I drove from north las Vegas so it was a 30 minute commute. Didn't get banh mi at this specific branch but their thing is making banh mi with baguette bread, if you like that over your typical banh mi with a flaky crispy bun. The flavors of their sandwiches are always good though, and this one had FRESH PRESSED SUGARCANE JUICE ugh so yummy, little bit of a tang. Don't get their spring rolls here. They really messed up on the spring rill. They had shrimp and BBQ in it, lettuce, mint leaf, and tons of noodles. It wasn't refreshing at all. They rolled it like a burrito and when you open the packaging, the spring rolls stuck together which broke the wrap. I don't care about size by loading it up with noodles, I care about having good portions and not just tossing extra ingredients to make a spring roll. The BBQ wasn't even big slices but just shredded slices like from some kind of leftovers. Not lukewarm but cold and tasted old. Lees sandwiches never have great flavor but this one went far beyond normal. I still almost gave them a 3 based on reputation but then I watched my uncle microwave his. We got there about 45 mins before closing so maybe that had something to do with it. But, if they weren't prepared to serve us - I wish they would not have. Alot of local places can offer more meat, better quality meat, or better bread but they are always off by something. Back in LA/OC, Lees would be a 2 star for me in terms of quality, affordability, and scarcity. So random, but they offer $3ish corn dogs, $3 fries, etc here too.
