasted just like gluten. One thing I found interesting is they bake their own pastries in their own kitchen. They also hand out leftovers if any for the less fortunate hum I can't rate on espressos since I cut them out. However, I've tried Turmeric drink and I recommend it. read more

Suited is a quaint little coffee shop I've passed by numerous times and always told myself I'd try but never got the opportunity.. until this weekend! I had just wrapped up a workout class nearby and was looking for a spot to grab a quick meal when it finally hit me to come here. When I dropped by, it was around noon and wasn't particularly crowded- there were some spots open at the bar near the door and a few smaller tables open as well, though they were quite close together so we chose the bar seating. The cold brew was a standard cold brew, nothing stood out in a particularly good or bad way. The breakfast plate was quite a large portion (I split it with my partner and we were both satisfied). Eggs were fluffy, potatoes were roasted with quite a bit of lemon and salt. Sausage patties were okay - I've had better but they also weren't the worst either. The Chipotle mayo was good as well.. but how could it not be! Overall glad I tried it, but would try a different dish next time I come. read more

Nonetheless it was delicious, the snow was very soft, and the mangos were sooo juicy and sweet. I appreciated that they used real mangos.

I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

After trying Cookies 'n Panna for the first time, I was craving it for days afterward. I also love Red Flag. It's unique, unexpected, and one of their sweeter options. Of their rotating flavors, I've had Smooth Strawberry and Mango. They're good, but not flavors I would personally repeat. The strawberry isn't as strawberry forward as I was hoping and the mango was decent, but didn't stand out. The biggest challenge is the line. Even at 3 p.m. on a random weekday, the wait can be 30 to 40 minutes. They sell out of flavors as the day goes on, and close relatively early for a dessert spot at 9:30 p.m. If there is something specific you want to try, go earlier. They post the menu daily on Instagram, although I have shown up on a few occasions and found the in-store menu differed from what was posted. If you want to skip the line entirely, and don't mind buying a bit more ice cream, you can order pints online ahead of time.

It was sweet enough for me without needing any additional sweetener. The only issue was that the hojicha came out a little grainy, so I think the barista didn't mix it as well as they would matcha. The Cherry Blossom Matcha ($8.50) was everything we imagined cherry blossom to taste like. A lot of times cherry blossom drinks end up tasting pretty off, but this one actually delivered. It's made with ground cherry blossom which I think makes all the difference. The matcha itself was good but the drink runs on the less sweet side, so my husband added honey and brown sugar syrup to his. By the time I got to try it, it tasted just as good as mine. We are definitely coming back for those cocktails.

The cafe seemed pretty and well-liked, so I'm open to try their food in the future.

The lights dimmed and the atmosphere changed to more intimate. We unfortunately had to leave at 5pm, but I imagined picking up a James Baldwin book, ordering some white wine and enjoying both.... Mmm definitely next time. Maybe sometimes after work - sounds like a great wind down.

The salami was good and honestly I'm not a fan of olives but my friend who liked it enjoyed them. Overall - a cute place to stop by for a hot chocolate and maybe a pastry!

Our wait was at least an hour and a half and were texted when our table was ready. They have indoor and outdoor seating with one bathroom for all to use. We got the viral pancakes and they were everything you'd dream they be and then some for sure very filling and buttery. I got a "pick me up" and it was perfect gave me a beautiful caffeine kick to start the day I recommend for sure. Weather you come for the viral moment this feels like a solid staple in the community with bright music playing everyone kind of everywhere and just a relaxed feel that you can't wait to enjoy after you get seated. The honey butter pancakes were pretty good but kinda drenched in the butter that made it hard to finish. The korean wings were also alright but the batter to me was kinda thick and heavy and lacked crispiness. The best item we ordered was the breakfast sandwich with hashbrown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

They don't take online reservations for groups over 5, so we called to make one for our group of 6. It was pretty busy Friday night, so would recommend. The service was great; they drew the cutest card when they found out it was my brother's birthday and let us bring a cake. And they also offered hair ties to the people with long hair. You order through an iPad which has a beautiful menu.
