They delivered... slacks rolled up, shirts sloppily folded (not cardboard, no neck insert) and everything stuffed into a shopping bag. Do not use these people! They seem very friendly when you walk in, but they have no idea how to properly launder and/or dry clean clothing. Shameful. read more

This company provides cleaning services in my Brooklyn high rise. I hired them and the woman did a horrible job. I sent an email with photos and videos. Instead of making it right they rebutted with what the cleaning lady said I approved the work. They proceeded to tell me I should not have approved her work and let her leave and offer irrational excuses like, my son must have used the bathroom which explains the urine at the base of the toilet that had a brown ring indicating it was old. The floors were not mopped, and a wipe of window ledges left the Clorox Clean up filthy. After multiple emails and a battle, they eventually refunded me $100 of the $250 I paid. I then received an email instructing me to take down my review because they gave me the $100. Fast forward months later, I dropped of two blazers for the dry-cleaning and there is a note in the system instructing the workers not to service me. So, just like other posts here the customer service sucks. A simple what can we do to make this right is the way to handle this! They probably spared me more headache, so thank you! Do you have an industrial scale to weigh large bags of laundry? I don't either. I've been going to them since they opened. They have a 35 pound minimum for free pick up and delivery. BUT if you are a half pound short they charge you 5 dollars both ways. Without letting you know til you get the invoice. I complained and they said 'rules are rule no exceptions' They did give me a one time free delivery! There are so many dry cleaners in Murray Hill that don't do this. They have zero loyalty to long time clients. Seriously I'm talking about 1/2a pound. read more

Avoid this place harder than COVID. Management emailed me a couple months after my last review stating that they had changed management and their practices. Brought in 13 shirts this week, and it turns out they're still doing their practices of changing your requested service to a higher price service and then upcharging you without informing/telling you. I requested for 12 shirts to be wash and pressed, and the linen shirt to be dry cleaned. The person at the counter quoted me $44 ($3 for wash & press, $8 for dry clean), picked up the shirts, and sent me an online portal link containing the receipt. When I went to go pick up 3 days later, they informed me the bill would be $80 because apparently men's small shirts are "too small" for their pressing machine and they had to be sent in to be hand pressed. Being clearly a 5'5" guy, no one told me at dropoff my shirts might be too small for the machine, and at no one did they call me to ask if I would be okay with paying $6 per shirt instead of $3 because they wouldn't be able to service it the agreed upon way. read more

My first time using this cleaners. I entrusted them with a white, wool coat, with faux leather lapels. I went to two different locations who couldn't guarantee that the faux leather wouldn't crack. This business gave me a fair and accurate estimate, and the lapels remained in perfect condition. However, I am slightly disappointed - just slightly - that the coat doesn't appear to be whiter than when it went in. I'd give them a second try and use their services in the future. read more

I said I had already been promised a refund by the tailor (I took his shoddy work back to him and he got upset) and I have already gotten it repaired by another seamstress. Each time I have gone there has been a different issue with my clothes weather my dress shirts and wrinkled, dirty (new stains that I didn't have when dropping off) as well as ruined women's clothes. I used to love the location on 28th street before it closed. Even though this location is further from me, I figured it would still be worth it to walk the few extra blocks since the location on 28th did such a good job. I sent a top to be repaired (broken zipper) and dry cleaned. I received the top back and the zipper was never fixed. I'm really frustrated since I will not be able to take the top on vacation as I had planned. I tried to email the company and the email address listed on their site is not an actual email. We get our dry cleaning done here all the time. They pickup from our apartment and drop off when needed. A little on the expensive side for not doing dry cleaning in-house. The service though is great! Whenever we need dry cleaning we call S&S up and they pick up from us quickly. Usually within the hour. Our clothes are cleaned and dropped off in a few days. My only complaint is the cost. On the expensive side. Considering it is not done in-house. Initially the coupon was helpful. Then again what isn't expensive in Manhattan. Solid service. The turn around time is very quick, the rate is unbeatable for NYC and they are text enabled so you get updates on your dry cleaning process all easily through text. Duke, the rep at our building's valet where we have suit's and skirts is a one of a kind guy! Always so helpful, kind and great to work with.
