Stopped by on a Saturday at noon during a heat wave in the area. The bar was nice and cool and the staff was very friendly. Drinks were iced cold. We ordered a burger and a sandwich and both came out quickly and very delicious. Portions were nice as well. Pricing was very reasonable considering the current economic state of our nation. Horrible service & experience. The manager guy (balding with the glasses) had a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge chip on his shoulder.... The bartender in our corner would not pay attention to us until 15 minutes later while newcomers kept receiving service. Didn't tip well, so the manager AGGRESSIVELY CAME OUT & APPROACHED ME PHYSICALLY!! He was very direct and very aggressive. I've been here many times, but after this experience, I would never go here again. I have been a manager, owner, etc of popular places that people venture to. This is NOT the place to go to. If you want disrespect, confrontation, conflict & want male employees to yell disrespectful things at you , then come here. Never coming here again. The white bouncer was extremely confrontational. This is a glorified dive bar with food. Place is big and had pool tables. But the bartender is incompetent, if you Don't know how to make cocktails you shouldn't be behind the bar, have some pride at your craft. Also dude looked funny, like he used the same clipper size for his beard and haircut, it all blended in and he looked hilarious!!!! Took forever to get the check, he seemed over whelmed and rude. They did have food, but if it was cooked by the same expertise as this guy was at making a drink no thanks. It's funny. I was in the neighborhood not too long ago. I grew up in this area, which has always been legend when it comes to Hole In The Wall Joints. My manfriend thinks he knows what those are, but lately when we come up here, I try to prove ours are better examples of dive bars. Sooo, that didn't happen this time. Valencia, which I've taken him to before, was too noisy and busy, so I took us down the street to the corner I used to hang out at before/after bowling nights at AMF. Alas! Fosters is no more. This is very much a good thing. I can walk on the floor and my feet don't stick to it! The pool tables have been re-felted. Probably not by Stu. And, best of all, There's food now! GOOD food. I ordered my usual "boneless wings," which were actually humongo chicken strips bathed in spicy buffalo sauce and a veritable mountain of French fries. B to the F ordered a yummy chicken club. We were probably checked on every fifteen minutes, which wasn't annoying. I think it's cool they're trying so hard to make sure their guests are happy. I have been coming to bars at this location for years. Sully's is the new version and a pretty good one. Pretty impressed with the place. Remodeled and changed up a bit from the previous owner. The place has a clean divey type vibe. The bartenders do a good job getting out to the tables. Service has been great all around. The menu is pretty big. The prices are really good. The wings for example are $10 but you get 10 wings with multiple flavor options that you can mix in an order. Garlic Parm is rocking! So you get what you pay for. The happy hour prices are really really good! Dollar tacos and discounted beer! The tacos are cheap all day Saturday which is cool. They have a 20 cent credit card charge which while no big deal is just a bit strange to me. I guess its just that type of a place? This is a fun bar with good service and a great menu. But it may not be an ideal family stop or as I put in the pic for the faint of heart. There is serious loud heavy drinking environment going on here. Great for me and my my friends, but not for everyone. You can tell its a regulars bar. They are like birds on a wire at the bar during happy hour. Worth a stop at happy hour for sure! read more

I stopped by here on a whim because i was hungry and Sully's popped up on my Google Maps. It just so happened to be Saturday night at about 9pm. Front Door: The two dudes at the front door were serious as can be. Both seemed to be in their late 40s early 50s. One had his hat backwards and hasn't taken off his tapout shirt since High School. The other dude hadn't gotten up off the stool in ten years. No smile. No welcoming greeting. I got the, "who are you?" vibe. Bar: I walked in and grabbed a stool at the bar. A female and male in their 20s offered great service. They were friendly and attentive. I ordered a Corona and four tacos. The tacos were only $1.50 each and it was "bar food", so I was skeptical. Well, the tacos were delicious and I was impressed. They came with a side of sauce that was finger licking good as well. Two thumbs up ! Crowd/Vibe/Atmosphere: I got some "looks" in there. Now, I'd like to think i'm well travelled and open minded. Growing up in the arts, being an athlete, earning a Graduate degree, serving in the Military and traveling around the country/world has sharpened my skills at assessing situations. I even asked myself if my mind was playing tricks on me, but sadly it wasn't. I definitely got a few looks. The crowd ranged from 20s to 40s with a few stragglers in their sixties. It was like an extension of your local football, baseball or cheerleading team from a predominantly white conservative high school. The crowd had a Trump supporter vibe. Not the establishment's fault (I think). The music on the Karaoke machine ranged from Metallica to Journey to Country music. *** The Friday night scene was not my vibe. Having said that, the bartenders/servers were friendly and the tacos were delicious. I'll never go back to this place on a weekend night but i'm willing to come back during the day (low key) to eat more tacos and try other items from their menu. read more

I have been coming here for a couple of years. Service is always exceptional and consistent during the lunch hours. Chris, the Owner, stops in almost every day to check on the place to make sure it's running smoothly and also greets each customer. The ladies at the bar are VERY nice and cordial and remember all the regulars' drinks. 15 beers on tap, full bar, plenty of TVs for sports, the food is outstanding for a sports bar and has more variety than it could be classified as a restaurant. They have an outdoor patio enclosed with 2 TVs with a heater and an AC unit for the different seasons. During COVID they have accommodated all of the state-mandated regulations and still have offered great service. read more
