This place is a gem!!!! Can in on a Friday afternoon for lunch. With plenty of parking it was definitely nice. Anyways we sat down and were immediately greeted with menus and cold water. Our waiter/bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable on the ingredients that were being used in every single entrée that we had questions about. We decided to split the burger flight tasting and get muscles as well. I would say this is the best place to get them in Colorado Springs. They also had plenty of cocktails and other batteries we used to pick from and definitely a cozy environment. Can't wait to go back and bring all of the friends with.

I don't know how anyone can say the food here is bad - I love just about everything here! The owners are amazing and accommodating. It definitely passes the vibe check. Trivia every Sunday night is so much fun - come try to beat me - I dare you!

We have visited Summa around 2 pm on a Saturday, and they happen to have brunch hours. So, the New Mex Stew and Blintze had a twist. I added an egg in the stew upon request, and the Blintze had fried chicken alongside. They were both very delicious, highly recommend.

The food was horrible. The service was atrocious- the bar tender was so high it took him 10min to make 1 drink. I will never come back here. We had the fried chicken- very dry. Chips and queso- GRRROOSSS worse than store bought. Hummus plate- lame and hummus didn't have good consistency I forgot what I had in a bowl that was on the menu however they didn't have all the ingredients so they offered me something similar. It tasted terrible. I don't know how this place is open. With all the good restaurants in springs, they won't last long. I don't recommend this restaurant .

The food was excellent!!!!! We ordered the fried chicken crepes which has a mushroom cream sauce to die for. I order the cheesesteak..... YUMMM!!!! The drinks were on point. I'm not a Bloody Mary fan, but this mix was great. The old fashion was perfectly balanced.

My stars are always about the food. Friendly neighborhood pub with KILLER bites. Second visit over two visits to Colorado Springs. The fried chicken? Welp, as a lifelong midwesterner, I know my fried chicken. This plate is as good as they get. Loaded summa pots- a must. I had every intention of eating 1/2 both. Yeah, didn't happen. Summa is on my permanent recommendation list and I WILL be back.

Scotch Old Fashioned, much different taste but very good.

We go there almost every Tuesday at four. They remember who we are and what we drink. We're all Medicare old and usually only ones at that time. They turn the music off or way down for us.

The outside of the restaurant was interesting enough. Then from the moment we stepped inside it felt we had been there before just from the hospitality we received from Tasha. We shared we were in Colorado Springs for the Earl Klugh Weekend of Jazz. She gave honest opinions and suggestions about the menu. We decided on the Spanish Oxtail and Chicken and Wine Pot Pie. They both were delicious! We shared with Scottie the chef how much we enjoyed the meal. See videos and pics below.

Perfect location in Old Colorado, this rustic bar has a large variety of craft beers on tap. We came for the food and were not disappointed. While discussing options with our waiter, we learned we were talking with the cook. I truly believe he created the menu with love. My husband has the chicken pot pie. It was a cute crock filled to the top with a very coq au vin style stew. At first he thought he mistakenly received beef, it had a rich hearty flavor. I enjoyed a wonderful "Blintzini"; a mushroom filled crepe in a fantastic bleu cheese sauce, and the crepe was really full. We also had a side of the loaded pots. Small potatoes crispy on the outside and so fluffy on the inside. I want to come back for the creole chicken.

My new happy hour place! Loved the daily drink which was a pineapple jalapeño margarita. My husband had the Monster Brewing Stunt Double Lager, yum! The food was fantastic. We had the hummus, mini burgers and the New Mex Stew. Everything was excellent. Service was great! ( if you don't like crowds go during the middle of the week early)

Thank you Holly for taking care of us!…read more I have been to Ryze a few times now and enjoy spending time here. You can't beat the views and the food and drinks are great. When you first review the menu, it will seem like most of it is smaller portions or small bites but I've never left here hungry. From my most recent visit, I had the adobo chicken, it came on 3 drumsticks. I was hesitant to order it because drum sticks can be messy and I had on a lighter color outfit. Happy to say the chicken easily came off the bone with a fork and was tasty. Be sure to book a reservation because it can get busy!

My wife and I came here just for no particular reason other than we wanted to try it. I had no…read moreexpectations, but even if I had they would've been exceeded. First, walking in, it feels upscale. Not to the point of being uncomfortable, but everyone there was dressed nicely, particularly for Colorado Springs. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are relatively small, which explains why you basically need a reservation if you want to spend some time there. Our server was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. He explained some of the food and drink options for us and we took our pick. Overall the food was quite good. The burger was exceptional, and cooked perfectly. The crudité is tasty, but nothing all that special. The adobo chicken is good, but not adobo at all. The drinks though... For my first drink I opted for an Old Fashioned. It's become my go-to drink for higher end restaurants and lounges... and Ryze knocked it out of the park. After I finished my drink, about midway through my meal, I was craving something a bit different and ordered a Ryze from the Ashes. Holy. Friggin'. Moly. Different indeed. I've never tasted anything like it, and so I don't really know how to explain it, but "from the ashes" is very appropriate. It has a strong smoky flavor to it which, I'm willing to bet, would pair nicely with a cigar. It also paired nicely with the burger and fries that I had, thankfully. If you're driving north on Cascade there's parking just before the building, so you can dip right in there and then just walk in, get your card from the front desk guy, and be on your way.

I will say we sat under the stairs so lady... be careful you can see right up peoples outfits when they are coming down. Should definitely consider tinting those windows. If you're sitting at the bar you can see the window where your food comes up -- our salad and fries both sat there about ten minutes before anyone brought them the ten feet over to us. Not a huge deal, but it's a little cruddy sitting there thinking "I'm pretty sure that's ours" and waiting. The ambiance is very dark, with a lot of stairs up and down -- you head into sort of a basement-type area. Everything I saw was clean and nice. It's a cool, funky spot to take a date or hit for happy hour, so the vibe and ambiance are definitely spot on for that. Signature cocktails -- all fine. Not the best thing ever, but solid. I'd have them again. Side salad -- good. The ranch is made in house and very flavorful, and the salad was actually loaded with veggies. French fries with garlic aioli -- a bit of a letdown. We didn't even finish them. They came out okay, just a little dry, and the aioli itself wasn't very good -- we didn't really like it. Pro tip: The entrées looked pricey, which is why we stuck to snacking at the bar -- and after the fries came out, we were fine calling it there and eating elsewhere. Overall, would recommend for happy hour, and would return.
