Had to throw it away (freshly bought, tried day after I purchased) no longer edible... thought maybe it was a fluke so recently bought another pack. Same condition! I did notice spots of black mold on the outer skin, but thought maybe it did not reach the garlic buds. Wrong, it was just a tell tale sign and the buds were rotten, with sprouts already growing at the tips. Waste of money. Just want to warn consumers about this issue. Maybe it has something to do with the climate where the crops are grown but GO should be more careful.

Safeway: Please…read morenever shop via delivery with Safeway. I'm a caregiver for my husband and I have difficulties as well. I always order delivery with Safeway. Last night my order was to be delivered between 6-8 pm. I contacted customer support at 9:27 pm because my order was still not received. I was told it's out for delivery. 9 :47 still no order. I called customer service again so said there is a problem with my order. I was transferred to the store who informed me that my order was picked up and delivered. I then proceeded to tell the employee that it had not been delivered. He put me on hold for a while, then returned to tell me that after the 12th delivery driver who came to pick up my order it is missing. It took them 12 delivery drivers to realize this? I then was informed that my order of $266 will be refunded by next business day. Guess what? No refund. I called Safeway again who said they have no record of my refund being processed. They also showed my order was waiting pick up. I had to explain the whole situation again and was informed it may take up to 7 business days to process. I then asked to speak to a manager. He informed me the same information. So now I'm waiting for my refund and still no Groceries. I then asked for the phone number of Corporate and was informed that I can only receive the P. O box address. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!! PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE OF SAFEWAY.
