A little messy but quality was actually pretty good. The picture shows a pretty rough looking gyro but when I bit into it, it had quality ingredients. When I walked in, I honestly thought there was a fire because of how much smoke was in circulating in the building so that was a red flag for me. Another red flag was the presentation of the gyro because It was definitely an eye sore. Besides how it looked, they actually cooked the pita and meat properly, they had great taziki sauce but had no feta cheese. I'm not sure if I would come back here but they had better tasting product then some of the other places I've tried around here for a gyro. read more

This place isn't fancy but it sure has great food. Whenever i am not in a mood to cook or clueless about what to order, I end up ordering from Sultan's Deli. They have great combos and wraps. This was a great spot for a warm lunch on a cold day. At the counter of this bright, clean restaurant, we ordered the Sriracha Chicken Gyro with fries and the Lebanese "Single" Platter with one chicken kabob. Within ten minutes, our food arrived and we were happy. The Lebanese Platter included a well-spiced, perfectly-cooked chicken kabob, accompanied by three small falafel, fresh warm pita, hummus, baba ghanoush and tabouleh. My friend said the combination of the sriracha chicken and tzatziki in the gyro was "unusual, but very good." Sultan's is at the Beaver Creek shopping center, between Five Below and Dollar Tree. It's just down from the theater, and it's a good, affordable, convenient place for lunch or a casual dinner. read more

Excellent gyros. Taziki sauce, pistachio baklava, service, and seating! The gyro sandwich bread is the classic soft bread as it should be. The taziki sauce is tangy, thick, cucumbery shreds... just great! I got extra sauce but really didn't need it. Made it a meal with Greek salad with Greek dressing. I went here with my sister and we both got the lunch special. She got the original and I got the chicken but asked that they do a chicken and falafel mix which they did. The gyro was fantastic. Falafel had a nice crunchy crust and the chicken was moist. I didn't think that the original would be better but I tried it and it was at least just as good and maybe even a little better. The only minor criticism I have is that the salad had a little too much dressing on it. But it did taste fresh. Everything was nice and filling and value was great for $8! read more

Food is on point. I absolutely love when one of their chefs makes burgers. That's definitely always my go to, but not always available. Also the fries are to die for. So simple, but SO GOOD. Always great to grab takeout or dine in. They are open for dine in during Covid. Indoors and outdoors! I took off a star only because they could be slightly cleaner with how they run in a pandemic. Busy Saturday afternoon we were driving by. We ordered their falafel as an appetiser and also a falafel wrap. Took some baba ghanouj and hummus with Pita. The falafel was the best extremely good. Crunch on the outside and soft (not too dense) on the inside The falafel sandwich was very flavourful. The hummus was slightly bald, perhaps missing some seasoning including salt. I try and make my rounds to this restaurant every once in a while. The inside looks like it was furnished with hand me down tables and chairs. The soda machine also looks like it's a hand me down. However the gyro "Original" tastes great. They give you a choice of Mediterranean salad or French fries with your meal. read more

The quality! It's there from the first `til the last bite, you'll like it, if you're into FRESH and AUTHENTIC Mediterranean food that is. (Of course you are, that's why you're reading this). Great location, plenty of parking spaces, very friendly staff and, of course, delicious made to order food, makes this restaurant one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Apex, NC. Adding Sultan's Deli into our rotation of take out places. Located in Beaver Creek Commons near(ish) 5 Below and The Dollar Tree. They offer a smaller menu of classic street fair Greek food. You can find items like falafel, gyros, dolmas and baklava here. A chicken kabab with tzatziki sauce and hummus is a filling meal for me. I believe the lunch special was about $8 that included a soda. It is a more casual atmosphere so I envision shoppers stopping here for lunch or doing take out like our family. read more

Above average when you look at Mediterranean style places within a 5 to 7 mile radius, but when you look at the aggregate in the rdu area it's average. Right off the start, walking into the establishment was amazing. The aroma of the cooking food will make you salivate. The sultans were vary fast at preparing and got the food out in a timely manor. I wish I could give them 10 stars! I've made the rounds at the Med/Greek deli-style restaurants like this because it's one of my dad's and my favorite cuisines. We saw the reviews and decided this was a must the next time we were in the area. THANKS YELPERS!! Did NOT disappoint. We got the Lebanese kabob platter (double) with a chicken and a lamb/beef skewer and a side of grape leaves. Everything on the plate was absolutely delicious and fresh. This platter also had falafel, which in the past, I could take or leave because they are usually dense as a brick. These falafels were THE BEST I have ever had... hands down, mic drop. I will be back for those alone. The grape leaves were tender and delicious. The kabobs had loads of flavor and weren't dry at all - the lamb/beef kabob was the best of anywhere in the area we've had yet. Plenty of food for my dad and me to split the platter, and the price was great! We may order two meals next time so that we can have lunch the next day. The staff was super friendly not just to us but to everyone there. They had a genuine sense of gratitude for their customers and wanted to help them find the perfect meal combination for each. We even told them we would like more wine but they never came back with it. We would've bought 4-5 bottles of wine that evening had someone come back to check on us. Instead, we just sipped our waters until we were ready to leave. The food was honestly mediocre all around. The lamb was overcooked and inedible, the eggplant dish was over salted, etc. We liked our dips platter, but it came with a tiny bowl of pita and like three pieces of celery for $24, so most of the dips went uneaten. If someone had asked if we needed more pita or vegetables we would have said yes, even if we had to pay for it. But nobody did. I could go into more details (mansplaining and some belittling all around), but it's not really important. We realized there are restaurants in Chapel Hill that we'd rather visit in the future. It's just so beautiful with soaring ceilings, enormous plants, unique lighting fixtures and exposed brick, all making you feel like you're dining in a sultry Mediterranean courtyard, one that is climate-controlled, (appreciated on a blazing hot afternoon). The have a lovely shaded patio, too, if you really are looking to dine outside. The menu is also a sight to behold and there is something for every taste and diet (GF, Vegan/veg all noted on the menu). There's so many enticing vegan options! I ordered the hummus which was very good and a phenomenal fattoush salad made next level with those pickled grapes-- unlike any fattoush salad I'd ever had before. I appreciated the wine and cocktail lists, although I was not ready to imbibe at that time of day. Some great offerings there. And I also want to give kudos to our excellent waitress and the entire staff that thanked us and said goodbye when we left. It was just the perfect touch of hospitality.

Just went to this new place 'Sultan's' in Beaver Creek near the movie theater. I was pleasantly surprised. The place is clean, roomy and well lit. I ordered a classic gyro platter...the gyro had a superb blend of vegetables...there were sun dried tomatoes, caramelized onions, peppers, not just lettuce and tzatziki sauce that you get in other places. As sides I had a fresh and tasty Greek salad and a hot side dish of lentil w/rice and onions that came with a tangy side dressing. The owner was friendly and engaging and gave me a free side dish of eggplant salad while I waited for my order. It's a new place and I recommend giving it a try. This area sure could use another family friendly restaurant and I hope Sultans is here to stay. read more

Hands down, the best fries in Apex, I don't know how they do it, but their fries deserve the highest of awards. Consistently crispy and incredibly flavorful. And that's before mentioning their wraps, I haven't experienced their platters so I cannot speak to that, but their falafel is impeccable, and their gyros are flawless. I would very highly recommend the Sriracha chicken gyro as it is my personal favorite. The staff is so welcoming and so consistently friendly. It feels like a little slice of home. The most consistent restaurant that I frequent in Apex. I wish I could give them more starts than five. read more

I placed my order and got to the register and then the very nice girl that was there was going to ring me up. She wasn't sure how to manually enter my credit card information that I needed to give, so she asked what I'm going to assume was her manager or whoever was in charge that day? The woman turned around and looked at me as if I walked in and started in her face. Her face was so disgusted, twisted up, and snarled with disapproval. She asked me, with a huge attitude, "what was going on here?". I politely explained the situation, which is that, at the Cary location our company pays over the phone when I arrive. I handed her the phone to give her the credit card information and she was speaking to my boss (who is a very world-renowned doctor) about the payment info. She was so rude to him and said "well usually we don't do this but we'll do it this time". Not sure if it was because they were served cold or the ingredients in general. Finally, I completed my meal with a piece of pistachio baklava. Now, I've never really like baklava, but something told me to give the pistachio one a try. OMG, I have a new favorite dessert.
