This establishment is a no frills little mom and pop place. But my friend told me it hit the spot. Similar food from her childhood she said. I'm really glad we found it. I also wanted to give a shout out to the server, whom I can only assume is the "pop" of the mom and pop restaurant. He was attentive, making sure we had water, and asked if we were good with the food, and just overall very nice. Keep in mind, no frills - disposable plates/plasticware etc. so having the friendly service as well was a nice touch. About the food, we have the fried pork chop bento box. The pork chop was nicely flavored and tender. There was some minced pork with gravy over the rice which was perfect. We loved the pickled veggies in the bento also and the soy sauce egg. I highly recommend trying their bento box options when you're here. Plus, I noticed they had lunch specials too. Will have to try next next for lunch. We also had the Taiwanese sticky rice, popcorn chicken, plum sweet potato fries and oyster omelette. All were very good. For those who know, this place is located in the old plaza where enson market is but over on the other side where the viet market and restaurants are.

It's very comfortable. My only issue was it took so long to get our food. We got the ramen and 2 orders of the pork dumplings together. We got through about half of our ramen before an order of the pork dumpling shows up. We finished the first set of dumplings and were going to cancel the second order, but then they showed up. Moral of the story, don't show up hangry lol

All I can say, this place simply blew my mind!! I never expected this resto to be this GOOD! Came in around 7:15 pm and there's were a few people waiting and I signed up on their Yelp waitlist kiosk. But I got seated about 5-10 mins upon arrival. So when looked at the menu, they had 3 dishes that were Michelin guide recommendations. The first one is their wonton soup, the pan fried Peking duck buns and the steamed buns with bokchoy and mushrooms. So I was curious and had to order the wonton soup and since I love Peking duck, I ordered the buns. Here's my assessment: 1. Pork and shrimp wonton soup - 15/10 - the soup was pretty neutrally flavored but still good to my liking but oh boy, the wonton was out of this world!! It came with 6 large wontons, some bokchoy, seaweed and the broth. I always ask for chili oil and when I took a bite of the wonton, the sudden burst of deliciousness that I felt in my mouth was indescribable. Then I dipped the wonton in the chili oil and it added another layer of umami flavor. This is prolly my Top 2 wonton soup I've had in my life next to the one I've tried in Hongkong years ago!! Every wonton I ate the more I just want to eat more wontons . It's INCREDIBLE. 2. Pan fried Peking duck buns - 20/10 - this should be a Michelin star dish!! The bun was a little sweet, soft but that first bite felt like all my salivary juices just exploded. This is the BEST BAO BUN I've had in America. The most perfect combination of sweet, savory, salty, with a touch of five spice and a gastronomically out of bounds dish - It's UNBELIEVABLE!! Every customer should not leave this resto until they've tried this one!! Trust me, you may want to eat at least 4 pcs of this. I would have wanted to get 2 more but I was already full. 3. Steamed bokchoy with garlic - 10/10 - love the freshness of the bokchoy, well poached and the garlic was just enough that it was not overpowering yet it was garlicky. I wish we can have Kung Fu Kitchen in CA but I guess FL is more business friendly. They also have their sister flagship resto in NY!! So if ever you come to Disney World or Orlando for a work or business trip, pls do yourself a favor and make sure you put this resto as part of your itinerary!!!

Snow Tea Caffe is a hidden gem! I've been coming here for a few years for their Taiwanese cuisine…read more I believe this is a family owned restaurant. We usually order at the counter and the staff are friendly and very accommodating. This place is cute and cozy with modern decor and a fun mural. It's clean and offers a chill vibe, and located near UCF. It offers a variety of boba drinks and teas. There's a small food menu but I've enjoyed all the items I've ordered so far. My go-to is the beef noodle soup which is flavorful and simple, yet so delicious. The beef is super tender and the chopped mustard greens elevates the taste. I always get a side of the hot chili peppers which is added goodness! I'm a soup gal so this place is where I like to get my soup fix when the weather gets cold. Another favorite is the fried chicken thighs appetizer. It's crunchy and well seasoned, not greasy. You get a nice portion. I'm also a big fan of the mixed fruit tea with crystal boba. You get your choice of sweetness level. The fresh cut fruits inside is also a nice touch. Every time I stop in I'll see a steady flow of Asian customers, so you know this has got to be authentic. Recently they started offering specials on different days of the week. Hopefully it will bring in more customers. It's worth the visit if you want some Taiwanese comfort food. There's ample parking since it's in a strip mall area.

And it's nice and peaceful for dine-in. My mother loves their beef noodle soup. She says it tastes like what she used to get when she was in Taiwan, but better. I highly recommend the calamari if you're looking for a small appetizer. But if you're not a seafood person, you can never go wrong with their popcorn chicken.
