It's clean, they have awesome beds. I do tan here. However, I hate that we have to sign a year long contract to have a membership. I just want to pay for a one month tanning package and come and tan on the months I want. I don't want to have to remember to "pause" my membership. Also, the girls need to educate the customers. I was not asked any questions about my skin type. Which in return I have no idea what bed is best for me to use. They have multiple options for different levels of beds and memberships and I feel the girls need to educate each customer based off their skin type. (What bed, how many minutes, what package would suite you best) None of that info was given to me and I felt lost. Also, the hidden taxes and fees need to be told to the customer up front when they are purchasing their membership. After fees, my card gets charged almost $10 more per month than what I was quoted. I get that it's such a busy place and they are trying to get people In And out of the beds quickly but seriously, educate your staff so they can educate your customers! This salon is easily the best in the area! The beds and rooms are clean and well maintained, and clients are able to choose which type of bed works best for them. The rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned, and you feel pampered by the decor and atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable--they take the time to show you how to use the beds and which lotions work best. I love this place. Everyone is so kind and willing to help or answer questions. You can buy a 3 for $50 for spray tans and you save like almost 100 bucks, it's awesome. The beds are nice and facility is clean. However the staff is a bunch of snobby girls that don't even thank you when you leave or say hi when you enter. Most of them need an attitude check and stop wearing raggy t-shirts to work like a bunch of highschoolers. read more

My roommate and I drove 40 minutes to get a free spray tan and when we got there, we were turned away because the lady working the desk looked done and didn't want to schedule anymore people this close to the end of the day. I explained that we had driven to Idaho Falls specifically for this and they acted like it was such a bother that I was still talking and they wouldn't give us any sort of incentive to come back, which is honestly a shame because I'm coming from California and am looking for a GOOD tanning salon get a membership. Walked in at 8:20 to get my daughter a spray tan. Someone was using the unit at the time. They said they couldn't accommodate us because the person who was getting spray tanned would be done after 8:30 and they don't let people spray tan after 8:30...but they close at 9. Their reason was they needed to clean it. Pretty irritating. read more

Beds are nice and clean. Service is ok - some staff are friendly...others not at all. Don't expect a goodbye or even a nod as you leave. Morning appointments are better than afternoon because the rooms are so hot it is difficult to stay in the bed for any length of time. Some air conditioning or even a big fan would be nice to cool off the rooms!! The small fan on the bed does NOT cut it. read more

I spoke with Courtney the manager from the store in Idaho Falls. She referred me to corporate for a refund. I spent about 8 minutes on hold then I was told a refund would need district manager approval. I used the service about 1 week in may on a month to month contract. My last day I told them I was done and was told I would not be charged again. They took funds from my account in June, July and August. Now they want proof I moved. Why should I have to do this when it was only a month to month contract. My money should be refunded ASAP. I will never use this business again and do not give them access to charge your account ever. I have left more messages for corporate in KY to call me back and nothing. Idaho Falls store offered to refund 1 of the 3 months in question but that is not acceptable. read more

One of the worst experiences with a company in my life. Unhelpful even when you ask questions, they treat you like you're stupid. But they can't even form coherent sentences to explain things properly. And they bad-mouth you to everyone (right in front of you) like a scarlet letter. Avoid!!! read more

the check in process was okay, i had multiple questions and instead of looking she just shrugged her shoulders and said there's no deals going on. there's always at least a cheaper bed option but she didn't even look. so i paid full price for a bed tan. i had no problem paying but as i laid down in the bed there was residue from the last person tannings lotion and the control buttons had grease marks from lotion as well. the tanning beds are always great but i just would prefer if my bed was clean each time. read more

I have always been pretty happy with this facility. However, I went in about 12:30 or so today. There was a wait, which is not uncommon at this time of day on Monday. What was weird though, was that there was only ONE person who appeared to be working. Seems like the management should have a better feel for their workflow than that. I go Mondays at around noon every week, and I know they should have more than one person working. She told me the first person out had 12 minutes left, I said that was fine and it totally would have been had it taken about five minutes or so to get into a bed. It took an extra 13 minutes beyond those 12 before I was able to get into a bed and at that point she had three empty beds. Due to the fact that she was only helping people who were just coming in rather than asking them two wait a couple of minutes though while she cleaned, that's where things started to go awry. That's just poor time management. Additionally, the bed was filthy. I've considered writing a review before about the cleanliness of the beds as it is a bit of a hit and miss but I couldn't let it go today. Lastly, she never bothered to acknowledge the wait at all. This all leads me to believe that better training and on-hand management would be beneficial. read more

This is the best place to tan! They have plenty of beds to choose from based on a level/price that you want. They also have spray tanning available. They have quite the assortment of tanning lotions as well. The staff is awesome!! Super nice, helpful, and welcoming!! I rarely ever have to wait for a bed. read more

This location of sun tan city is awesome. I have to compliment the front desk ladies on how kind and helpful they are. I always feel welcome and they can usually accommodate me pretty quickly. I also feel that the have reasonable prices and packages and on top of that good up grade packages. I have been going here for almost 2 years and it has been great. No complaints here! read more
