I'm kind of notorious for not making good decisions while I'm hungry. Today was no exception. I deferred to teriyaki in lieu of something more exciting I got the chicken and gyoza. I couldn't decide if I wanted it there or to go. So I said to go. I think I got a to go up charge because the price was one dollar more. Decent amount of food. I also appreciate the gochujang as a condiment option. Be warned that theirs is slightly spicier than average. Six freshly fried gyoza. I appreciate that. Our family loves this place. Owners are friendly. We had one son that had been busy and not been with us much and they asked about him (they know his order by heart). We mainly order the chicken teriyaki and a side of gyoza. We also like the teriyaki beef and the spicy chicken. Everyone likes everything there except I am not big on the salad dressing. Good teriyaki, never bad and never amazing. You won't be disappointed when you order form here but you won't be blown away, standard teriyaki. I was skeptical to go here for the first time because of the location and how small it looks but insides it's not to shabby, not a lot of room to dine in. The buildings seems pretty old and not the cleanest but haven't seen any major problems. Fast and respectful staff make up for the lack of in dining experience. Always consistent, tasty. If you want chicken breast teriyaki though, there's usually a wait for cooking time. Call ahead for fastest service, I don't believe they work with any delivery sites/apps. My partner always gets Korean style kimchee fried rice and gyoza. I like the classic chicken teriyaki best, sometimes with double salad and no white rice. I'm one of those weird people that has a hard time eating dark meat but I love chicken breast teriyaki. When I saw that this place also had Gyoza I knew I had to try it. It's sooo good! The chicken is cooked perfectly and the sauce is fantastic. Not too sweet and just the right amount. The rice is fluffy and the serving sizes of both the Rice and the chicken are more than enough. Driving up the place is almost as small as you can get. I had to tell my husband to trust the reviews and pictures. Going inside the people are super friendly and the place was very clean. We ordered the spicy pork bulgogi. It was delicious. Definitely spicy, loved all the veggies in it which isn't something you find with most traditional Korean spicy pork. Nice to have rice and a small salad on the side to cool down my mouth. Great spot, if we are ever heading to the coast again we will stop by for this quick yummy cheap dinner. read more

My friend took me here last night to grey some to-go food. This place used to be a different restaurant, but now is a teriyaki place. It appears to be a family owned restaurant? The food here is freshly made as I saw an older gentleman grilling the chicken on the stove. I got their special spicy pork and a side of chicken. The spicy pork was super tasty and gave me that sense of a home cooked meal. The chicken was tender and moist and had a lot of flavors. My friend ordered the spicy tofu dish. I tried it and it was also tasty and full of flavor. It is a counter service place and has a small interior. The service was also good. read more

My husband and I went for the first time and picked up our order. First off, they have the Covid safety measures done right. 6 foot blockade between register and customer, clean pens, dirty pens, and sanitizer for your personal use. The people I saw working there wore masks. Secondly, the food was fantastic, well portioned (my hubs almost couldn't finish his chicken breast teriyaki), and priced right. I got the bibimbop bowl and it was fresh and delicious. Thirdly, the service was great and the man who helped me so nice. We will for sure be frequenting that place again. A nice simple takeout place with good portions that could feed you twice. I had the spicy pork and it was a good rendition of the classic Korean bulgolgi. I think the owners are Korean. They give you two scoops of rice and a simple lettuce salad. The dressing is simple yet refreshing. I guess it's not a place I would seek out, but if I wanted something quick for takeout, I would try and remember this place for anyone living in the Bethany area. Pros: Food tastes good and comes out quickly. Menu offers Korean and Japanese food. The kimchi side order is a very generous portion. Cons: 2 out of 3 of the times I tried visiting this restaurant during their open hours, it was closed. If they were on vacation, it would've been nice for a sign in the window to say so and to give a date for when they'd be back. The man who answers the phone doesn't sound very friendly. The restaurant is small. There is no restroom inside for customers to use. There was music playing, but it wasn't Asian. You have to serve your own water, and there's no ice. read more

As you drive down NW Saltzman Rd, be sure not to pass this hidden gem. This is such a sweet place to stop for a satisfying, savory meal. The atmosphere is bright and clean and an excellent little place to bring a family, dine-in, or pick up a meal for take-out. The food is reasonably priced, fresh, and has favorable portions. The complimentary salad has a very unique, impeccable dressing that brings out the taste of the meal it accompanies. The variety of the menu is impressive, as it offers teriyaki selections, yakisoba, tofu, udon, select Korean cuisines (which are definitely worth the try!), and much more. My personal favorites are their kimchi fried rice, chicken katsu, and teriyaki with their homemade sauce. I refuse to pass up this place whenever I am in town because it meets all my expectations of a family-based restaurant and teriyaki grill. Overall, every time I stop by I have had an enjoyable, rewarding experience. Pros: chicken was tasty and gyoza was tasty Cons:TINY portions, overpriced, no veggies only iceberg lettuce, poor hygiene. The 3rd star is based on decent yet FAST service and the fact that you can grab as much to go sauces as needed(a real hassle at lots of establishments) Wouldnt reccomend as there are lots better nearby. This place is really close by and husband has always liked the convenience of this location. This is the second time ordering beef yakisoba and there's hardly any beef. Prices higher and quality is less. I'm all for supporting small business but they are scrimping on their quality and quantity.
