The service was quiet and professional. We got the crunch roll, eel and tempura veggie roll. They were all very good.

The restaurant is nice inside, clean, and have a good staff. We had California rolls which were as good as the Sushi bars in North Fort Worth. The total was around $13. The menu is quite large. We will return to explore the menu further. The outside of the restaurant could look better. We turned away previously deciding not to make a mistake. According to yelp they were open till 900pm on Sunday. Drove 240 miles as fast as we could to get there in time for dinner. There sushi is that good. Get there at 805pm only to be told they close at 800pm. Really disappointed! If your gonna have your business on social media then manage it! read more

We both got bento boxes. I got the beef, and my wife got the shrimp. The temporary was spongy not crispy was kind of cold, and my beef was cold. My Sapporo beer was nicely cold in a cold glass. The service was good but we went there for the food and that I was very disappointed in. read more

Absolutely delicious! My dad and I stopped in for lunch and we were so glad we did. The food was super fresh and tasty and the service was outstanding. We shared a combination tempura appetizer and a monkey brain appetizer which were awesome. Then we had a house salad and a miso soup. Their ginger dressing isn't your everyday dressing. It has refreshing notes of citrus and sweet with the ginger. Then for our main course we split an auhi tuna tower and had our waitress mix it at our table. The combination of the fresh cold tuna, avocado, crabmeat and rice with all the yummy sauces that are on it was just refreshing and delicious. This place exceeded my expectations! Set near a residential neighborhood right off of highway 287, the food is fantastic! The servers are kind and the Itamaes (sushi chefs) are really good. Everything I have ordered so far as sushi and sashimi has come out very presentable and fresh! The atmosphere is very low key, so if you are looking for a really good Japanese restaurant and you are out near the Haslet area, I would definitely recommend a visit! read more

I don't give 5 stars. But in this case my wife said the specialty "Summer Roll" she had was the best roll she had ever had. My Spicy Tuna and Cali rolls were flawless and tasty. Just a great spot. Shocking experience. Ate here with 12 year old daughter. She got shrimp sushi. It didn't taste right. Real metallic taste. Was a little concerned it might make her sick. so we had it exchanged for a California roll. We were then told that we would be charged for the couple of pieces she had eaten. I was totally shocked. The rest of the meal was fine. But when I talked with the person who I assume is the owner he didn't apologize for the food. He instead directed me to a policy that patrons eat at their own risk. Again shocking. A very pleasant experience turned horribly bad in seconds. Won't be coming back. Amazing that a business owner blows it this bad over $6 in shrimp read more

Hub had the Beef Teriyaki 'hot plate'- there was nothing left! Usually my fine redneck arm candy man just picks at what I order, enjoys some Sake and looks at his watch while I indulge. NOT todaaaay! That is some real Teriyaki, awesome beef with char and not some poor flank steak drowned in store bought Teriyaki. Everything is made from scratch and it shows! This is my new go to. Super friendly staff! Raymond is an absolute doll, ask questions if you are not sure about what you like and he can help you. We ordered an embarassing amount of food but it was our first visit and my appetite was out and ready! I liked the monkey brain and shrimp tempura but the cost was a little high for the amount. However for what we ordered total and the service it was well worth not having to do the commute, parking, blah blah blah. And the very fair drink prices make up for it. They also offer great lunch specials during the week. There is something for everyone. First try? Don't be shy, this is the place and you will feel right at home!! I checked the hours on yelp and on the facebook page before driving to the restaurant but when my family got there it was closed even though it was well within business hours according to both facebook, yelp, and the hours on the door. I can't say anything about the food because I walked out before I could try it due to the customer service. I wanted to place a to go order and the guy told me to wait. Didnt even hand me a menu. They took orders for customers that walked in after me (including another to go customer). I sat for so long waiting to be helped that I decided to just walk out. Not worth it... I can't help but think that I wasn't as important to them because of my race. I hope it wasn't racially motivated, but the other people they did help were Caucasians. read more

Food was good but service was bad ! First time I went waited 20 min for someone to take my order was only two couples in resturaunt . Second time I ordered two rolls and a bowl of rice , my rice came and waited a good 15 min for rolls, asked waiter when am I gonna get my rolls and she said oh you ordered rolls. The waiter ended up giving my food to another table. Service was bad and will not return. They have high school kids as waiters and were very inexperienced . read more
