Birthday Lunch 3/4 wanted AYCE so we had to sit at the sushi bar. Server literally ignored me (except to tell me I couldn't eat off my parties plates....duh!) When she finally took my order - it took 10 minutes to get my app AND 40+ minutes to get my 1 roll! The rest of my party was literally ready to leave by the time I got it. Sushi Chef Sophia? was amazing with my family, made them great rolls & even did her special "seared salmon" for them. It was the children's father bday & he loved it! She even made a super cute (& delicious) mochi plate with whip & brought it around for him with four! spoons..... When I got bill , I saw that they charged a 3% service fee and a 3% credit card transaction fee!! Build it into your cost!!I don't wanna see it if you have your price a dollar an item more. I'm not gonna notice it but when you make me pay a percentage, it just pisses me off. So I'm sure our server thought that I was just gonna pay for my two items and that the rest of it would be all on another ticket and she would get a big tip from them even though she did very little for them - It was the sushi chef who did almost everything.. let me tell you our server pissed off the wrong person because I paid the check. I cash tipped our chef very well. Our waitress can complain to the manager about."her tip" and maybe they'll give her the 6% which she didn't even earn. I've had good experiences and bad experiences at trappers. I think I just need to learn to only go to, Chef Sean at Sushi Kaunta!!!

I had a wonderful first experience at Trapper's. Adrianna was my server, and oh wow this girl is GOOD! She recommended the Red Raspberry Lemon Drop (YUM!) and when I mentioned I couldn't find my favorite sushi roll (Philadelphia) she kindly explained that at Trapper's it's called the New York roll, and pointed to it on the menu. Adrianna was super kind and sweet during the whole experience, and even made sure my water cup never reached the half way point, but made sure to give me space to breathe and enjoy my food. The ONLY reason this place isn't getting 5 stars, is when the host tried to sit me, she couldn't find any menus and when she went to ask the manager where she could get more, the manager replied with: "and why is this my problem?" I was appalled at that interaction.

Always a great lunch (or dinner) date! The sushi is always fresh, their service is great! We even had a new server, who was great, but he was being shadowed to ensure we had great service!

Craving some sushi while at southcenter mall so I stopped at Trappers for take out. The restaurant itself was not busy but service was slow. As I waited for my to-go order I seen the host ask dine in guests to wait in the lobby to be seated "about ten mins" which is the same amount of time I was told for my order to be ready and it took at least 25 minutes. Tables were already bussed so the only thing I could see was them notifying the server that there was a new table to serve in their area. I got the trappers roll, some scallops were overcooked but you can't really mess up fried shrimp rolled into rice so my sushi was good. There is a 2% service fee added to your bill that seems sneaky and the service evening dining out was not great nor worth the price imo.

Our order was Vadder roll, Spicy California, calamari, mushroom (something) appetizer, edamame pods, mochi flight. Everything we ordered was good with a sidenote that the $18 Vadder roll rice was gummy/pasty I think due to it being battered deep-fried (I'm not certain on their process just the end result left gummy rice). Our favorite was the Mochi flight $9.50 & calamari (although my daughter was surprised the calamari was the entire mini octopus). The hostess was good, the wait staff service was okay. We considered the "all you can eat sushi" but it was a specific menu of sushi to choose from & we weren't familiar with some of the options. We enjoyed the food & would go again.

Stopped by here on the way back home from a trip. I've been to a couple of other locations, and have always enjoyed the sushi, and it was no different here. We enjoyed our dinner here as well, and service was very friendly.

As you can see it was good

Great service! Food was mid. The karagae was funky looking but the sauce was 10/10. The sauce saved everything we ordered.

The interior has been beautifully refreshed. It's now bright, cozy, and inviting, with new chairs, tables, and tasteful decor that make the space feel warm and welcoming. We were greeted warmly by the waitstaff and seated right away. We ordered the papaya salad, stir fried seafood with curry powder and Panang curry. Every dish was absolutely delicious, well-seasoned, flavorful, and packed with taste. The portions were generously sized for two people and we even had enough leftovers to take home. We'll definitely be back soon and will be recommending this restaurant to friends and family. Highly recommended!

Rice is a basic part of Thai cuisine, just as rice is commonly served with many Chinese dishes. If I order an entrée at a Chinese restaurant, I would normally expect rice to be included or at least reasonably available as part of the meal. Having to order rice separately makes the meal feel incomplete and adds an unexpected extra charge. I understand that restaurants have different policies, but for a Thai restaurant, especially on a weekend, I think rice should come with the entrée. Hopefully, the restaurant will reconsider this policy.

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

However, there was no way for the cashier to upgrade the pizzas to a specially pizza (knowing and willing to pay the up charge) like the butter chicken. So we did a large butter chicken pizza 24 wings and cheese bread separately. Our total for 1 large pizza, 24 wings and small cheese bread was $69 and change with tip. I personally was dissatisfied with the flavors. Temperature was OK on everything except the cheese bread. By the time we got home the cheese bread was colder than everything else so I'm assuming it probably came out first. Whatever you have in your mind when I say the words, "cheese bread"... I promise this bread is particularly nothing like what you're thinking. Usually images of melty cheese pulls, crispy edges, garlic, buttery flavor, none of that was found here. Just congealed mozzarella cheese on top of bread. That's it. No flavor other than, well, cheese. The wings were also a little bit of a let down. They were cooked really well! I will give them that. Tender, juicy! Just the flavor was nothing other than roasted chicken. We got 12 garlic parmesan, and 12 tandoori. The tandoori ones had an ever so slight spice flavor but each were ultimately indistinguishable from the two flavor choices. If they had said, "randomly seasoned rotisserie wings" would be more accurate. I really wanted to like this place, (especially beacuse the reviews that felt like a temu Anthony Bourdain experience. Like we all hope it's a halfway as good as an Anthony Bourdain style review!!!) but for the price, time we had to wait to get it, and overall flavor and eating experience, this will likely be our only visit. Especially since they finished blocking off the turn into pancake Chef. It's a little contrived, trying to find a place to park and then walk over to get your pie.

So I walked in and immediately fell in love with their railway-themed Indian pizza menu. After some serious menu-staring (everything looked SO good!), I went with the Butter Chicken Express and guys... The fluffy pizza dough is amazing! This pizza is straight-up delicious! The butter chicken is marinated in this dreamy shahi sauce that's rich without being heavy. The chicken itself was super tender and they don't skimp on the toppings! The mozzarella melts perfectly with all the Indian spices, and the fresh cilantro, ginger, and garlic give it this amazing aroma that had me smiling with each bite. What I really loved was how they balanced everything, the green peppers and tomatoes added this perfect freshness, and the red onions gave just enough zing to keep things interesting. The crust was that ideal middle ground between crispy and chewy, totally held up to all those amazing toppings! A large (which was plenty for me and my friend plus leftovers!), it's a total steal for something this unique and flavorful. The staff was super friendly too, you can tell they're really proud of these creative pizzas!
