The gym was spacious, included an indoor/outdoor pool & waterpark, had a bag area, and plenty of machines and weights. Their facility was clean and did not appear crowded. They close at 6 pm on Sat, which is not something I am used to. My gym in Ca closes at 11pm on Sat & 10 pm on Sundays.

It needs to be open longer on the weekend. How am I supposed to work out when I don't even get done running errands until 6?

Child care is negligent. My three-year-old child was locked in a bathroom because he had had a…read more"bathroom accident". The door was shut and employees were not anywhere near the door. Just left him screaming for 15 minutes!!!!!! They couldn't find me because the information about where I would be working out was on his sticker, which was LOCKED IN THR BATHROOM WITH HIM!!!!! By the time I got to him, he had no idea why he was locked in a bathroom all by himself. He was SHAKING and hysterically crying, snot everywhere, and so confused and scared! I am absolutely appalled that they could do this to a 3 year old child. He had absolutely no idea what was going on. What if there had been a fire? Would they just leave my child locked in that bathroom? What if he had fallen down? Would they just leave him by himself bleeding until they found me?! I have no confidence that Apex Center can take care of children after what I just saw. I will be reporting this to the state. Absolutely negligent! I would never recommend the Kid Care here. Absolutely appalling. He has not stopped crying and has snot in his hair, and in his eyebrows from being left in that bathroom scared and alone. He was shaking and screaming with snot falling to the floor --- that's how I found my baby! No workers near the door, no one checking on my 3 year old! I am appalled and my child was traumatized. They also had a sand box with a manual excavator that slightly older (5+) kids could play with and the variety of slides, climbing bars, and swings were nice for all different ages. The grass around the playground was well kept so the kids ran around playing tag and hide-and-seek with no problem. Lots of parking and a community pool is attached to this playground. It does say something about HOA so I'm not sure what they require for you to enjoy this amenity but it looked pretty nice, too.

It's shaded from the sun and set in a nice little green area. There's a scooper excavator where you can dig in the sand. Next to the playground is a small pavilion with two picnic tables, and there is easy parking. I can't speak for the pool, it's an HOA pool which I'm not part of. Initially, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly Emerald Waters Pool completed our pool installation. Unfortunately, we soon realized the speed came at the expense of doing the job correctly. The biggest issue was that the required city inspections were never completed before construction moved forward. Will advanced the project all the way to the final inspection, where the city rejected the entire project. We then spent approximately two and a half months waiting for everything to be corrected and approved before we could finally move forward with the plaster. Even after receiving city approval, the problems continued. The site had not been properly prepared before the plaster was applied, resulting in it having to be installed twice. Then, just three weeks after installation, the color began fading, which was clearly not normal. We contacted Will about the issue but never received a response. We also discovered that the waterfall was installed off-center, another quality control issue that should have been caught during construction. In addition to the pool, we hired Emerald Waters Pool to install a patio and walkway. The workmanship was disappointing. The pavers was neither straight nor level without constant supervision, and we had to insist that sections be redone because they were not installed correctly. To make matters worse, some of the additional work we paid for was never completed. It is also worth noting that the work performed outside of the pool installation was never covered by a written contract, which appeared to avoid documenting that portion of the project. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Emerald. Between the missed inspections, poor workmanship, lack of communication, and incomplete work, the project became far more stressful and time-consuming than it should have been. We strongly encourage anyone considering this company to continue their search for a builder that prioritizes quality, communication, and accountability.

We paid $5 per person to swim inside. The huge hot tub area is my favorite but with young kids with us I wasn't able to enjoy it more than 5 minutes. The little lazy river is fun and the toddler area with the slides is also very fun. The changing rooms are nice and clean and have a family one which made it easier for use ladies to change with our young male kids. They have this drying machine in there that is out of this world!! I've never seen one of these before and I recommend any community pool business to get one. After changing you can add your wet swimsuit in it, close the lid and hold it down for 8 seconds and it spins all the water out.
