I have been to this location twice and felt disappointed in what I have gotten. In the fall, I got one of their seasonal pumpkin drinks and recently we got a cortado and quarter moon latte (iced). Both the seasonal drink and quarter moon were extremely milky and just felt unbalanced. The cortado was decent but not amazing and felt a bit more bitter than other ones I have had. The ambiance is reminiscent of a classic suburban coffee shop in a good way with a large amount of seating making it great to meet up with others. I don't have Summer Moon anywhere near me, so anytime I'm in a city with one, I have to check it out. This location is fine, but it seemed more like a grab and go spot than somewhere to hang out. The coffee was as expected, and they weren't busy, so I was in and out without too much trouble. Now, they are in the same lot as a brunch place, so I was worried that parking could be an issue, but I managed to miss the brunch rush, so it was fine. Good option for your daily coffee read more

Popped in after visiting another establishment in the area and I must say, this is a cute little spot. For meeting people to grab a drink or for getting some work done, this establishment offers a cozy spot with some great drinks/food to go along with it. I was a little torn when I came in and wasn't sure what I wanted. I spoke with the barista and told her what I liked and what I was thinking about and she suggested the Apple latte hot. My matcha was not too sweet (in fact, almost not sweet at all, which is nice because I can control how much I add)... there was a lot of staff on a Saturday early afternoon and they all seemed kind. The coffee and service are always good here. The milk is sweet and delicious. I didn't give it a 5-star rating because I could see that the counters where the baristas worked were not cleaned each time anything was used. It is so easy. The sink I could see was dirty, too. The grinders needed straightening and wiping down and the coffee grains were you press for an espresso was really messy and thick on the mat and the counter. Most coffee shops are kept cleaner than this one. The outside seating area needs sweeping to get up old leaves, scraps of paper, and cigarette butts. Some tables need to be balanced and wiped down (and repainted). On a hot sunny day, all of the umbrellas need to be opened by staff. The coffee counter is busy with taped down ads, too. I've been to Summer Moon several times and they have consistently poured a good drink each time. I am a sucker for marketing, so I try whatever drink is seasonal or featured. As a normal order, I get the iced winter moon (espresso, skim?, and moon milk). The moon milk is a homemade signature sweet cream. It offered a perfect medium sweetness to the drink. I am not a huge coffee person and not a fan off commercial style coffee shops. I do think this place does it right though and it's so cute. The staff was super helpful, very friendly, and I noticed they were team players with one another while enjoying their day at work. The adorable lady (forgot her name) recommended the Autumn Moon special on the chalkboard and it was so rich, creamy, and flavorful. I enjoyed it a lot. Also, the food items are unique, fresh and looked so delicious. The egg bites are a 2-3 bite not a one but. I'm not a donut person but I almost got one because it looked scrumptious. The result far exceeded my expectations and has placed Summer Moon right on my list of great coffee shops.
