I wanted to give this salon a fair chance, but unfortunately my experience has been disappointing from start to finish. I've been a customer of this salon for years and regularly visited before it was sold to the new owners. I always had positive experiences in the past, which makes this review even more disappointing to write. I originally got a French tip set on 5/21. By 5/25, almost every nail had popped off. I've been getting my nails done for years and have never had a full set fail within four days of normal wear. To their credit, the salon offered to redo the set on 5/26. A different technician completed the redo, and while I appreciated the effort to correct the issue, the nails were much thicker and bulkier than I requested. The shape was better, but they still didn't have the clean, natural look I was hoping for. Now, despite the redo, the French tip polish is already chipping. To make matters worse, the gel polish on my toes is also peeling around the edges. At this point, I've had durability issues with both my manicure and pedicure. I understand the salon was recently sold to a new family, and transitions happen. However, as a paying customer, I can only review the experience I received. Between the original set popping off within days, the bulky replacement set, the chipping polish, and the peeling gel pedicure, the quality simply did not meet my expectations. I was looking for a nail salon to get a pedi before vacation and stopped by here. There was only 2 people working and they were both taking care of another patron and I waited for a good 15-20 minutes before getting started. I was thinking that's okay it's a Sunday I have no important place to be and waited. During the pedi ($27), she didn't include the leg+foot scrub+massage as per usual and just went straight to lotion. She also took the time to scrub off throw away foot scrubbers and tools infront of me which made me think like this may not be the most sanitary if throw away scrubbers are being cleaned and used again :( I also had to wait another (what felt like 10 mins) just standing there before being able to pay whereas less honest people have a chance to leave which I found weird :( All in all, it wasn't a terrible pedi but it def wasn't the best I wasn't too happy about the shaping and paint job but it's okay for now. It's a pretty small salon. Ok, so I'm a little picky when it comes to my nails. I like them to look very clean, neat, and natural. The shape, polish, and thickness (I prefer thinner nails) all have to be near-perfect for me to be pleased, and I am so happy to say that I am very pleased with my nails today My nails are high quality, and the customer service was an easy 10/10. Needless to say, I highly recommended this location, and I love the new management, which I think is the awesome husband-wife duo, Mia and Henry. I literally laughed my entire appointment, because Henry is hilarious, and his beautiful wife, Mia, is a social butterfly. I loved their energy, and I can't wait to go back! read more

I just left Sun nail spa. My rating is more reflective of their pricing policy than the service Mia and Tracy were sweet and very nice. All of the staff are friendly and engaging. I thought I had found my new nail spa because I'm in the area daily. I pass this location constant so it would have been perfect. My pedicure was $30 that's the men's price the women pay $27. This is sexism. The reason they said is because men's feet are more difficult. I have had a pedicure all over the country and I have never had a location change men more. That policy assumes all men's feet are difficult to do a pedicure. I get a pedicure frequently and my feet don't have calluses or crusty stuff on the bottom etc. Therefore, I should be charged less. I know women that have all kinds of bunions, calluses etc on their feet they are not charged more. Because this policy I will not recommend or return to this location although they have the nicest staff. I also had three different people work in my feet which was different. They asked me if I minded before they did it and I was ok with it, it beats sitting there waiting for them to finish. They all work together as a team which is awesome to see. I am sorry I will not return as I truly enjoyed my experience. I don't allow their policy to impact the tip, which is 20-25% depending on the experience and they received nothing less Hope this helps someone. read more

Don't be mislead by the overall stars for this place. I was pleasantly surprised! Been looking for a nice nail spot that is smaller, and more personal. Less busy than my current place and I randomly tried this place. Walked in and was greeted by Tiffany, the manager. I was seated right away and she started on my nails. I wasn't harassed or forced to get anything I didn't want or ask for. Nor was I bothered with the infamous upselling. The place is smaller, not special in terms of esthetics. But clean and they use the plastic bowl bags for the pedis along with sterilized tools which was awesome! They were only staffed with 4 at that time (Sunday). There were 2-3 customers finishing up services, so it wasn't busy at all. The other 2 customers that came after me were regulars, they don't get many walk ins. I told Tiffany how I wanted my nails and she calmly said "okay I got you". She shaped them perfectly. No cuts or rough handling. She was personable- engaged in conversation about some restaurants she suggested I try and even offered me a glass of wine. Which was a perfect compliment to that bomb massage chair that massaged every muscle from head to thigh! Cindy did my pedicure and let me tell you, don't let her baby face fool you! She's good at what she does and very detailed. I thought when she sat down..."what is this little girl about to do"? Well let me tell you...I didn't have to say one thing to her. She took her time with me, leaving my toes looking and feeling fabulous! Upon check out I was given a customer card. After 10 punches they give you $10 off your service. It also states they have free nail art on Mondays... Yaaassss! I'm looking forward to my next visit. Maybe indulging in paraffin (whatever that is,Lol) or maybe a deluxe service with the hubby. Called in before coming and got us started almost immediately! Located in a shopping strip, parking wasnt an issue since we went around 6 o clock. For first time customers, we got our SNS done for $25 each (Regularly $35) and we couldn't be happier for the great work!!! Cindy did my SNS and it was perfect! The person who did my fingernails was so bad at filing my nails. They were crooked until I asked her to fix them but after they still were. She also cut and filed my toenails and she did an even worse job because I asked for a square shape and she did partial round and partially square. I could do a better job myself at home. And the other lady that did my pedicure put the nail polish on and after they dried and we payed we left and gave a good tip but when we got in the car on our way home, they smudged I wish I had never gone here. They also did not have a variety of colors for me to choose from and I thought they were a 5 star nail salon (because that's what google said) but no. They are a one star. Worst nail salon I have ever went to. The old lady working there can't even polish toes right and kept smearing the polish. When I told another worker she fixed it but acted like it was no big deal. I should have known they wouldn't do my acrylics right if they couldn't do a simple pedicure but gave them a chance anyway. Needless to say my nails are damaged as a result. Do not use these people. Their prices are cheaper for a reason. They don't even have fresh nail polish. When you go to select your polish most of the bottles are almost empty. I guess this is why I saw her pour liquid into the nail polish I was using. Cheap and very poor quality Is what you get. Avoid this salon. Trust me you will wish you had. One of the worst nails salons I've Been to ! I asked for only glitter on my big toe I even pointed to them. I saw that she skipped the big toe with putting my main color down so I said I wanted orange & glitter on top (pointing to my big toe) she put glitter on all of them. I didn't notice until it was done. My bday got his nails "done" & my nails look cleaner than his & I recently just took my acrylics off like really !? The. they took literally 2 hours to do a gel pedicure, thats literally it. someone started my pedicure, and i had to tell her 5 times not to make my toenails a round shape. then she walked away when it was time for polish and i sat there for 20 minutes waiting for another lady to come do the polish. i had to have her fix the previous lady's filing because every single nail was filed crooked. then they had the audacity to charge me 42 dollars for the most half-assed service ive ever received in my life. read more

i went in to get a pedicure, i waited a while for someone to attened me i got there and they asked me to choose a nail polish so i did. they sat me down and turned the water on my feet were soaking in the water for probably 30 mins to an hour but waited a total of 2 hours. my toes didn't come out as good. i wanted a true white but came out as yellow. read more

My daughter had her nails done there twice and on the second visit she contracted nail Fungus on almost every nail on her hands. When we went there to address the issue they told us it was a 'water damage ' and she even suggested to do her nails again and do SNS on top of that like nothing happened. If I could give this business zero stars I would. I went in for a pedicure and a SNS Dip manicure. I was disappointed with the outcome of the service. My manicure was so thick with dipping powder on my cuticles. One of the techs cut my big toe nail down so low I had to get an acrylic overlay on my toe of which I had to ask them several times to blend and buff. My sister went and had her lashes done and they were awful she had them removed. Overall terrible experience. The salon manager Tiffany made a reply to my post saying since I'm a nail tech and wanting to get my nails done for free because I requested money back for such a horrible experience. Let the record show I went to Avoir Spa and Salon right after I left this business and paid for my nails to be done over so help understand how I wanted something for free. Let me explain something to you Tiffany, in the past 8 years I have been in business as a nail tech for myself I have never had a client unhappy with my services. That's because I am consistent with my work and I do a person's nails as if I want my nails done.
