She was also very knowledgeable, which helps because I have Lipedema (NOT Lymphedema) and many don't know much about Lipedema but she does. BUT their problem at the Snohomish location is the front desk person, Tori. She is incredibly RUDE. First of all, my first appt last week, I walked in, smiled, greeted Tori and said who I was there to see. She frowned, had a grouchy tone of voice, handed me a TON of paperwork to fill out, which I did, and when I was done, told me that Maggie would come get me. Now first of all, besides Tori - please people ... SEND THIS STUFF TO PATIENTS IN EMAIL! For heaven's sake. I have essential tremors so writing is difficult. My husband was with me and had to help me fill all of this out, which included medical history, list of meds, etc. It took me about 20 minutes to fill all this out, which put me at 5 minutes PAST my appt time. :-( Maggie came to get me and things were great them. But then Tori handed me a list of my next 5 appointments when we were on our way out. OHHHH KAYYYY. NO ONE - AT ANY TIME - consulted with me to find out what would be good days and times to come in AND we had to get out of there because my husband had a work meeting to get to. When we got home, we set the list of appts down and forgot about them until Sunday. My bad. BUT ... they were ALL for Tuesdays in the early morning. We normally don't do Tuesday appts when my husband has to go with me because he has to go into the office on that day. He took this day at home for THIS appt. AND I have some medical things that make mornings my WORST time of day. I try to make all my appts after about 11:00 am, later if possible. I am in so much pain in the morning that getting going is insane. So on Sunday we faxed them to cancel all those appts, stating we will call to reschedule. So this morning (Monday) I called. Tori was SO RUDE! When I asked if she got the fax, she didn't even answer me. When I told her I need to delete the these appts and reschedule them, she RUDELY AND STERNLY said "ALL 5 OF THEM!!!" I said "Yes, all 5 of them. Also, Maggie only needs to see me for one or two more appts and then I'm done anyway." (This is because she teaches us how to do MLD at home on our own. This is common with this therapy. So then Tori asked me what time tomorrow I could reschedule for, I was looking at my calendar and finally told her 1:00 pm. THEN she tells me Maggie doesn't have ANYTHING until April 10th. REALLY??? NOW YOU TELL ME!!! How about "Maggie doesn't have anything until April 10th, so what would be your best days and times after that?" Tori has no business working the front desk of ANY business. She gives them a bad name. I have read other bad reviews from people who won't go back to this location BECAUSE OF HER. I won't either. I cancelled all my appts and I will go to another clinic, even though I have to drive twice as far to get there. I know I will be treated well there because I've been there before. I chose Summit because it was closer. But Tori was the straw that breaks the camels back. Summit should find someone else to work their front desk. She is the FACE of Summit in Snohomish and she makes them look VERY BAD.

Everyone she runs into who knows people with knee replacements either is envious of the good job that was done on hers or also has heard about how good Swenson is. Now it's my turn. I teach 2nd grade, so waited for school to be out. My surgery on my right knee was last Wednesday. I was ready to come home on Friday. It's now Monday and I'm getting up and down to the bathroom by myself, can walk short distances, and can manage stairs. I'll go back to him either in December or next June to get my left one done.

I underwent a mild HBOT treatment with him and completed four sessions. I felt significantly worse afterward and was never given a proper explanation as to why the treatment did not work or why my symptoms worsened. I believe I lost a meaningful portion of my quality of life as a result of what I consider a faulty or inappropriate treatment. After these sessions, the clinic stopped responding to my phone calls and emails. This lack of communication was distressing and left me feeling abandoned. I am reaching out in the hope that Purity Integrative Health can help me find clarity, accountability, and closure. The holistic health industry is not simply about positive marketing or appearances--it involves real responsibility. Dr. Dan Morlan also stopped responding to my emails when I attempted to discuss my concerns. Too often, individuals avoid accountability for problems they helped create, and unfortunately, this is not uncommon in medicine. At the time, I considered letting the matter go. However, I now suffer from ongoing and severe brain fog, which I strongly associate with those treatments. No amount of positive or misleading reviews can negate my lived experience. I received another bill on Friday for services from June of last year - well I tell you what, I've never received a bill for these services until now, and they had the nerve to charge me a late fee. It makes me wonder if they are really doing so poorly that they have to send bills years late to cash out on late fees? Do they need the extra $10 that desperately? I have requested a copy of the invoice number and date of the last invoice sent to me and we will see what they say. Overall, the service I received at the old location was good. Extremely tardy front desk and very rude medical assistant. I had to wait for 25 minutes before…read morebeing checked in and seen by the doctor and waited for more than 15 minutes to be checked out. I had to ask them 3 times before they attended to me. People who came after me were attended to before me. This is after canceling my first appointment on Nov 12th just a few hours before the appointment. They just texted me on the morning of the appointment saying my appointment is canceled and I had to call them back twice before I got another appointment and that was more than a month away on Dec 16th. I just saw another review for Dr. Goldsmith that says that she does not show up for appointments and is bad with following up on patients. The reason I went for and the prescription to be sent to my pharmacy was not sent despite calling and letting them know twice. There's no access to the doctor once you are seen. It's also the doctor's responsibility to make sure this is done and it does not seem like they care. After I called and left a message the second time the medical assistant called me and literally shouted at me saying she is done her job and there was an issue with the pharmacy despite me trying to explain that my other doctor sends prescriptions here all the time and I have never had an issue and also the pharmacy going out of their way to check on it. Have never had this kind of experience visiting a doctor's office. People always go out of their way to make the patient comfortable. Will never go back or recommend this clinic to anyone. This is not the way to treat patients who have come to see a doctor for an illness. I never write reviews and never a negative one as I know how hard people work to keep a business running. I had to write this as I don't want any other new patients to undergo this ordeal specially when they are seeking healing for an illness from a qualified doctor's office.
