    Shrimp Combo
    Emily H.

Sukihana has huge portion sizes - a great bang for your buck! I ordered their shrimp combo which included steamed veggies, rice and a LOT of grilled shrimp! Their service is quick and you can watch them make your food on the grill top right in front of you. I noticed that it's $.50 to upgrade to fried rice which I would do next time. If you're looking for casual place to eat while shopping at UTC, I'd recommend this spot located in the food court!

I did not have high expectations for the food court food but the food here are terrible. The place not open until 11:30 on Sunday. I got chicken and shrimp teriyaki noodle. The shrimp are under cook and the noodle has too much oil. The taste is not good as all. Also vegetables they added in just the blank stem vegetables. Customer service is ok. Not friendly at all.

Suki Hana is one of the best options in the UTC food court if you're looking for bang for your buck. They load plates with protein and list the calories, making it a great stop for anyone watching their diet! I definitely recommend getting the Chicken Teriyaki.

This location used to be Sarku Japan, but the popular Chicken Teriyaki--which comes with rice and vegetables--remains as combo #1. Combo #1 also tastes the same and this is great news because the chicken is flavorful, succulent, and crispy. Don't be afraid to ask for extra sauce because that sweet and savory sauce is divine. Combo #1 is a simple but satisfying dish, and will fit nearly any caloric budget at just 640. Considering inflation, the $11.99 price is also fair. ChatGPT did not elucidate the differences between Sarku Japan and Suki Hana. Please message me if you are able to!

There was a teriyaki place at the mall pre-Covid that served up a huge mound of food. Sadly they've closed. Since the world reopened after/ during Covid I'd been craving that same chicken teriyaki. On a recent stroll through the food court, I noticed a new player in town. Suki Hana has come thru and opened serving up similar teriyaki dishes. Prices are similar to the previous operation, maybe slightly higher prices. That's somewhat expected due to the higher costs of operation these days. Still a good deal for the mall. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and shrimp combo. Both were cooked to perfection. Shrimp were plump and not over cooked while the chicken was tender and juicy. It was served on a bed of steamed rice and accompanied by steamed veggies. Don't forget to ask for sauces if needed. Keep on Yelp'n!

Great tasting food, good value, and healthy(ish?)! This is my go-to restaurant at the food court. This used to be a Sarku Japan, so if you're a fan of that you'll also like Suki Hana.

The chicken cutlet was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked perfectly. The hot stone beef was high quality and literally melted in our mouths. The king salmon and salmon belly sushi were some of the freshest we've had. The baked toro roll was a pleasant surprise, such a unique combination of texture, flavor, and consistency. The restaurant itself is modern, clean, and inviting. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. Owner and Chef Simon is warm, welcoming, and truly hands-on. He was greeting guests, bussing tables, and making sure everyone was taken care of, which says a lot about how much he cares about the experience. In terms of quality, freshness, flavor, service, and value, Blue Ocean stands out among the sushi restaurants in the UTC area and surrounding communities. We'll definitely be coming back!

My wife wanted to celebrate her birthday with tonkatsu to the level of our Tokyo dining experience. Our overall dining experience was exceptional. We had not been able to make reservations so we attempted to walk in upon opening. We arrived before opening and were surprised to see a line of about 5 parties ahead of us. By the time the doors opened there was another 5 parties in line behind us. Nevertheless, we were able to get a large table on their patio. We received service promptly. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The baby octopus kaarage and chicken kaarage were on point down to the dipping sauce, Japanese mayo and lemon wedges. The fillet katsu was cooked to perfection and the shredded cabbage was dressed with gingery flavor. This meal just hit every aspect that tonkatsu in Japan has to offer. I was very impressed with the quality, presentation and foremost the taste of all the food. Oishi des!

I ordered the Deluxe Combo (+rice and miso) which included 3 large scallops, 1 shrimp, and 1 pork cutlet. The quality is sooo good, it was worth paying $34. I usually really don't like tonkatsu because people make it in a way that the breading/fried part is also soggy and separated from the meat by the time it's served to you. Or it's just a thin layer of breading it might as well not be there! But EE NAMI chefs do it so well, the large, flaky breading actually complements the meat inside. Also ordered the octopus wasabi appetizer. My palette preference is there would be even more of that wasabi kick to it. Still good tho! We came with a party of 7 as a walk-in on a Thursday evening. We had to all be present in order to be seated. The only con is the size of the restaurant/availability of seating, which can't really be helped.. but we just had to wait an hour outside before a table opened up. I was impressed though that they fixed us one table so we didn't have to separate from our party! We had originally looked into reserving a table a few days prior, but the time slot we wanted was already fully booked. So reserve at least a week ahead for popular dinner times! Plenty of parking. 2 bathrooms in the back. Indoor and outdoor seating.

I always get mine less salt and less oil and it's perfect. Sometimes I find ramen to be way too rich but with ramen nagi it's the perfect balance. I also enjoy the customization of the noodle texture and I love getting my noodles firm. And the complimentary bean sprouts is the cherry on top to the perfect meal. When you start getting tired of the taste, you can easily change it up by either adding some vinegar, sesame seeds, chili powder, black pepper or the crunchy umami filled bean sprouts. It's a meal that can only get better as you progress through it. As for the service, even though it's a small place I never find myself waiting for more than 10 minutes. The food comes out quick and pretty much everything you need (chopsticks, napkins, toothpicks) is in front of you making it easy for the servers. Honestly, I can not fault this place in any way.
