Went here for my birthday yesterday. I hadn't been here for 9 years. Too long. They seem much bigger than our local Asian buffet. Tons of stuff. I tried to have a little bit of things, since I've lost a lot of weight and want to keep it off. Of what I had, it was very good. They even had some sushi I can eat. I don't eat shellfish. I had a tuna roll, salmon roll, and tamago roll (egg sushi) from that area. Oh, I think they used to have a chocolate fountain near the desserts. It wasn't there. They ask at the beginning what you want to drink. I got raspberry iced tea. They were pretty quick with getting it. The building seems huge! There's a ton of open space, and I think they can accommodate a lot of people. It wasn't crowded. It might have been too early. I like the marble-like tables. read more

Went for lunch on a Friday with siblings, 21.99pp. There was only a handful of tables that came in after us with one right before us. As a result the one server/busser was very attentive and our dirty dishes were whisked away almost immediately. Most things tasted like they were under the death heat lamp for too long and were either dry or just more mushy breading than anything. Only notable items I enjoyed were the green beans, stir fried cabbage and the braised pork trotter, honorable mention to the Peking chicken and the fried chicken. Didn't try the yakisoba station but the veggie yakisoba on the buffet line was just ok. The soup station tasted off, like dish water in a way and ever so slightly fishy in the hot and sour soup. Not a fan. Their sushi station for lunch was heavily underwhelming and honestly not tasty at all. Things weren't fresh and temperature was off, too cold and stiff rolls. Desserts were a variety of panna cotta type cups and some pieces of cake. The key lime pie they brought to the table was grainy with sugar and I could see the oil mark the slice left on the paper plate. Not good. I did enjoy that their ice cream was easily self serve but why the little serving spoons were just all together in a tray and anyone could kinda grab any and all to touch together did make me uncomfortable. Bathroom stall doors are also oddly small and seemed like someone could comfortably stick their entire head under your door if they wanted to. Generally a good experience for eating. Service was a bit slow for water refills. Good variety of foods...but sushi was not the highest quality (salmon was still a bit frozen). Pork ribs were super tender (prime rib roast too)...preferred over beef ribs. Frog legs were nice and tender...and pig feet was nicely stewed. Green beans had good garlic flavor. Dinner priced at about $30/per person. If you buy a gift card before the day you actually dine...you can get a $20 bonus on a $100 gift card. Good experience! read more

Very disappointing today. Arrived at 3:30pm and was charged dinner prices. But the food was cold. The fried rice and fried noodles were empty the entire time. The service was terrible at best. We had to ask for plastic gloves. The waitress/server never came back and asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. I understand that dinner prices start after 3, but at least we should have received dinner food and not leftovers from lunch. That's probably why the food was cold. My little one wanted to go to a buffet for her birthday and tell me why I accidentally came to this one instead of the one I had in mind: Feast Buffet. Anyway, $36 per person and you get a variety of bad food. By bad I mean tasteless, soggy, been sitting out forever because trust me when I say this place is not busy at all. So items will look like it has flavor, but it's just oily. Idk how they creat the illusion but let me give you an example: I grabbed the Asian cucumber salad that appeared to have some spiciness to it, and no flippin flavor. Orange chicken: soggy and gooey af. Chow mein: oily and no flavor. Seriously, even the garlic bread was soggy. Idk how they manage to not make a single tasty food. Not a great experience overall. The first thing we noticed was a leaking ceiling, which already set the tone. The food wasn't any better -- the sashimi was served over ice and came out partially frozen, making it really unpleasant to eat. The handmade rolls were just okay, but the hot dishes tasted like they'd been sitting out for a while. The worst part was the lobster -- oily af and the texture was like rubber, took one bite and spit it out immediately. When I asked for a spoon, the wait staff just kept asking if we were ready to pay instead of helping. I wouldn't go back, but to be fair, the lemonade was actually good. Not worth the stomach ache. They're under new management and this place is a complete SUCCESS! New foods, better options, fresher sushi! All of the above! The drinks come with the cost of the meal and so does the dessert! Don't eat the desserts that's sitting out cause they are fried and hard The fruits were yummy though! Especially the papaya!! MIZUKI is basically the same price as FEAST in Renton,. But Renton provides a much brighter and bigger environment. Went here on a sunday they are not busy at all. I was disappointed food is not warm. Everything is tasteless and you can tell food is not fresh. The crab looks like it was in the freezer for awhile. Mongolian meat looks like its been there for days. I will definitely not come back. read more

Sad to see this place fall to such low standards now. This place use to be poppin' years ago with it's fancy chocolate fondu and AYCE sushi. With better options in the area, this place can't really compete. If you plan to come here, expect some subpar buffet food. Sushi has some very simplistic options and a few rolls drowning in sauce. A lot of their other items in the buffet consists of a variety of stir fried and deep fried items. There's also BBQ options where they'll cut spare ribs for you, but it's mostly dried out and been sitting out for a good while. I can't say this is the best, but it's still edible despite it's mediocrity. I have to say though, this place has me trying to elevate the food by combining stuff together. Like they have this sad looking shrimp Alfredo pasta. I'd combine that with the stir fried broccoli that they got on the other side and add a bit of coconut fried shrimp with it. Now you have something special there! I also like to take the sugared fried bread bun and eat that with ice cream. That's a solid dessert combination, I promise you! I can see myself coming here if I'm hating myself and just want to stuff myself full of food without caring about it being an amazing meal. Yeah, the price is high for what it is, but again, if I'm hating myself and not caring, it's fine. I'd be happy with this kind of comfort food if I have those days. The restaurant has dim lighting as it did years ago. So that hasn't changed. The place is pretty spacious and has a good amount of seats. I would say it would be great for big parties, but because of the quality, you are bound to upset some friends. Visited on a New Years Eve. Food Taste: Food actually tasted decent with nothing outstanding nor too bad. Food Temperature: If you like your food to be cold by the time you are back to your seat, this is the perfect place to go. They probably put on their dishes to warm settings because not 1 food came out hot but rather warm at best. Mongolian Grill: Bland with no taste Sushi: Lots of varieties but freshness is a big issue. Salmon was inedible but yellowtail was fresh. It was a hit or miss in the sushi bar. Seafood: None were fresh (oysters, crabs, shrimps, crayfish), If you like your seafood to be mushy then yes they have done their job. Plates: Some were fairly dirty, not the best. My brother recommended this place that he went to several years ago. He said the food was really good and is reasonably priced. We were visiting Washington, so we ventured to try Mizuki Buffet. Walking in, there is a strong smell of oil. Here, you pre-pay for your meals and beverages (not included) in the front when you first walk in. They walk you to your table and off you go. We had an early dinner, so it was not crowded at all, but it did pick up a time went by. First up, sushi. One section is mostly sushi, a variety of rolls, nigiri, a few hand rolls, and similar. The ikura sushi (salmon roe) is one of my favorite, but this one was not good. It had a metallic taste, not sure if it was old or just not prepared properly, but I had to throw this one away. The other sushi was mostly ok, nothing great. Next, hit up the next section of food, which there is a lot of choices. Note, there was Dungeness crab in what looked like a ginger onion sauce. It looked good, but it was impossible to enjoy. The shells were not cracked, and there is no shell crackers, so you have to rip them apart with your hands. When you finally get some meat, it's dry. I tried a small sampling of a lot of the food, and for the life of me, nothing stood out. Nothing. So, for$23.99, all you can eat Buffet, you can eat a lot at a reasonable price, but the taste and quality are not that good. The atmosphere was pretty nice it felt good, but that's where the good here ended. Start off with the food, it was bad, the sushi was old and the rice tasted like it had been sitting some time. The prime rib was a dull and lifeless grey color, very over cooked, lots of things were over cooked, everything else was either tasteless or cold. There was supposed to be lobster but it was in a big bin with crab legs and the first person to the lobster when they put it out just picked out the three or four pieces and then you had to wait for the next round. I finally got two claws but the butter was out too. Finally I was just too tired to complain and thought I'd grab a desert, take my losses and leave, but when I got to the chocolate rice crispy treats I lifted on up and literally 5-6 gnats flew off it. Mizuki is prolly one of my favorite ACYE buffet in the area. Price is right for what they have on the hot bar. It has many of option from East to West cuisine. I love their sushi selection. They got a lot of different type of sushi roll, handroll, and even sashimi. Going to the hot food selection. They got American cuisine in the far left end corner. Which includes prime rib, spare rib, pasta, garlic, and typical American foods. Moving along to Asian cuisine, they got pretty much seafood, spicy dishes, fried appetizer, and etc. Many to choose from. You will be stuffed when you walk out of there! Not to mention that they got huge selection of dessert as well. Not a sweet tooth so I don't pay much attention. Great service and food! read more

We have been to a lot of different restaurants with all kinds of cultural cuisines (we are a really multicultural family!) We had not gone here prior to Covid19 bc we assumed it was a bit of a splurge, given the size and expected freshness of the food. (We had a young child, one of us still in grad school, etc.) This past year, we had been looking for new restaurant faves again, post Covid19. This was on our bucket list of places to try. So disappointing! Houseflies everywhere. Not that terrible, but it's a blech phobia for me. However, my family members were also yucked out by the food selection. Food dry, clearly sitting out for hours. We admittedly arrived right before the dinner rush (around 4:30pmish), but there was a lot if food they should have tossed, rather than force unfortunate customers to eat. Some places will even close for an hour or so, to address food freshness, but this isn't one of those places. Would some of that food be ok as leftovers? Surely...but I'm not paying for leftovers, I'm paying for fresh food. Sushi made me cautious. Nobody got sick though. But...I absolutely shouldn't have to have a "wait and see" policy for food poisoning when I'm a paying customer. Customer service was meh. Not rude at all, but inattentive. After waiting for quite awhile for them to take our used plates, husband impatiently began stacking them at a nearby empty table. Normally would be disapproving of that blunt reaction to poor service, but it was like the staff expected it? I don't like being put into that position. We were the only customers in there, except for a family that appeared to be acquaintances with staff or owner? Wasn't terribly expensive, but in no way did the food OR service qualify the cost. Solid 3.5, it was actually pretty decent for a Chinese buffet. Most of the food was pretty fresh (with a few exceptions we steered clear from like the tuna at sushi bar and the crab legs were just floating in grease). But all you can eat salmon sashimi?! It was really really good. I think we got lucky, it was fresh from the fridge. Sushi overall good for me and my husband loved it. He also filled up on crawfish and lobster legs, though he said they were kind of greasy. I had the classic orange chicken, fried rice, noodles and Mongolian beef all were very good and I went back for seconds. Service was just ok, but they were always keeping up with cleaning the buffet and clearing tables, so it was no problem to flag them down for refills. SHUT IT DOWN!! Their buffet was terrible! The sushi bar didn't have enough selection or quantity. The rice was "old' and the seafood pieces were questionably fresh. The salad bar...where's the vegetables? The Romaine lettuce was limp and included the butt end of the lettuce with red cabbage. No tomatoes, cucumbers, no spinach...rabbits wouldn't eat it! Terrible Chinese food, roast was too salty and lobster claws/tails were soaked in a greasy sauce. The only good thing there were the Manila steamer clams. The men's bathroom did not have hand soap, no paper towels or even a hand blower! We told them this but there was no apology or action taken. Does the staff not wash their hands? They need to be reported to the Dept of Public Health! After paying for this disgusting dinner, we asked if a senior discount was applied. NOPE! We got the 10% back in cash. Decent Asian-buffet that may or may not hit the mark depending on the day. I've been coming here for several years and note that it has issues with consistency concerning food preparation. On a recent visit, a lot of the hot bar items were lukewarm at best--not a good temperature for baked oysters and fish. Some of the sashimi at the sushi bar did not look fresh. On past occasions, there was a strong smell of bleach or detergent in the soup bowls that marred the taste of the soup. At least they have added brighter lights recently that make the dining room seem less dreary. If the above issues can be addressed on a consistent basis, this has the potential to be a pretty good buffet. But for now, like its oysters, my endorsement is only lukewarm. (2.5 stars). read more

This is a generic Asian buffet with everything from sushi to fried rice to prime rib, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. (Yeah, I know That's not Asian. I don't know why either. ‍) Doesn't really matter though. If you're reading this, you're not going to go anyway. This place is Horrible. The place is dirty. All of the food was sus and the help look like they're victims of human trafficking being forced to work there. On the hot food side, everything was dried out and crusty. The meats were all tough and the rice crunchy. It gets even worse on the sushi side of the restaurant. The avocado was brown and the tuna smelled fishy. Again the rice was crunchy. How long has that sushi been sitting there? I skipped the sushi and just ate some of the dried out hot food. Best news of the night? This was my first time at this buffet, and we came in on a Thursday at about 5PM. They were not busy at all and it's in a pretty big plaza, so parking is not a problem at all. Navigating inside is a bit interesting since there are only a few entrances to access the food from the seating area, which I imagine may be hard when it is busier with more customers. My biggest reason for coming was to eat sushi. The sushi was good, but all the other food did not really appeal to me as much. read more
