Ok just bought a TOSTADA MIXTA from here and let me tell you I was already expecting the worst! For my 2nd time ordering at this place recently last week and now, but over the phone. The 1st time was eating indoors, THE WAIT TIME WAS OVER BOARD! FOR JUST 1 TACO DE BIRRIA AND 1 CONSOME!? MY HUSBAND CAUGHT UP AND ORDERED, 2 TACOAS AL GOBERNADOR & SAME THING! Noticed other guy walked in, poor man was not acknowledged or seated he sat himself menu took 4 ever to be delivered, he then had to get the waitresses attentin to come take his order. So I didnt like my 1st visit at all, food was ok then. Second time was over the phone, so the waitresses or who ever is in charge of the phone didn't even answer the phone at all. I called about 5 times before some one answered and hung up! The next 3 calls same shit like bro no one out their trying make business or what!? I guess they arent serious with ppl trying to call in an order over the phone. Finally a woman answered, I said I'd like to place a phone order and immediately she hit me back with I can't hear you, that shit made me loose it, so I raised my voice and told her straight out that someshits wrong with their phones then! Cuz it sure aint MINE, I been calling your place and ppl keep answering and hanging up! Proper shit to do is answer, and at least put me on hold pero NA! She gave me attitude, but I bounced it back like I mentioned! I placed and order just cuz they are the closest seafood place 2 me and because I wanted to give it a second shot, plus was mad starving since I skipped lunch! My husband picked up my food, and I tell you $14.00 something was not sitting with me, for the lil pieces of shrimp n ect of sea food they sold me/gave me! My God in Santa Ana or any other MARISCO PLACE for that price and up, I get a decent amount of food plusvjam packed with fine chopped veggies like tomatoes, cucumber, cilantro, onion, and get good ass customer service ! Ordered via DoorDash, came to us and was still really good. The super quesadilla and the Cancun roll were the favorites... the spicy edamame had good flavor but was over steamed probably from the delivery drive. Overall very good and would eat here again! I wasn't impressed , usually I take a picture of my food but this time I didn't want to take one. I ordered the aguachili and the shrimp was still very raw. I waited for about30 minutes for them to cook in the lime chili sauce but never did. Maybe not enough lime juice to cook ? So had to order a birria taco which was ok. The michelada was good. NEGATIVE stars need to be allowed. Customer service was good but the food, that's another story. Went with my family & I am just going to tell you about my food. I ordered the Shrimp taco enchilado & a quesabirra taco. Food came out & my plate had my shrimp taco & my hubby's marlin taco. I was unaware that his taco was on my plate, it looked like birria. I went to take a bite of my shrimp taco & noticed a foul stench. Pulled out 1 of the 3 small pieces of shrimp & oh lord, I kid you not, it smelt like it had been rotting for days. Moved along to what I thought was my quesabirra taco, took a bite & instantly had to spit it out in my napkin. The marlin was so stank & rotten tasting. I'm not a fish fan but I know that fish should not smell or taste like that. The health department needs to make a stop by here. Guarantee you they will fail bad. My husband and I went to their norco location today at 6:00pm for dinner since we weren't able to dine there the first time we attempted (I'll tell the story on that a little later). When we arrived, the place was pretty empty, just one other table was dinning (3 people). As we walked in, a young lady told us to pick any table we wanted and proceeded to tell us that they were out of rice for the evening. Mind you, this is a Mexican sushi spot combined with tacos and seafood plates. I was a bit puzzled as they don't close until 8pm so there was plenty of time for them to prepare more sushi rice the minute they knew they were running low on rice. We sat down anyways and told my husband just to pick something from their non sushi menu side. Another couple came in right after us and decided on a table they wanted. We noticed they said nothing to them about being out of rice or anything and also brought chips and salsa to their table right away. I looked at my husband and told him if he wanted to go somewhere else we could, so we got up and left. Mind you, the young lady who greeted us never checked up on us. As we walked out, I asked my husband that I was going to give it about 10 minutes and call in a phone order for a sushi roll just to see if they were just discriminating against us. Low and behold, I called and place an order for the aguachiles roll and the same girl who told us they were out of rice asked me if I wanted to add anything else to the order. Just to clarify, I asked if the aguachiles roll was made with rice and she said YES!! I was shocked. My husband took the phone from me and he asked to speak to a manager. They tried to change the story to save themselves. For reference, we are an inter-racial couple and the couple that walked in after us was Latino. I'm starting to wonder if this was intentional (preferentially treatment). We are hoping to hear back from the owner, and not on yelp, by phone. The first time we went there we booked through open table for a Valentine's dinner at 8pm. When we got there at 7:40pm, the same girl we dealt with today, hurried up and locked the door and turned the open sign off. My husband knocked and she told him they were closed. Now, we weren't aware they closed at 8pm because open table had their hours of operation until 9pm I believe. He tried explaining that to her but she didn't care. We ended up going elsewhere It's safe to say that we personally don't recommend this place based on their service. I can't speak on the food since we never had a chance to try it. I've been reading a lot of the reviews on here and it looks like the norco location has had bad service since they opened and hasn't fixed the problem. At what point is the owner going to do something about this, unless she wants her business in norco to fail. Just remember, word of mouth can be make or break a business. I suggest she takes this in consideration and does something about it since it's not a new complaint, It's been well over a year. read more

Let me start from the beginning, first you walk in and the place is empty, and the music is so loud you can't hear even have a conversation with the person in front of you. I asked the staff if it was going to be this loud the whole time I was here and she said YES??? I asked if they would turn it down and they did till I placed my order, then back on blast !!! The person controlling the music sat behind me laughing with his hat on backwards. The food we ordered was two rolls and spicy edamame, the spicy edamame was amazing, the rolls however were terrible, they fell apart multiple times. Go here often. Food is enjoyable. My only frustration is they bring out the food slowly which no biggie but, everything comes out Separately. Due to this, they forget to bring items you ordered and because of this, you tend to forget you ordered something. Example: we went yesterday early in the day wasn't Too busy during our visit. Me and my husband tend to order a bunch of random items and share what we order to try different things. We ordered 4 sushi rolls, vampiro, quesadilla, fries, birria fries, and longostinos. The fries and quesadilla came out first, approx 15 mins later the longostinos come, then the birria fries approx 5 mins later. After about 20 mins of waiting on our additional items, my husband asked to just place the remainder of our order to go, we were full and it was getting late. The girl brought us back 3 sushi rolls we paid and left. Hours later we realize hey! They never gave us the vampiro and other roll. Our fault for forgetting we ordered this and didn't keep up with it. They sure didn't forget to charge us for it all though.
