Came here to study on a Sunday night and the atmosphere, decor, and designs were really nice and homey. The lighting was perfect and there were a good amount of tables to study at. Some are quite small but I didn't have a problem with that. The only problem I had here was that the WiFi wasn't working at all. My phone, laptop, and iPad weren't able to connect and I came here to study so it was quite difficult. Hopefully, they find a better service or get it fixed! For the menu, I got the matcha moon and it was yummy! It was a bit sweet so I asked for extra ice and it balanced it out well! Will come back to try more on the menu! read more

My favorite coffee place ever! I used to live in Austin and go to the original location. When I decided to move to Houston, the first thing I searched for was Summer Moon, and actually based my housing around how close it was to a Summer Moon (yeah, kinda obsessed with this place). I can't live without it. I've had many drinks from here, but my go-to is always the Hot Half Moon Latte. Can't go wrong with that one, perfect balance of strong and sweet. I don't like my coffee too sweet, and even though the Moon Milk can be sweet, this place always seems like get it perfect. I also like the Hot 1/4 Mocha Moon Latte. The Espresso Milkshakes are fun during the summer. The taste is always consistent at this location and the employees are friendly. Would be a great place to work remotely. The music is nice and the atmosphere is peaceful, but not too quiet. It still has a lively vibe. I wish they would expand in Houston/Katy more but understand that it will take time. This morning while I ate breakfast, I searched for a local coffee spot because my usual one is closed Monday through Wednesday. I came across a few of them and then I settled on Summer Moon. Sight unseen, I drove there and my first thought when I walked in that door was "WOW! This place is beautiful!" Unsure where to place my order I cautiously and Inquisitively I approached the counter where the baristas worked. Without making any eye contact or a simple greeting I stood there lost. I asked a customer where I could place my order since there wasn't anyone else able to help me figure that out. I found the area of the counter where you place your order and asked a few questions and the nice woman who helped me place my order and I ordered a large Blue Moon with oat milk. While I waited, I was able to wander around and capture a few pictures. As I stated earlier, this place is beautiful. The Blue Moon with oat milk was pleasant and has a smooth flavor. Next time, I will probably add 2 extra shots I nit to give it more of a coffee flavor. I personally like strong coffee so in order to satisfy that craving I will definitely need to add to it. Then before leaving, I hoped of some sort of "Thank you have a nice day" or "Thanks" or even just a head nod. The barista didn't even look up. I walked away from the counter and then I stopped and told him, "Have a great day" because I should be the one who customer service skills in this setting, I think to myself sarcastically. Gave a review to the West 7th local and had to give another to the S Main locale. They have a much bigger outdoor space if that's what you need, with some outdoor space. And the selection and staff is top-notch just like the West 7th Sumer Moon. The atmosphere is conducive for friendly banter and making a new friend. Their drip coffee is probably my favorite in Fort Worth. Give them a try when you need a coffee shop to frequent and you'll be glad you did. read more

It was my first time coming in on a Saturday evening. I really was looking for a quiet place to respond emails and catch up on some work. To my surprise, this place was really packed and no where to sit. My husband and I are on a search to find the best coffee in the Fort Worth area and this is definitely a contender!! To begin, my husband and I have visited the Summer moon in Keller and didn't LOVE it. We thought it was wayy too sweet, but realized there are so many options to customize drinks that they really didn't explain to us. We visited this location during the grand opening and everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable and explained the different drinks and levels of sweetness to us so well! We both found drinks we love. My drink of choice is the Wintermoon 1/4 with almond milk and his is the cold brew 1/2 moon. The coffee flavor is SO rich and has so much depth definitely because of the method of roasting (wood fired). The moon milk is very sweet so finding your level (whole, 1/2, 1/4) is definitely important here! The moon milk makes it so unique though and it makes it worth coming back time and time again! The environment is so great for meeting with friends or working on your computer though it is pretty busy often times and not the MOST quiet place so I prefer it for talking with friends or stopping in to grab a coffee. I love how it has great easy parking right behind the building. It's in an up and coming area as well and is definitely a great location for a new coffee shop in this area! Highly recommend. The only downside of Summer moon is the price but it is to be expected with such a unique coffee and "cream." read more

We had our Book Club here today at 2pm and I like that this location is 2 story. I tried the Espresso Milkshake 16 oz and it's delicious. I had whipped cream on top and it was so good, I will probably order this again the next time I go. I was disappointed that they were sold out of chocolate croissants but maybe next time. I will try showing up earlier than club meeting time. They do have yummy macarons though in several different flavors. I was also disappointed that with the awesome park bench seating upstairs they have it set up where you can only sit on one side. Because of Covid-19 the other bench is taped off. It seems silly when you go downstairs and there is a round top near one of the doors with 4 chairs around it, closely spaced and it was filled with people. I didn't quite get the logic and our book club arranged ourselves somewhat awkwardly upstairs because of it. Staff is always super friendly! This has been my go-to coffee shop since it's opened. I don't think it's worth making it four stars, but I wish they'd put extra ice in the iced drinks. I ask every time and half the time it's ignored. Most of the time the iced drinks are only just above room temperature. I heard glowing reviews about Summer Moon from my friends, and my opinion is a bit mixed. I think this place is going to be my go-to for chai lattes, as both the iced vanilla and spiced chais are excellent, but I wasn't as big a fan of the moon milk as I expected to be. Everyone describes it as melted ice cream, but when I got the half moon latte, it actually tasted more creamy and buttery, almost, rather than sweet, and I found it masked the taste of the espresso to where I couldn't really get a good sense for what makes the wood-fired espresso special. I'll probably try their drip coffee someday to assess that better--but in the meantime, I really love the chai lattes here! The spiced chai has the perfect balance of warm spices, milk, and sweetness, and the vanilla does come through in the vanilla chai. Notably, their iced chais aren't as very cold as iced drinks typically would be, just something to be aware of. This location has street parking out front and along the side of the building, as well as a lot next door. I haven't gotten to stay and study here, but the vibes are immaculate and they have swing chairs on the second floor--how fun!! read more

Was so excited for this new location. When I am in Keller or Frisco I always made a point to stop at those locations for a coffee and most times a pastry. The gluten free lemon blueberry cake is amazing...not a weird texture like most gluten free goodies and the almond croissant is yummy. I get the mocha moon and it's my go to. I love that you can buy the moon milk so I have it for coffee at home in the weekends when I dont want to get out and fo anywhere.
