This was my first time trying Frank's Noodle House. As you walk in you are welcomed by friendly staff. We did not have any issues getting a table, at first there was only 2 other customers. The interior is clean and neat, I was actually impressed by the cleanliness I had envisioned a more worn interior. The menu is huge, lots of variety from Stir Fry with or without protein, to appetizers, rice dishes and Korean Style BBQ. More food options than we had planned on. You can set your level of spice 1-4. We ordered two Stir Fried dishes, one with Chicken and one with Pork Belly. The dishes are served with finely chopped cabbage, onion, hand pulled noodles, red and green bell pepper and chopped celery. They have many other protein options. We also shared a side of fried Crab rolls. I also tried their hot tea, everything had good taste and the portions were huge, I was glad that the noodles were not greasy, we both took plenty of leftovers home, we probably could have shared just one dish, now we know for next time.

This location like I'm sure you already know inside feels different than the original. Seems like a lunch spot as far as the open space. We came for a quick bite not too hungry. The noodles were good, thick and slightly chewy like I enjoy them. Food came out fast. If in the area and haven't been to the original, I would head there. Cheers

Ordered through DoorDash delivery. We tried the following dishes: Frank's Signature Stir Fried Handmade Squid Noodles level 4. This was delicious, but as a spice fiend who is always chasing the fire, this was not very spicy. Just very well seasoned but not much heat. The noodles were fresh and had a nice chew to them. Dish was well balanced with some stir fry veggies. Frank's Signature Stir Fried Handmade Noodles with tofu spice level 1. Just a whisper of spice, although this dish came out more flavorful. I think I'd get a lower spice level next time to really enjoy the savory flavor. Egg Flower Soup Egg cup sized, just fine. As expected nothing special but very nostalgic. Hand made dumpling appetizer, boiled dumplings with a sour-sweet sauce.

Service: 7/10 they were nice and attentive. Ambiance: 5/10 the layout was like if you took a fast food joint turned into a different restaurant. It was okay. But who cares when the food is good? Amiright? Food: 7/10 I would 100% go back and will be back because the food each dish I ate was handmade, had adequate portions, reasonably priced and was delicious. Frank's Signature Stir Fried Handmade Chicken Breast Noodles: 7.5/10 I got a spice 2/4 but it tasted like 1/10. Flavor was solid. Perfect chewy texture of the noodles. The veggies in the dish were the best part. So flavorful. No wonder this is a signature dish Handmade Dumplings: 6/10 valiant effort. I would have preferred a thicker sauce to accompany it but it offered a nice acidity. They weren't bomb shells of flavor but they were yummy. Mongolian beef: 7.5/10 this had nice flavor. A bit sweet, the sauce coated the meat really nicely. The veggies offered nuanced sweetness. I really liked it.

Finally checked this place out after years of living in Portland. It's been mentioned so many times in the Asian community. Sadly, my first visit didn't live up to the expectation. The service was great, but the noodles were undercooked and tough. The flavor didn't stand out either.

Homemade Noodles with Black Bean Sauce ( very disappointing taste )

Someone told me that they make a good jjajangmyun type of noodles but their own version, so I had high expectations and hope but was let down! I ordered their homemade noodles with black bean sauce. I figured since it was a Chinese restaurant, I thought they would make it how it's made in China! The black bean sauce otherwise known as choon-jahng is supposed to be cooked in a wok with pig lard with pork and lots of yellow onions , and when the heat from cooking turns the black bean sauce slightly brown, that is when you know the sauce is ready to be served over noodles. It's my first time at this location and probably the last time, the young wait staff seems nice but once you start talking to them and asking questions, you can tell that they really don't want to talk to you and don't really give a ! All they care about is getting their tips! The restaurants atmosphere is really nice but that that was it! I was wondering why I was the only customer at 4:14 PM. $18 for a small portion of home made noodles that isn't anything to write about other than it's really a really doughy and under cooked thick noodles with a black bean sauce that was cooked in a sauce pan instead in a wok. I wish Taipei Noodle Hause was open on Tuesday! I made a special drive from Gresham to this Beaverton location in my truck with V8 motor but wasted 7 gallons of gasoline coming here.

We love Frank's Noodle House & it's a must try when you're in town! We have ate at the Portland location and our first time at the Beaverton location. Service was friendly, food came out fresh & fast! Compared to the Portland location, Beaverton is larger, cleaner, more modern, plenty of parking versus street parking. We ordered the chicken fried rice, hand pulled noodles with shrimp, garlic bok choy and the pork dumplings. Every single dish was delicious and makes you want to eat more! Some of the best fried rice I have ever had. The taste level of the food is same as Portland. You cant go wrong with either location. We will come back again when we are in town next time!

I found a work in my food.

I used to love this spot and order from here regularly. Today, halfway through eating, I found a worm in my food.

The server brings a cold bottle of water to every table.

We were out on this side of town and decided to give this Portland landmark a try. The noodles are good-adjustable spice which I loved! Nice portions for the price. So fresh The servers bring cold bottles of water; which is great! They replace the bottle as needed. I loved the large bowl of egg drop soup. Nice rich broth. It's a bit pricey but a nice experience.

I love Franks. From the converted house which is their original location to this satellite location in Beaverton, nothing has changed. Same amazing food. Same amazing friendliness and service. Food comes out quick, hot, and tasty. I had my favorite the pork belly hand pulled noodles and M had her go to the veggie hand pulled noodle. As always the food was perfect!!

Szechuan Style Dan Dan Noodles with pork
    Jenna W.

Oh my godddds the noodles! The hand pulled chewy umami goodness with absolutely perfect texture. I'm in love. I ate in and had the Dan Dan noodles which comes with ground pork and veggies. My friend ordered the Kung Pao tofu, which was somehow perfectly crispy on the outside and yet the center melted in your mouth. I've never had crispy tofu that wasn't dry in the middle. They have a ton of dishes which are meats mixed with hearty servings of vegetables, so I didn't leave feeling bloated and gross. I had some Szechuan green beans and pork with cabbage on the side. Everything was delicious, and I'm looking forward to my leftovers.

Fastest service, ever. I ordered level four spice it it had a nice kick. I got the house noodles. I can't wait to go back.

Hand made noodles with marinated chicken breast.

The food, service and ambiance were wonderful. Their handmade noodles are their specialty but their fried rice was just like I tasted in Asia with a lot of shrimp. A definite return to this place.

One door closes and another door opens in this case. After searching on Yelp, we were glad to find this place in old downtown Beaverton and so my daughter and I decided to check it out after watching the Masters of the Universe movie at nearby Century 16. The Korean Corn Dogs did not disappoint. I loved the sweet, crunchy coating on the outside and of course the cheese on the inside. The corn dog didn't have a full-size dog from end to end but that didn't matter as you get a chance to work your way to it at the end after you get through the cheesy part. Corn dogs came drizzled with ketchup and mustard but you may want to ask ahead of time not to put that if you're not a traditional kind of corn dog eater or if you want yours plain. We got the 3 pack for $12. We also grabbed a side order of cheese corn and seafood pancake. I found the pancake not having many pieces of seafood in it and mostly scallions so not my favorite. I may want to try their soups and also rice dishes on the next visit but our primary visit was to try their Corn dogs and it was a hit! Great Atmosphere and Excellent Soft Tofu Stew…read more I visited Hansik for dinner on a recommendation from a colleague, and I'm glad I did! The restaurant is very accessible with plenty of parking around the building and a wheelchair-friendly entrance. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The interior is lovely--very clean and has a great vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. The Meal I ordered the Oyster Soft Tofu Stew, which came with a side of rice, a fresh egg, and a variety of banchan (side dishes). The Stew: It had a nice spicy kick, but cracking the raw egg into the boiling pot mellowed the heat perfectly. It was delicious and paired wonderfully with the rice. The Banchan: While the variety was nice, I found most of the side dishes to be a bit too salty for my personal taste, so I didn't finish them all. To-Go: I also ordered a Seafood Scallion Pancake to take home, and the staff was happy to package it up for me. Overall, it was a very pleasant solo dining experience with great service. I'd definitely return for the stew!
