    Shrimp scampi
    Monica V.

Sunday Gravy is a casual Italian restaurant located in the central square shopping center in Linwood. It's BYOB with plenty of parking and reservations are a must since they're always busy! You can easily book on resy.com. I've been twice now, and have enjoyed each visit. All their pastas are homemade and their dishes are very flavorful. My husband thought their chicken Parmesan was a little too salty for him with the vodka sauce, but he's sensitive to cream and has more bland of a palate than I do. I thought it was delicious. We had started off with the stuffed gnocchi appetizer. This was hands down the best gnocchi I've ever had! It was like little pillows filled with ricotta in the most scrumptious cream sauce with roasted tomatoes. We wanted to lick the plate, but used the bread to wipe it up instead haha. For my main dish, I had the shrimp scampi with the creamy rice and it was incredible! The shrimp were absolutely perfectly succulent and not overdone and rubbery. The lemon butter sauce was divine. I may opt for the linguine instead next time since I was overloaded with cream after the gnocchi, but it was delicious the next day as leftovers. Service was attentive and well timed. The restaurant is lively and not the biggest, so don't go here expecting a quiet meal. I need to try their dessert next time!

It was really good. I would go again. Prices were fair and food was great but it was salty, which disappointed me. Gnocci appetizer was EXCELLENT.

Been trying to eat here for a while, but it's hard to get a res because it's so busy and now I see why. I had shrimp scampi and we started with the best gnocchi ever and a great tomato and burrata salad. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Make sure to save room for dessert and it's BYOB!

Food was excellent as usual. Nice ambiance. Service this time felt a bit rushed. We went at 4 pm on a Sunday. We like to have a cocktail before ordering. Just because a place doesn't serve alcohol they should understand that some people don't want to order right of way. Nothing that can't be corrected by management. This trip I had the spaghetti and meatballs with the broccoli rabe and sausage appetizer. Unfortunately the broccoli rabe and sausage risotto balls aren't on the menu anymore. Boy they were one of favorites. My wife got the beet salad which could have been a meal itself and had the scallops appetizer on linguine which she said was excellent. We enjoyed all the food as is the case at this place. We've never had a bad meal here.

Bring a good bottle of wine. This is on the list at Steve & cookies.

Heard good things about Sunday gravy. Italian byob with homemade pasta on par with zeppoli. Server was attentive and helpful as we were asked if it was our first visit. I tried three pastas. All on point. Yes the gnocchi are a 10 out of 10 you have to try. Meal was quick but didn't feel rushed, big crowd waiting for a table as we were leaving. I would recommend and we will return. Didn't have dessert. I mean I had three pastas how more can you consume. Last comment reasonable prices for the quality

Wow! Probably the best meal we've had in a really long time, and all year with that. You need a reservation to go here and besides the bar I don't think they take walk ins. We managed to get a reservation on a Sunday evening. We were seated promptly. From start to finish everything was great. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was the best we've ever had. So light and crispy with a unique flavorful. Yum. For mains we had the Sunday Gravy, chicken parm, mussels and asparagus for my Grandma and the shrimp and crab fra divolo. Everything was divine. So fresh and flavorful. We wished we were able to come back another night but it was our last night in the area. Highly recommend!

I don't want to post this review! Every reader is forbidden from telling ANYONE (lest it become even harder to get a reservation!). By far the best, most authentic fine Italian BYOB eatery at the South Jersey Shore. Whether you are after seafood, steak, pasta, it will be prepared and presented beautifully by excellent, friendly and knowledgeable wait staff that work together as a well oiled machine to deliver every one of their diners a most memorable experience. I had the Sea Bass with crabmeat and capers, it was HUGE and delicious, accompanied by a side of pasta with garlic and oil- astonishing! My wife chose the tortelloni dish which is our server Colleen's favorite, and it was equally excellent. OK, yes, you should definitely reserve weeks before your upcoming week at the shore as it has been discovered, and I must hide my identity for revealing this secret. This message will self -destruct in 60 seconds LOL!

Had our wedding dinner here and they were absolutely amazing!

This place will always hold a special place in my heart bc my husband and I had our unofficial wedding reception dinner here! They were so lovely and I am so behind in posting how indebted to them we are, but I wanted to make sure the review detailed how amazing this place is. My husband and I planned our wedding very very last minute. At first, we were hell bent on just going to city hall and going to dinner here with our two witnesses and parents. Of course, nothing ever goes as planned and our party of six turned to twelve, to 15... and then eventually 20 (I know, I'm the worst). They never made me feel like we were being annoying after the million phone calls and drop ins explaining how we had to add another person to our reservation. Prior to our wedding, we dropped off a couple of items to personalize our night a little bit. When we arrived at 730, everyone was simply blown away. They cleared out their reservations so they could simply focus on us and it truly felt so special. The decorations, attention to detail, kindness, service, and food were absolutely top notch. They set up a little table with all our wine, pictures, and guestbook and even had a table for our cake. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much to Sunday Gravy and its staff- you truly are one of a kind and we hope to make more memories here in the years to come :) we love you!

Felt like we had to have one of their "award winning" caesar salads since they boast it on the menu. It was definitely sizable so order to share. We enjoyed it. Not sure it would go in the books but it was really nice. Could have used some more croutons but loved the fresh shaved parm. The French onion soup is comforting and the pappardelle bolognese was such a treat! And because dessert goes to a separate stomach, we found room for a slice of the key lime pie which was absolutely worth every calorie! Ventura's offshore location is definitely larger and comfier than the beach location. The tables are roomier and the parking is easy. Though it can get a bit noisy but we asked to be seated away from the bar area which kept the noise level comfortable enough for conversation. The service is friendly and the portions are awesome!
