I just got an iced latte with almond milk and truly it unfortunately was not at all strong - it just tasted like milk. I really needed some caffeine on this day so it was a bit disappointing. My friend tried the pour over and did enjoy that, so maybe that's something to order for sure at this place. The seating is super limited but when the weather is nicer they do have some outdoor seating available. read more

Great spot for a quick grab and go coffee & pastry or to sit and enjoy something from their kitchen. We ordered the pancakes and breakfast plate. Both came with plenty of food and both were delicious. The potatoes and sausage on the breakfast plate were my favorites but I love the amount of eggs they give you! Although there aren't too many spots to sit inside, on a nice day there's some seating outside and service is very quick! read more

was nearby and saw decent reviews for the coffee and canelé so I stopped in. The latte was ok - could barely taste any espresso though, needs another shot probably. The canelé was a mess - tastes more like a donut hole than a real canelé. No caramelized crust, it's basically all one texture with powdered sugar. Skip it. read more

A bit pricey but so yummy and cozy. I ordered a cappuccino and the scrambled eggs with toast. Everything was delicious. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. This place gets very crowded so getting a seat can be challenging. I tried to come a second time but there was simply no space Delicious!! read more

Came here recently for an early afternoon coffee, and was really impressed. We grabbed a seat outside, and service was fast and super friendly. They came out multiple times to get us water, ask us how we were doing, and so forth. I got a cortado, and it was really solid. Fruity notes that translate really well as the drink cools down. I typically like my roasts to taste more of a darker, caramel note, but this for some reason, I really enjoyed. I do feel like the milk wasn't as steamed as it could be; it felt quite thin, and didn't provide much texture to the drink. Overall, really good spot with plenty of seating, friendly staff, and solid drinks. Will definitely be back! read more

Would give zero stars. They messed up our order, the flat white tasted so nasty and I normally drink my coffee without sugar and cream. It was not good. Also food was not good. expensive for a flat white too. Anyway head to any other coffee shop to save the time. read more

Palm trees? In the middle of Manhattan? Why not! This place has all the vibes for brunch. I happened to come across this place while passing by and decided to stop in. The shop was not only clean and cool inside, but also gave off a professional vibe with the equipment they used. The staff was friendly, and the coffee was excellent. Especially thoughtful was when they brought cold water considering the hot weather, as I sat waiting after placing my order. This place is so cute on the inside and also has outdoor seating. I ordered the breakfast plate and thought it was decent but the sausage patties did seem a little undercooked. The sauce on the side was great though. My friends liked the breakfast burritos they ordered but I think I'll just stick with their yummy coffee next time. read more

Really nice place with large windows, letting a lot of sunshine in and the interior was a mix of hip/minimalistic. The cups they used were really nice too, artisanal. Interestingly the cup felt more hot than the actual drink for some reason. Servers were super friendly. Definitely but more pricey given it's location. The matcha I got was decent and the banana bread was really moist although I would prefer it to be sweeter. Still not bad, I just might be more of a matcha and dessert snob lol. But my friends were super satisfied with what they ordered: chai latte, soy milk latte, and croissant. They can also heat up the pastries for you, just ask! :) read more

Dropped by SUITED since I was in need of a pick me up and it was in a conveniently situated area, near the train station, on the way to my gathering. I've had this place saved for forever since the first time I wandered by on a stroll through FiDi. It was summer then, and families were congregated on the benches of the outside seating sipping mochas and there was a wonderful hustle and bustle throughout the cafe. This time I dropped by right before closing and service was fast and efficient. I love the interior of the store, which is this classy navy dark blue with nice minimalistic light elements. I got a flat white which was pretty good! Overall probably my favorite coffee that I've had in the FiDi area, which overall can be pretty sparse in terms of dining and beverage options. read more

This is a stop for french toast! The coffee is quite good too. This coffee shop has limited but delicious food items. There are not many places to sit, so be prepared to come and wait for a seat before ordering or to take your order out (not an option for us on a rainy and cold March morning). We did get seats but shortly after beginning our meal we moved to a better, warmer location. There were a YUMMY choices we did not try. We look forward to someday trying them. Super cute new coffee shop that opened up in FiDi! The interior is really nice and a great spot to grab breakfast or lunch. They do all day breakfast which I loved. I went with my boyfriend and he got the sausage and egg sandwich and I got the soup of the day and a side of eggs. The eggs were so fluffy and delicious and the portion is huge. His sandwich was amazing, pretty thick and filling so you can split it if you're not too hungry. The aioli in the sandwich is the star. The soup of the day was a butternut squash soup. It was decent, but there was a strong turmeric flavor that was a bit unusual. Overall great new spot to checkout in FiDi as an alternative to other more mainstream coffee shops around. read more

Gluten free pancakes were amazing! Thank you! Coffee was good although counter staff either didn't hear my order or never brought the coffee so we had to ask and they believed us that we paid for it. There is a second door for wheelchair access. I appreciate the access even if not perfect NYC tries to accommodate with ramps. Hipster and business vibe but in FiDi so as expected. read more

I've always passed by Suited, but never actually stopped in for the longest time and I'm glad I finally did. I got the cappuccino with oat milk and the fried chicken sandwich. The seating is limited so you need to either be lucky or be okay waiting for a table. The employees were very accommodating and put us at one of the tables on the side that we didn't even see. I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant instead of taking it to go because the ambiance is very nice and the coffee always tastes better if you drink it out of a real cup instead of a disposable one. The location is super convenient right next to Fulton Station though so if you need to grab coffee to go, you can! read more

I visited after smelling the grilled cheese sandwich that my coworker had. It smells so fragrant and delicious. I personally love cheese every type of cheese. I ended up visiting to try the cheese grilled cheese myself and it was delicious. However, I think it would've been a little better if It had a little extra something, like maybe cheddar cheese to give it a little extra spunk and flavor. I think it was a little heavy and made my stomach feel weird for a short period of time, Maybe because I ate it a little fast, not sure, but other than that it was delicious. But it was very delicious and was made fresh within 15 minutes. The cashier was very kind. They also have three tables for indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well so you are able to dine in. Has a good number of seats with people coming and going. Staff is friendly. & I find this location very clean and upbeat! This is a great addition to a somewhat dull area for cafes! I can always count on Suited for a consistent, great coffee and they also have a punchcard, I think it's after 10 coffees you get a free coffee, which is nice because a lot of places don't offer that. The service is great and fast, I've never had food here and the coffee shop usually doesn't have seats available, there is outdoor seating, I'm more of a take my coffee and go person. read more

Love Suited! People used to say Fidi had no character and there wasn't much around. Lately there been been cafes and restaurants popping up around here. I'm super happy to have discovered Suited. This is an Australian coffee/cafe. Their brunch is delicious (and so filling) but their coffee is even better. I hope to try some pastries next time around and other brunch sandwiches. This was one of the nicest casual coffee shops I have seen in a while in NYC! I came here on a few separate days on a work trip, and the fact that I did repeat visits speaks volumes. (I also grew up in NYC so I know there is variety). I loved their flat white--I got it to go, but if you have a few minutes, stay and enjoy it in their nice pottery cups. I also really liked their caneles. It is a French pastry that is very difficult to make, and has a brûléed top and vanilla bean inside the cake filling. Baked in house and so good! I also tried their breakfast burrito--dang, it's awesome. It comes with salsa on the side and is flavorful and just the right size for a casual breakfast or lunch. Their staff are also very kind and handle any rushes with grace, and make you feel welcome. Come here, and you won't regret it. read more

Great vibe! Great coffee and lattes! We are staying about two blocks away and happened across this coffee shop while waiting for a green juice down the street. All of the employees were very friendly and myself and my friends who all got drinks enjoyed them. Their menu looks delicious as well with a good mix of savory, sweet, gluten free, and vegetarian breakfast options. There are a couple things served on weekends only but overall a very diverse and delicious sounding menu. I hope to be able to stop by before heading back home. read more

This cafe opened up not long ago so tried it out finally, and of course social distancing responsibly. There are several tables outside which was nice. I tried their latte, always first to to try at a new cafe. They have milk alternatives like oat milk, and they use oatly, so I tried it their oat latte. It was good, creamy and rich. The staff were courteous, and cafe theme "tailor-made" was very fitting and cute. Will def be back to try other items on their menu for sure. read more

Delicious coffee? Check. Delicious food? Also check. I loved the interior space - displaying a beautiful espresso machine and shelves of the coffee beans that they use (Sey, Apollon's Gold, etc.). They also have a very cool outdoor space that is available on non-rainy days - more of a standup space for people who are on the go (which, in NYC, feels like everyone). We got a simple Breakfast Sandwich. Honestly, I did not know that something this simple could taste so delicious. They opted for a brioche-like bun for the sandwich bread, and it included a perfectly cooked egg with some light cheese on top. It was classic but stellar. If the sandwich alone tasted that delicious, I can't imagine the rest of the menu! The coffee is what we came for, and we were also very impressed by its quality. They have a very interesting new method for Pourover - using an automated technique that pairs a specially made espresso basket with their Decent espresso machine. It was extremely fascinating to see this new technique, also also very cool to see how they are trying to highlight consistency in their brews. While we were waiting, we also got to try a sample of their drip. Overall their coffees are high in clarity and truly refreshing. Sometimes it is simple, washed coffees that do the trick (especially in this world of funky naturals). Thanks again to this super talented team for an awesome experience! read more

The salami was good and honestly I'm not a fan of olives but my friend who liked it enjoyed them. Overall - a cute place to stop by for a hot chocolate and maybe a pastry!

Because while I was in a long line, when I get to the front, there's another line to the left of the truck... and people seem to be getting their food faster, and the line is like 2x shorter. So that's kind of confusing. Ambience in line and ordering = chaotic. The line is quick in terms of when it is your turn, KNOW what you want. Because you have like 5 seconds to order and that's it. I ordered the special (the spicy rice, lamb and chicken combo, extra white sauce, 3 squirts of hot sauce, and a topped with fries). $13 in total. I would like to say, advice to folks to know what you want before you come. I did not look at menu options beforehand and I did fairly little research so I honestly did not know what to order, just looked at some google reviews and pictures. That is going to help you, in case you do not want the typical lamb and chicken combo. To the food - 1st - they don't care how much hot sauce you want. they're making these bowls in the masses and are just giving you a single squirt so they can make 20 bowls all at the same time. I was hoping for more spice in what I ordered, but it was very slightly spicy. I'm not sure if they let you serve yourself to more, but I'd definitely want more of the hot sauce. 2nd - I didn't taste any spice in the spicy rice. I'm not sure if, again, due to the fast production that it all just taste like regular rice? but didn't see what the hype was there. 3rd - I genuinely think the white sauce is what brings it all together. The chicken was OK to me. I didn't think it was anything special, and would give it a 3 out of 5. texture was OK, flavor was OK... the lamb definitely stole the show. The lamb was absolutely flavorful and full of delicious spices. This reminded me of what I've had in Dubai. Very rich in flavor and just the perfect amount of spices. Overall, I think if you wait for your food to cool down like 20 minutes, you'll get to taste the flavors more. Everything hot together, for me, just didn't allow me to really absorb all the food. But the rice was your average rice. Pita was deliciously soft and pillowy which complemented the white sauce. Chicken was ok. had an OK texture; nothing life changing. lamb was fantastic, and fries were just fries (nothing memorable). For a NYC experience, a 1-time, 50 minute wait is acceptable. And, for $13, that's pretty cheap for the amount of food you get. I would eat it again if the line was 5 minutes. Otherwise, I'm positive you will find similar food/better food elsewhere.

Given the fact that there were 20 others ahead of me, that was not bad at all. By the time you get your food, if you wanted to eat there, you could easily find a spot to slide to, to stand and eat. Pepperoni pizza was delicious. Sauce is on the tangier/more acidic side, more tomatoey. and the pepperoni was great. Slight spice to it, but not as good as L'industries. Nonetheless, this slice was delicious. Hot, melty gooey cheese and lots of pepperoni overload. Crust is divine. I could just eat that by itself. Definitely a great bite whether on the go, drunk, or just because.

When I asked if they had a smaller box, they simply stacked the slices on a flimsy paper plate and placed them in a brown paper bag. I even asked if I could have one of the sturdier sandwich trays to better protect the pizza and keep the grease from soaking through while carrying it in my bag, but I was told those were "only for sandwiches." We also had leftover chicken parmesan and asked for an extra plate, but they refused, saying we already had one. The whole experience came across as unnecessarily stingy and lacked basic customer service. For a popular pizza shop where many customers take food to go, I'd expect better packaging for leftovers. A simple, sturdy to-go box would make a big difference and prevent greasy slices from getting crushed or leaking through the bag. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go back. The pizza was decent, but it wasn't worth dealing with the poor customer service. There are better pizza spots in the city, like L'Industrie Pizzeria, where I've had a much better overall experience.

Our wait was at least an hour and a half and were texted when our table was ready. They have indoor and outdoor seating with one bathroom for all to use. We got the viral pancakes and they were everything you'd dream they be and then some for sure very filling and buttery. I got a "pick me up" and it was perfect gave me a beautiful caffeine kick to start the day I recommend for sure. Weather you come for the viral moment this feels like a solid staple in the community with bright music playing everyone kind of everywhere and just a relaxed feel that you can't wait to enjoy after you get seated. I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

I loved watching the staff prepare the noodles while waiting. My bowl was huge and absolutely delicious. It was very spicy as promised, but not too spicy that it was rendered not enjoyable.
