While staying at the Waldorf in Naples, we were told about this little place in the Publix shopping center. They said the baked goods were to die for, and they didn't lie. The first morning, I had a simple breakfast of one fried egg, fruit, and the strawberry-orange-peach muffin. Yum! The muffin was so moist and delicious. My egg was cooked to perfection. The second morning I ordered the same thing except I got the apple crumb muffin. Also a huge hit! The third and final morning I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, fruit, and the piña colada muffin that my friend had been raving about (they didn't have it the first two days). I was a bit disappointed in that it was slightly dry. The flavor was wonderful though. This is a small place and we couldn't find indoor seating today (but it is Fathers Day!). The service is great. Our orders always came out fast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place!! read more

My husband Bob and I love this place. The people here are so nice and really take care of you. We have been here many times and everything we get is great--the egg sandwich, the BLT, the pastrami sandwich, their fabulous large blueberry pancakes (you just need to order 1!). They are not chintzy with their portions. There is something special about their coffee as well, and they have a wonderful cappuccino. Divine! Everyone's always smiling and call us by our names (thanks, Samanda!). Love the colorful mural on the wall, makes us feel like we're in the jungle. We will miss this place when we move. We went during lunch today and got there about 12:30. OMG, so many places struggling because of staff shortages but this place, it felt like 2019. The people delivering the food offered to get our sandwich cut when I asked about getting a second plate. Then they came over and offered a refill on drinks. We had originally gone up to the counter and ordered our food. The chocolate pistachio muffin was wonderful. I feel bad I didn't leave a bigger tip. I will go back soon to make up for it. read more

I was so happy to find Sunburst Cafe in Naples! It's located in a shopping plaza near Target which is great because after you get your fill of amazing food, you can hop over and shop! I enjoyed their bacon avocado omelette the last time I was there. It was really tasty with the creamy avocado. They have amazing iced coffee too. When you go to the restaurant, you can sit on one of the beautifully colored chairs after you buy your food from the counter. I like it that even though it's not the traditional way of eating your meal and then laying, by paying first, once you're finished, you're free to go! read more

Today my boyfriend, my son and I got the lunch special. The Philly cheese steak with chips and fruit. It was so busy, we were lucky to find a table outside. The food came out pretty quickly and the waiter was so sweet, he was very attentive. The Philly cheese steak was ok I guess. It was kind of bland, I had to add some salt, pepper and Cholula hot sauce. It was better afterwards. And the chips were normal chips, nothing special. But the fruits were so sweet and juicy, I really enjoyed them. I would recommend this place if its for a simple and light breakfast you're looking for. read more

The cafe was smaller than I was expecting and was able to produce a lot of food for how small it was! I got the sunburst cafe scramble. The broccoli chunks were pretty big, I like mine chopped up and bite sized. They were "al dente" and I prefer mine very cooked and/or crispy from the oven. The bowl also had a ton of cheese. Other than that, everything else was great. The cinnamon vanilla latte was to die for. The banana pecan pancakes were done perfectly! Cute little cafe. read more

Best breakfast I've had in Naples! I'm visiting from out of town with my boyfriend and we both thought the food was phenomenal. He loved the Corn beef hash omelette and Blueberry pancakes. I had a spinach and feta omelette which was also delicious. Im an avid coffee lover and their iced Salted Carmel latte was to die for! Everyone was so friendly and the service was great. The only drawback to rating this charming, friendly, bohemian place is Yelp only allows 5 stars. Like Nigel Tufnel said, "This one goes to eleven." Great atmosphere, cheerful and friendly staff and customers make the Sunburst Cafe special. If we lived in Naples, we would be regulars. Heck, on second thought, the commute from Dallas-Ft. Worth wouldn't be so bad, considering the incredible on-premises baked muffins and awesome breakfast choices. We highly recommend it! read more

Overall: You have to work for your meal. During my jaunt in Naples my mother suggested this restaurant. You have to go to the cashier area to order. It is a cramped place and while waiting in line expect to be bumped into many times by food runners. My iced coffee was really great. One of the employee's shirts says to avoid Starbucks and in this instance I agree. I ordered a veggie wrap with chicken (extra charge) and hummus which came with a side of fruit and chips. The wrap was delicious and the hummus tasted homemade. My mother enjoyed her egg sandwich too. read more

Visited today for the first time... it's such a cute cafe with great outdoor seating. I got to talk to the owners who are lovely... and very funny! I ordered the vegan bowl and it had lots of delicious veggies and black beans. My husband ordered the shrimp salad wrap which he also loved. We also got a few of their delicious muffins to go! Don't be decided by outward appearances. This place is AMAZING!!! Just had an ENORMOUS chocolate chip banana muffin and a chocolate rum cake coffee! They also serve a full menu of breakfast and lunch. Be prepared to be packed in like sardines and the place is always hopping, especially on the weekends!! read more

I don't get to come here very often, because I'm only in Naples twice a year, but I always make it a point to stop by at least once each trip for breakfast. Established in 1998.

Jerome and Theresa Tocio have been serving breakfast and lunch to Neapolitans since 1998. We are a favorite of locals. Graham and Rita Caven are the new owners, you can read about them in the bio section. We serve coffee, espresso, cappuccino and lattes prepared with locally roasted organic and free trade beans We are locally owned and members of Naples Originals. We are known for our chicken salad -- Naples secret recipe as well as Naples Best Muffins made by Jerome "The Muffin Man" who has now trained Graham the new ‘Muffin Man’. All of our menu items are freshly prepared in our kitchen. Breakfast is served to order all day. We are open 7 days a week from 7 am to 2 pm

Hello, we are Graham and Rita Caven. We are from the UK. We fell in love with Naples a few years ago when visiting childhood friends here although we have been visiting the USA for about 30 years initially bringing our 3 children to Disney. Before we bought Sunburst we worked for a mining company that took us around the world to Australia, Canada and Scotland, while we enjoyed our work we felt it was time to do something for ourselves. We love the American people, we are totally social so buying this cafe was perfect for us. We appreciate the history of the cafe, we respect it and plan to enhance what is already here. Servers were kind and let us take our time deciding what to order, and once we ordered the food was out quick! I started with a watermelon mimosa which was refreshing and then ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of breakfast potatoes (hash browns). The biscuits were soft and buttery, and the gravy was damn-near perfect - great flavor and plenty of it! The breakfast potatoes weren't what I was expecting, but I wasn't disappointed! They were flavorful and crispy without being greasy! Overall, super content with my meal and look forward to returning!

Their coffees are so standout because they get fresh whole beans, rather than just getting sent the ground coffee which is easier, but less fresh. ~Triple chocolate muffin ~Bowl of homemade chili, This chili was so thick and hearty, full of meat, beans, and flavor and topped with tons of shredded cheddar! ~Reuben sandwich, Georgi told us they were known for their famous Reuben so we had to give it a try!
