i passed by to quickly order a road trip dinner, and it was fairly empty, even though they have plenty of seating. i was surprised to see a self-order kiosk since it seemed to be newly added - i'm sure that helps when there are long lines. i ordered a vegetarian banh mi and bbq pork banh mi, along with a large kumquat sugarcane juice. i don't remember the prices of lee's sandwiches being that expensive honestly, but the order totaled just under $30?! the restaurant itself looked a bit run down, but they offered plenty of snacks/chips and even had other small businesses operating in the establishment, like a ramen bar. the restroom wasn't too clean either - none of the ladies' stalls had liners unfortunately, one of the faucets didn't even have a handle to turn it on, and one of the toilets couldn't even flush. it's unfortunate that this lee's sandwiches location isn't very well-kept - i'm sure there are other more authentic and worthwhile banh mi/vietnamese restaurants to check out in chinatown!
We were getting thirsty and knew this cafe would have drinks and snacks. I've been to another Lee's shop in California. They have snacks and other food available, they're known for bun mi sandwiches and iced coffee. This store is pretty big, there's also a ramen shop on the side as a shared business as well. Cafe is pretty big and spacious, additional seating closer to the door by the glass windows. Order at the counter and they will call the order number once it's ready. My drink was made pretty quick, I didn't want to get too much food knowing that we're going to dinner soon.
There's no GREETING UPON entry so either you have to order at the self kiosk or place an online order. Shocking to see no Asians in this LEE'S SANDWICHES!!! What I love about LEE'S SANDWICHES is the LYCHEE SMOOTHIE!!!! WE WERE ALSO SURPRISED TO SEE SUGARCANE!!!! LYCHEE SMOOTHIE: 10/10 They have always made it really thick, rich and smooth. Other places always make it too ICY. I really like the rich and creamy texture. It's always been a ritual to have one of these smoothies after working out at the gym... AMBIANCE: 7/10 The tables need to all be cleaned and wiped down. They do have plenty of snacks and drinks though. But, most of the customers coming in are a bit sketchy just FYI. My hubby said this feels like GANGSTER'S PARADISE!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LYCHEE SMOOTHIE!!! UNTIL NEXT TIME LEE's SANDWICHES!!!
Service is a bit slow but it's worth the wait! The waffle guy isn't here all the time so if you want the bubble waffle, you have to time it right. The house made baguettes will have every taste bud screaming! But the real hero is the iced Vietnamese coffee nom nom nom
I was looking for a nearby place to catch up with a friend and remembered Lee's Sandwiches, it's been years since I've been, but it used to be a late‑night staple. We were originally headed somewhere else, but I'm so glad we switched. I ordered a Thai tea and an almond croissant, and wow... that croissant was everything. Fresh, warm, and flaky. Honestly, I would come back every morning just for that combo. Young lady in the morning was kind, helped us make a decision on what pastry was better. Such a simple, easy, delicious experience. Definitely recommend.
Love coming to this location. Had the salami and turkey on croissant and hubby had combination on baguette. I also ordered a coconut waffle, which was made fresh, and since we were eating there, I didn't mind waiting for it to cook. Add usual, the good was flavorful and delicious. Not sure why their bread tastes better here than at the Lee's Sandwich in Westminster and Garden Grove. But we love it here! The place was clean, staff friendly, and they no longer have loud music playing and all the TVs were removed. They have newly added a Ramen Bar in the area they were not using before. The ramen selection is big and divided into spice level. Once you select your ramen, you can add toppings for $1 each or 3 for $2. Then you take the items to the machines in the back and follow the instructions on cooking them and when to add the toppings. The staff are very helpful and she offered to cook it for my hubby. They also have various Asian drinks and other items in a freezer and fridge. This new addition is great and he lived being able to get ramen to enjoy with his sandwich. They also carry various Asian chips and snacks. Randomly they also have some skincare and cosmetic items in the store too. I hope the Ramen Bar is successful as it's nice to have variety at Lee's. We will definitely return. I wish they would return to being open 24 hours a day like they were pre-pandemic.
I had been seeing this place all over my Tik Tok page, more specifically the Vietnamese iced coffee so I felt compelled to try as a strong coffee lover. I drove from north las Vegas so it was a 30 minute commute. The place itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. There is no real customer service your not greeted upon entry, and have the option to order with an actual person or the kiosk. I opted for the kiosk and tried the Biscoff iced coffee, and the bacon and egg sandwich on a croissant. The sandwich was made to order, hot, fresh, the bread was soft and flakey. The sandwich was amazing! The coffee was pretty impressive as well. Well worth the drive I'll definitely return when I'm in China town.
Didn't get banh mi at this specific branch but their thing is making banh mi with baguette bread, if you like that over your typical banh mi with a flaky crispy bun. The flavors of their sandwiches are always good though, and this one had FRESH PRESSED SUGARCANE JUICE ugh so yummy, little bit of a tang. Sugarcane juice not available on ordering kiosk though so need to order at counter in person. Coffee was also super rich and creamy viet coffee, def recommend a smaller size if you're an American coffee drinker.
$5.40 for a cup of ice with a side of coffee. I got home, removed all the ice, and was left with THIS much coffee. Absolutely not worth $5.40. I've never seen an iced coffee filled with this much ice. Definitely would not recommend.
Just tried their Vietnamese coffee and it was spot on. Strong, sweet and creamy. But it's almost $7 for medium sized coffee and the place look like a grocery store. I was expecting it to be a little cheaper as I can get similar coffee at a fancier place. But other than that, I would still recommend and would buy it again too.

Also, considering this is my 1st time eating their sandwiches, i cant attest to quality from previous years. Decor feels like its stuck in 1990s. I like it. It looks like a nice place for young folks to hang out and eat snacks along with their sandwiches. The sandwich size is comparable to places in DC but not in NYC. I def prefer NYC sandwiches more but these were a nice / quick meal. The egg rolls were fine. They dont have the Woodear mushroom so its doesn't give me an authentic feel. I would come for a quick snack. I prefer NYC ones which are differently shaped (lees are more skinny tubular and NYC ones are more almond shaped) and more filled with ingredients. #11 only had 3 slices of cold cuts, pate, and the works. I think overall, $8.50 is overvalued for the filing amt. Even in NYC chinatown, you can get a bigger sized bahn mi with 2x meat for similar pricing. It isn't a must first try BUT it was nice to see the restuarant of the grocery store item I've seen so many times. Soda refills are 49 cents. The prepared food offerings are slacking Though. They only had one steamed bun and some baked pastries/egg rolls on display/for sale. #11 $8.50 5 pcs "egg" roll (pork and shrimp) $6.50

my first time trying lee's Vietnamese coffee here in Vegas. There's one also in VA but never been too. Im glad finally tried their Vietnamese coffee and it so really good.
Randomly walked past this restaurant as I looking for a fast and easy place to have lunch before heading back to my hotel. Chinatown has a variety of cuisine options as far as Asian food. Don't judge a restaurant by its exterior and most especially the interior. Even when you initially walk in and see that it's a bit dated, doesn't mean the food is dated. Assessing the constant flow of customers walking in the restaurant for either to go or for short dine in, I am willing to give this place a try. The variations of banh mi is good with breakfast or lunch options included and a few other sandwich options like European style sandwiches to choose from, I went with Asian instead. The friendly service by the female cashier was quick and pointed out a small bag of chips is included with my combo, honestly I was hoping for French Fries. It's a great place for grab-and-go before your trip back to your hotel, home or work. Lots of free ample parking out front, clean restroom available, there's also a K-Beauty shop and a K-Ramen shop inside too! read more
We came here to get the yogurt drink my husband got last time in San diego. Let me tell you, not all lees sandwich are made equally. Lol! I guess the lees sandwich in San diego is the only place that makes the yogurt drink my husband loves so much. This lees sandwich doesn't have much to offer. I dont like banh mi here so I always opt for the croissant sandwiches. Today I got the tuna. Its pretty decent, but not the greatest. My kids like the coffee here so we got that. I got a coconut drink that had a strange after taste. You can tell they use powder. The inside is huge with plenty of seats. It reminds me of a mini mart. read more

I ordered a LARGE Vietnamese iced coffee with LIGHT ICE, and this is what I was given. The cup was nowhere near full and had a huge amount of empty space at the top. I specifically asked for light ice because I wanted less ice--not less coffee. If I'm paying for a large, I expect to receive a large amount of drink. It's ridiculous that choosing less ice apparently means getting significantly less product. This honestly feels like customers are being penalized for asking for light ice. Either you get a cup packed with ice, or you ask for less ice and they simply leave the cup half empty. That is not good value and definitely not what I expected from Lee's. Very disappointing experience. Management really needs to address this because customers should receive the amount they paid for, regardless of how much ice they request. This is an on going problem with Lee's Sandwich stores. read more

Bad coffee after my boyfriend drink a one third of bottle one with ice. it made him going to restroom a lot and we told the owner he said it's the customers responsibility. But the bottle doesn't state clearly how strong the coffee is. I will never go to any Lee sandwich again. read more

Ordered takeout for lunch last week! The sub was delicious and huge. They were not rationing with the avocado! I also tried the Vietnamese coffee. I was so good that I drank it fast. However, I'm not a usual coffee drinker so it had me wired then it turned into a caffeine headache. I would definitely have it again but in a smaller portion and slower pace of course. read more
I got 3 banh mi dac biet and waited a little less than 10 minutes. Their banh mi has always been consistent to me whenever I visit a lee's sandwich. I really enjoy their pate and the fresh ingredients. Their banh mi has always been fresh and nothing has changed about the quality it delivers. Is it a life changing sandwich on flavors and seasonings? No. BUT they are always consistent in my experience. It's always a good option to get if you need something on the go. Can't go wrong with a banh mi. read more

Even though the interior is a bit dated and could use some improvements, there's a familiarity and comfort that this place provides. The variations of banh mi is good with breakfast options included and a few other sandwich options. The service has been steady even coming here years later. It's great for a grab-and-go before your trip back home or an easy reliable bite. read more

Had an order of Manjoo which is a sweet bread filled with custard and a fresh spring roll. The spring roll was pretty large. Lots of protein and they gave 2 sauces. I didn't personally try the pork but my son liked it. I felt like it was freshly put together so the veggies were crispy and the rice noodle and rice paper was soft. The sauce was a little runny but still had flavor with a touch of chili in there. The manjoo was dry, unfortunately. I saw them making it fresh. So I don't know if the batch I had was either older or more cooked. The taste was still good. It was similar to how I've had it before. Service was quick and efficient. I got my food to go but the restaurant had a good amount of open seating mid day, on a Tuesday. The ambiance was chill and average noise. read more

Lee's Sandwiches WAS my favorite late night spot for a bahn mi Sando. I have been eating here since I was introduced by a date years ago! I have eaten here since 2012 when the sandwiches were still REALLY GOOD. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the overwhelming reviews that they have dropped in quality and value as the sandwiches have really gotten skimpy. The BBQ pork is my go to and add Sriracha which they provide! Mmmm yum yes. I actually crave this sandwich, when I started eating here their sandwiches were $4.00 and they were really filled with meet and veggies that is how long I have been eating here. I don't visit as much as I used to and this may be my last time until they go back to what the people want. read more

The best Vietnamese coffee. I'm so glad it's now sold to go at Costco. I tried the most popular sandwich the BBQ pork; very tasty and surprisingly light. The staff moves quickly and orders too. There's also a little store with lots of Asia products. Ample seating as well. Great lunch spot if you like Asian food. read more
Don't get their spring rolls here. They really messed up on the spring rill. They had shrimp and BBQ in it, lettuce, mint leaf, and tons of noodles. It wasn't refreshing at all. They rolled it like a burrito and when you open the packaging, the spring rolls stuck together which broke the wrap. I don't care about size by loading it up with noodles, I care about having good portions and not just tossing extra ingredients to make a spring roll. The BBQ wasn't even big slices but just shredded slices like from some kind of leftovers. This is something I'll put together if I was lazy at home and ran out of ingredients but wanted spring rolls. read more

So I've been at this location many times coz me and my husband love their sandwiches.. my first time to take my daughter with me and the cashier told my daughter to use the kiosk machine to place her order while she's over there , grabbed sesame ball , go in the corner and started talking to another co-worker while eating meanwhile my daughter was struggling to place her order, it probably took her 5 minutes to place her order .it's 5:47pm and the place was empty. The guy who was literally in the back even look at her and pointed us but she just chuckled.. All 3 of them are not doing anything btw.. I wanted to say something but I tried to bite my tongue coz my daughter was with me. 2 guys walked in and she happily helped them.it made me so mad coz me and my daughter can't figure out how to order the combo but she did not help us at all and for her to even chuckled when her coworker pointed at us..so unprofessional.. I will never go back to this place.. there's a lot of places like this that will happily take our business I wished I took a video while she was talking to them read more
Every time I come here the ladies are so welcoming and friendly they sell a bunch of snacks and noodles I don't see other places! I always order the bbq pork sandwiches and an ice coffee, the coffee is really strong but oh so delicious! The pork sandwiches have the sliced bbq pork pickled veggies and fresh onion and cilantro, it's always incredibly fresh, bread is baked in house. Today I got the pork and chicken egg rolls they were good but then I added the sweet and sour sauce and they became incredible!!! Very good croissant sandwiches that are filled with meat, cheese, and veggies. The breakfast croissants are good too but not as good as the lunch options. This is a fast-casual concept and our food always comes out quickly. Staff is nice and the eating area and shop are clean. Parking can be a hassle since there are so many businesses in the same plaza so prepare to wait sometimes. read more
