I brought in my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee because it was leaking oil. Their inspection reported that there was no oil showing on the dipstick. They diagnosed an "oil cooler to engine block failure" and recommended replacing the engine oil cooler. I paid $490 after my warranty paid them the balance. Despite their diagnosis, black light dye testing, repair work, and assurances, the Jeep continued leaking oil. I photographed oil pooling beneath the vehicle and returned within days with the same complaint. This time, Sun Auto now diagnosed the turbocharger oil return line and related parts. The second bill was $1,215.40, including $1,032.49 in labor. My warranty paid another $1,015.40, and I was charged another $200 deductible. Two visits for the same continuing oil leak generated $2,664.45 in total charges. Of that amount, $2,221.49 was labor. My third party warranty was billed $1,974.45, and I paid $690 out of pocket. When a shop claims it found and repaired an oil leak, then the vehicle immediately continues leaking, the ethical response should be to investigate whether the original diagnosis or repair was wrong. It should not simply become another expensive diagnosis and another warranty claim. I asked the manager to respond to my emails in writing and he refused to!! Major red flag! I was even told that an oil leak could come from "2,400 places" in person and insulted over the phone. customers pay professional labor rates because they expect professional diagnosis and accountability. In my experience, this place is all about money. The front counter sales talk was slick, the labor charges were enormous, and the original problem continued. Adam and the front counter staff showed little concern that I had returned with the same oil leak after an expensive repair. I have the invoices, inspection findings, payment records, and photographs of the continuing leak. They changed my filter and they forgot to clip it back on and I could tell something was wrong my car sounded weird. Luckily I knew where to look and knew how to clip it on. Than 2nd time I asked them to do a tire rotation and as I was watching them I knew they did it wrong the moved them incorrectly so definitely NEVER DO THAT HERE. Waist of money. Then I found out the replaced my drain plug gasket without telling me but it's on my receipt. This last time is going to be my last I can't take any risk any further. I don't want anything to happen to my child and it seems like they are lazy and do everything half way through. Tom answered the quote request quickly and was able to come and inspect my vehicle the same day. He was very thorough, explained every step he was taking to make sure all of the new parts were installed correctly. I sat there for 10 minutes and no one offered to help because he was fixing his Pizza Hut order that they had forgotten his sodas on and so he called them the R word multiple times. Then a tow truck driver comes in who the person at the counter named Corey happens to know and they start having banter while the tow truck driver starts throwing around the F word. After a few seconds of gaining my ability to move from shock, I got up and Corey noticed me, smiled and watched me leave and realized what had happened. I then called him on the Midas recorded line and said hi. I just sat there for 10 minutes not being helped and listening to people throw around the F slur and the R word and all he had to say was that didn't happen and after I reminded him that this was a recorded line he then said well what was I supposed to do say something to him? So which I didn't said if anyone else was throwing around other slurs, I would hope that you would ask them to not do that in the place of business that you're working at and in front of the counter of especially if that offensive slur offend that minority specifically. Last week, my experience with Isabel was amazing, but I will never return to this place of business just because I don't know how the people who are working on my car are actually talking about me.

Looking at the history of reviews, this location has a bit of a checkered history. Bit of a read…read morehere, but giving a full account for others to weigh against other posts. I have a 21 year old car that has served me quite well due to how I maintain it. Still, things wear out and need replacing. I noticed squeaking sounds from my engine compartment, personal experience with previous cars suggested the belt needed replacement. Speaking with Dominique at the front desk, he noted that I had 3 belts and that any or all of them may be the culprit. He then looked under the hood and noted my front struts were in a really bad way resulting in a safety issue. Before one jumps to assuming typical upsell tactic, I could see they were in a bad way, and it really was a safety issue, so I had no problem with tending to this as well. Its a old car, issues are rarely isolated. It was going to be a while, so they offered to drive me to my home near by and give me a call when all was ready to go. Unfortunately, while tending to the struts they noticed the axels were in a bad way and needed approval before moving any further. Again, old car, not surprised and the cost for this was lower than I expected so I signed off on it. The next day I get picked up in my vehicle after the repairs had been done. While enroute to the shop to settle accounts, I noted there was still a squeaking coming from my engine compartment. Upon return, I asked for them took another look and thought perhaps the belt pulleys needed another adjusting. Subsequent inspection revealed it wasn't the pulleys or slippage, but the engine mounts. Of the four, one had gone completely bad, one was backwards, with a 3rd not even mounted to the frame. This debacle was the result of my having made use of a Wrench.com mobile mechanic 18 months prior who had diagnosed a cracked engine mount needing replacement. He had taken 12 hours to do the job at the time. 12 hours for a half-assed job that caused my vehicle's mounts to deteriorate faster than they should've, and quite literally, put my life at risk. Naturally, I asked them to tend to this as well. I was given a ride home by the manager and picked up again when they were done. My vehicle handles night and day better and is ultra quiet like it used to be. The deterioration of the mounts had been gradual enough that I assumed the slow degrading of performance was a sign it time to buy a new car. Granted, what started out as a roughly $300 bill mushroomed on me into 10x that, but I had some real problems that had to be taken care of, and wouldn't have without the insights and expertise of the people there. Throughout my experience, the staff was very courteous, informative, and willing to go the extra step for my comfort.
