We had breakfast here on my very first morning in New York, and it was absolutely amazing. The dishes were delicious, and it was also my first time trying a Bellini. I honestly thought it would be too sweet, but to my surprise it had a very light peach flavor with gentle bubbles. Perfectly balanced and refreshing. I also loved the atmosphere. It felt a little bit like Europe, at least how I imagine it, which made the experience even more special. The café itself is quite small, but we didn't have to wait long. We were seated inside in about 15-20 minutes, which was totally fine for us since we had grabbed coffee and enjoyed sitting outside in the business district instead of waiting and being impatient. I was staying in downtown Manhattan and found this little gem. I was excited to try it after reading the reviews. We arrived around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, and it was busy. The café is fairly small, so we had to wait about 15-20 minutes. They don't take reservations, but you can add your name to the waitlist on Yelp -- I recommend doing that to shorten your wait time. I ordered the salmon brioche and the French toast. The French toast was delicious, and their latte was amazing as well! My boyfriend ordered the Sandwich Matin, and my son had the ham and cheese croissant. Service was great -- our waitress was helpful and attentive. Came here for lunch on a Wednesday! I got on a wait list right around 12pm but I got called in within 5mins. There's a little seating area outside so I got to sit and wait there, which was nice. The service was quick and efficient which is exactly what I needed for a lunch on a weekday, and I really appreciated it. I got Croque Monsieur with a side salad and the French orange soda. The Croque Monsieur might have been the best I've had so far. The cheese was cheese-ing not just the texture but it TASTED SO GOOD. We ordered two cafe Latte(Oat-milk). My fiancé got a Salmon Brioche and I got a vegan/ diary free avocado toast. Cafe Latte tastes as a usual American brewed coffee with creamy Oat-milk. My avocado toast turns out to be an alternative version. A sweet potato substitute replaced the bread toast slices. Eggs were regular over easy medium. Avocado tastes fresh, tender and creamy. They offered attentive customer service and have been tourist-friendly and welcoming breakfast/ lunch place. We'd recommend you give it a try when you're in town! read more

Came here when I was visiting NYC near the end of summer. It's a small place and the wait can be brutal but the food and drinks are amazing and exactly what I wanted and expected when I was browsing. The ingredients are quality, fresh, and flavorful. The dishes feel very balanced and satisfying. The freshness and lightness of the vegetables pairing with the salty savory proteins, blend with the grains and the buttery fat textures of the avocados and cheese. The banana pancakes were fluffy and soft. It was sweet but not overly sweet like you get with a lot of American desserts. The fruits added a nice layer and the blueberries helped even out some of that sweetness with their tartness. Service was alright. It's a very busy restaurantand very cramped. The food is the highlight everything else is like an accessory. If you're there for a pleasant sit down and relaxed environment, this won't check that off (though it does have interesting decorating and quickness to it). but the food is definitely a huge reason to stay. The cutest French cafe. Took a redeye out of SFO and wanted to eat something comforting. Found this place which wasn't too far of a walk from our hotel. At 8am not very crowded, we were seated in minutes. We were also seated next to another couple, it was almost like we were at the same table - so it was extremely cozy. Not sure how I timed it just right but I walked in during a weekday lunch rush and was seated immediately. Timing is everything because there was a waitlist off and on. It is a cute French cafe in the middle of FiDi. Small and you basically sit on top of each other because the tables are jam packed. There is also outdoor seating. The servers never make you feel rushed. Quite the opposite actually. I just feel like it's not the place to linger because it's uncomfortable being so close to the table next to you. I had the crab salad without the brioche bun. They served it over a piece of lettuce and some avocado. I also ordered the side mixed greens salad. The crab salad tasted fresh. It seems to have some French influence. The salad was extremely fresh and combination was very citric but not too much. It's hard to explain but it felt very light and tasty. The chicken sandwich on the other hand was light as well but didn't felt as much fulfilling. It was very tasty for sure just wasn't a filling. It does taste very nice and light for a sandwich. We live nearby and regularly like to visit for a morning brunch and coffee - or to pick up fresh pastries. They don't take reservations, so if you want to enjoy this Parisian treat, get here a little early to put your name down and stroll around the neighborhood while you wait.
