My entire dining experience was on point from perfectly shaken cocktails, impeccable entrees and super attentive service from Sean so needless to say, I will no doubt be back soon. This is more like an Irish bar/ restaurant. I went with a group of people after we played some games at a nearby sporting center. The employees were very friendly and hospitable towards us. We had a large group and asked if we can be by the bar area. There are a lot of high top tables inside by the bar which is the section we were seated at. I didn't order any drinks, but did get the Shepard pie and it was very good. The kobe burger was so delicious. As long as you get it medium rare it's very mouthwatering and flavorful. Overall the service and the employees were great! The kitchen did take a bit with the food, but it could be because the party was so large. If I was in the area and want to watch the Knicks, I would go to this bar again. read more

I would highly recommend trying the potato leek soup, it was out of this world! I found the fish and chips to be a little disappointing, but my friend had the Shepherds pie and absolutely loved it . Came by because I haven't eaten here in a while. They updated the interior and made it look really elegant without going to fancy. Really nice booths and tables and a new bar. Bar chairs also looked very comfortable. Had dinner with two friends. I loved the braised, short rib and the fish and chips with crispy fries and the Kobe burger were all a hit. We also had the French onion soup which is covered in Gruyère cheese and was delicious but I didn't get to take a picture of it before we ate it. Service was wonderful and prices were not too expensive. Always a great place in my hometown would always recommend! Great pub, food and atmosphere. Had dinner with friends at Sullivan's Quay last night. It was the first time we have been there in a while and we were excited to see the remodel job which was lovely. Our server was helpful and friendly. It was the food that was unimpressive. Two of us had French dip - and both of us barely picked at it because it didn't taste great. Plus the "dip" was super salty. Both of us woke up in the middle of the night with terrible stomach pains. Related? Probably. Two others got chicken pialard and said that the chicken was overdone. One friend had a burger which was "ok - made from a frozen burger." So - not a great meal. Sadly we won't be back. read more

Had a Friday night burger with my cousin, but forgot to take photos before devouring the cheeseburger and fries. I highly recommend adding bacon, avocado, and cheddar to the burger - not only was it grilled to perfection, it was delicious. Wow! Real neighborhood gym. After playing around of golf nearby, finishing in the rain, we were turned down at the golf course grill after our round. Found this place on yelp and happy that I did. I imagine the food at Sullivans Cue is far better than the garbage I would've eaten at the nearby golf course grill. They were four of us and we started with a bunch of small plates for the table. Korean barbecue cauliflower bites, and perfect texture and delicious KBBQ sauce. Short rib tacos were outstanding, the meat was so tender and the slaw and tortillas were perfect temperature. We had the duck and Street corn wontons off the special menu. By far the best thing I had. We also had some crabcakes and the retro salad, both which were very good and I would order all of those items again. Service and atmosphere was lively and very friendly. Went to dinner here with friends and NEVER WILL RETURN! The waitress was so unfriendly and rude. The place was empty ( I know why) . We added a chair at the end of table for coats . She took it away blaming it on big party coming in. I think I counted 3 people walking in ! It seemed a hassle to her when we requested more water. And our meals took forever to come out ! She never returned to explain or offer a basket of rolls. So we had to get up and find a waiter to get us rolls ! . Waitress finally returned with food .. My friend's dish was vile . She did ask him if he wanted anything else. He refused. She never came back to check in on us ! When the bill came, we saw that she hadn't taken the dish off . Redid the check . And chased after me telling me how wonderful she was... Not true . Learn how to interact with customers. Attitude needs help! And wait on your customers rather than hanging out at the bar . Came here yesterday for brunch.. my party of 3 couldnt make a decision where to go therefore i just happen to see if they take the open table app for reservations they do! That decision was easy! There was plenty of street parking. When i was deciding on what to order off the menu i was swinging towards the chicken and waffles only to be told they are no longer offered i was disappointed because it shouldve been told to us when we were seated or better yet taken off the menu. I opted for the fried chicken sandwich kt was delicious super moist and juicy. I wish i asked for some syrup on the side to drizzle on it but i was content. I have had the opportunity to eat at Sullivan's Quay a few times with my Kiwanis group. Every time has been an enjoyable experience. In the evening you can park in the bank parking lot next door and there is street parking as well. It's right on Port Washington Boulevard and extremely easy to get to. You walking to a nice bar/restaurant and I've always been greeted very nicely. It really makes a big difference when you walk into a restaurant and they're happy to see you. We sit in a room in the back 25-30 people. It is a wonderful little setting with a fireplace.. it's perfect. Being part of a group makes a little bit easier as the menus already picked out. For some reason I always seem to get the same thing. It is the terrific fish and chips. I like those big pieces of fish that are cooked in a wonderful crispy batter that gives me that special crunch on the outside and a nice soft tender tasty fish on the inside. How could you pass on their french fries. We always have a very attentive servers who manage to get our entire order before a meeting gets started everything is served quickly which allows us to be able to relax for a while. It sounds like simple thing but it takes a lot of work and Sullivan's Quay does it very well. Let's not forget that Sullivan's Quay is a also a wonderful bar and they do have have a beautiful bar managed well with great selections of draft beers and plenty of specially cocktails. It's good to sit back and see so many people having a good time. Lots of regulars here. When you're given 4 days to put together a wedding for your nearest and dearest, what's a girl to do! Trying to keep everything in a super tight budget, timeframe plus local locale wise, I was still not gonna settle for just mediocre! Had a really great impromptu late night dinner the other night here and thus decided to inquiry about hosting the reception in their back room. Thankfully it was available! Manager Henry and his staff went well above and beyond for our little almost 30 guest reception! All of our guests, the bride and groom could not have been happier. They offer two course menus with 3 reasonable price points and because an ingredient for one of my choices could not be procured on such short notice, they allowed me to choose something else from one of the other items in the other price points instead. Portions were generous, deliciously prepared and drinks were strong! Will definitely be back to do other parties here again as well as dinner with the fam. read more

Ahh .... Thee OL Sullivan's Quay! What a find . Parking is easy , and the " pub stools " are easy to relax in . Too few restaurants and pubs realize how important it is , to have comfy cozy seats . My " cutie Bear " and I have actually STOPPED going to certain places , because of their chairs or stools . We both love the games , " GO METS" ! ( sigh) and good pub seats are a must . Their " Happy Hour " has food and drink specials. Both . Lunch and brunch specials as well . Their " washroom is " very clean, with plenty of towels , and spacious . Also it's close to TD bank, soo you are able to cash your pay Cheque there, then spend it immediately at " The Quay! Last Saturday I stopped in for lunch. The interior is clean nice and a lively bar section, the dining is separate. It was probably the best omelette I've had in a while, and if you see my Yelp history, you'll see I try a new omelette once a week. It was fluffy and delicious. They didn't skimp on ingredients! The bar space is large and has plenty of high top tables for 4 guests and the restaurant has larger tables in a cozy fireplace setting. The food is really great so it's not typical "bar food". It has a certain elevation - from their truffle fries to lamb chops to crab cakes etc. Drinks are made up to standard and they have plenty of beer, draft and liquor options.
