Had an issue with a leaking fridge and used the Yelp feature to send out multiple requests. SummerFridge was not the first to respond but they were the first to respond with a message that looked like they actually read what my request was about. Texted with Omar and got a technician scheduled same day to take a look. At the end of the technician visit, I received an update with a detailed description of what was wrong (with pictures ) and how they would fix it. They didn't have the parts on hand, so the fix was scheduled the next day. Got it all fixed the following day and confirmed it was working normally and they sent me an invoice to my email and I paid through their convenient payment options. Our 5'year fridge kept tripping our breaker and we had Omar come out to check it out. He evaluated our fridge and adjusted a few things. The fridge was okay for a few days but then it tripped the breaker again. If I remember correctly he replaced or adjusted the main board. Again the fridge was okay but then it tripped the breaker a 3rd time. This time, he turned off the ice maker which seems have been the issue. He followed up with us a few days later and I let him know the fridge has had no issues. He offered to replace or fix the ice maker but we declined. Omar was incredibly helpful. Omar is the MAN!!!! He saved me. He promptly contacted my Liebherr Parts Department to order what I needed. His lines of communication are smooth and timely. He let me take videos when he was explaining to me how things work, like the automatic ice defroster. He took an extraordinary amount of time with me and explained things to me about my refrigerator I didn't know. He never displayed any impatience, although I doubt he gets impatient; he's such a calm and even-tempered fellow. He did not have to go the extra mile and yet he did! Our freezer started to not be completely frozen, so I reached out to Summer Fridge and one other company based on the positive Yelp reviews here. Summer Fridge responded within a half hour, and offered a time for the following day; the other company, since I was in Walnut Creek, couldn't offer a time until the following week so I went with Summer Fridge. Omar had excellent communication, gave us a window of time but then in the morning made the time within that window definitive, and arrived exactly on time. He also had booties at the ready for coming inside, which we appreciated since we do not wear shoes in our house. He repaired our freezer and explained the problem (plus replaced a drain that had been backing up for free), and hopefully, since our freezer is 13 years old, it lasts a few more years. I had thought Our backyard fridge was completely dead but replacing the exact fridge was outrageously expensive. So I inquired to see if there was a possibility to repair it. Omar scheduled the inspection the next day. It needs Freon (I've never heard of a fridge needing Freon) so he left to get Freon came back that afternoon and it's back up and running. Okay, so our ice maker stopped working years ago. We had people come out several times and they could not figure out how to fix it. After having every part replaced it still didn't work. Fast forward to two weeks ago, our fridge stopped cooling and our water dispenser stopped working. So we called summer fridge and they came out (sorry I don't know the guy's name because my husband was the one handling it) and within minutes he figured out our problem, not only did he fix the cooling and water dispenser he fixed our ICE MAKER!!!! The freezer of my Liebherr fridge wasn't cooling and I needed to get it diagnosed since I didn't know if this would also affect the refrigerator part as well. I researched and received quotes for appliance repair service nearby but the majority of them didn't service Liebherr or the ratings for others who did made me hesitate. I found Summer Fridge on Google as well as yelp as a good option. Although he services the east bay, Omar was able to travel into the City for a small fee and diagnose the issue (the evaporator fan was dead). He was able to come in within the week with the part and now it's working properly and I haven't had any issues since.
