My car was checked out the morning of my appointment, I was called with diagnosis, approved and my car was ready in 2 hours at a fair cost. The issue could have been a lot bigger, but these guys never do unnecessary repairs. I was told after repair, to drive a few hundred miles, if a potential additional problem occurred, THEN they would perform a second repair, but they didn't anticipate anymore issues! Good: Trustworthy Bad: N/A…read moreOverall: My default car repair company My vehicle started making a terrible grinding sound that made me concerned I may do damage if I continued driving it. I called a few places to get an idea of a quote for what I thought was likely the cause. The dealer gave a quote that was significantly higher than Integrity. I expected this but it really was surprising how much more. Another repair shop wouldn't even venture a guess, despite my acknowledgement that without seeing it, any suggestion was based on a lot of assumptions that could be wrong. I had my vehicle towed to the shop right before a snow storm was forecasted. They told me it would likely be looked at after the storm passed, but they were able to look at it the same day. They found that I made a mistake I made that cause a bolt to come loose. This was the cause of the noise. They charged me for a bolt and 30 minutes of work. They could have easily made the repair I expected with a significantly higher cost. They called to explain what they found and tell me it was ready. I cannot speak to cost because my resolution was so easy it didn't require long to fix. However the honesty they displayed impressed me. This shop is now a place I will visit when I need help. The complexity of issues I may face with my vehicle means that I could be fleeced, but they earned my trust.

I had my vehicle towed to their location and they were able to start diving into the problem in a…read morecouple of days. Wednesday the technician called and said it had no compression, that they would tear into it further and was to call back the next day. The following day I didn't hear from them so I called. He told me they weren't quit sure what the point of failure was, but took pictures and sent them to the parts supplier to help identify the failure. (Red flag - the failure had to be identified to be able to know what part failed, right?). The next day they told me the timing chain broke and they "suspect" it caused major engine damage and that it would be 20K for a new motor installed - in a 11 year old truck that is only worth 12K. I asked about the warranty, since the failure was a direct result of a part they installed and they said its not covered because the list of exclusions (of course). They told me the manufacturer would not cover any of the damage because the part was out of warranty (1 year). I asked where they got the parts and a quick search showed they had their choice of buying the kit that had a 1 year warranty or a kit that had a lifetime warranty. (They charged me the equivalent price of the lifetime warranty parts, and didn't ask if I would like to pay extra for more quality parts). I go in today to have the vehicle towed to my home and all the parts they removed are on my leather passenger seat without even a paper towel put down. After I finished taking pictures, someone came out, I'm guessing the mechanic, and placed my dipstick in the pile of parts. I asked him if it was standard practice to put dirty oily parts on customers seats like that. He responded it was indeed the practice if the vehicle is stored outside. EDIT: It's been a little over two weeks since the owner/manager commented on this review to ask for contact information in which I provided. I have yet to hear from him.
