This place serves up that ziti at near the surface temperature of the sun, in portion sizes that resemble the volume of lake superior, and all cheesed up to the point I would consider that the owner was at one point wronged by a lactose intolerant person. The service is disturbingly excellent. I am convinced that the waitress is in fact an android. Her kindness is off putting to me, as I typically prefer when waitstaff call me a "classless fool" or a "trifling reprobate" or even a "slimy little goo boy birthed from the loins of Ba'al himself" but perhaps I can adapt. read more

We ordered for the first time. The white pizza actually smelled and tasted like garlic. Other places say garlic or charge you for it. We added spinach to it and it was chopped and on every bite. we had ricotta on half there was plenty. My husband loved the regular pizza. Slightly off the road this is a great little BYOB Italian restaurant. Due to Covid scare not many people in the dining room which was fine with me. Also did not know I could bring wine which I will do next time. Obviously a hit with the locals since orders were stacked on the counter and a steady stream of customers. One waitress who also worked the takeout register so service a little slow but understandable. Order of Linguini with Alfredo sauce, Chicken & Broccoli with a requested Fra diablo sauce and a kids menu Spaghetti and Meatball. Two cups of soup, which were much larger than a cup. Tortellini in a chicken broth and Minestrone. Certainly did not skimp on soups and both were delicious as were the dinners. Think my wife ate her leftovers for two days. Mine only lasted one day. Is it my imagination or does some food taste better the next day. Great hot bread brought to table certainly a plus. Minor suggestion. LP has been my goto place for delicious soups for years but I have not eaten meals there on a frequent basis. LP's menu can be somewhat pricey especially the dinner specials. Service was a little slow and when dinner salads came out minestrone soup was not brought out to one of our dining companions. Even with a short staff because people don't want to work thanks to the government handouts. PAT is amazing. She was by herself working all the tables working her ass off. I love the roast beef wrap it's rare the way I like it. People need to be patient these days because people just don't want to work anymore. I ordered delivery using the Yelp app. The app said 45-60 min delivery time. The order was 4 pizzas to be delivered to a local brewery where I was throwing a small party for my friend's 40th bday. An hour came and went, no pizza... So I called and mentioned that the place isn't easy to find; thinking that may be why the delivery was late. The girl on the phone said the driver just left 5 mins ago and he would be there soon. Another 20 mins go by... no pizza. I call again and she said she would call the driver. 5 mins later, no pizza... no call back. So I called again and she said the deliveries were backed up. 10 mins after that, I noticed the driver is outside the building next door and is about to call me. In all, it took over an hour and a half to receive 4 pizzas. I spent a good half hour not enjoying the party because I was on the phone or outside waiting for pizza that I was told would be there any minute. The pizza was hot when it arrived, so I'm guessing I was lied to. I used to deliver pizza, and pizzas don't arrive hot after sitting in a bag for over 30 mins. So the delivery most certainly was never on the way when I called the first time. I won't be ordering from this place again. 2 stars because the pizza was good. read more

What was once a place I would give 5 stars, has really been in a decline for the past year and a half. Service has been very slow and I find myself coming in less and less. While the food is still great, it is only good if you can actually get it to your table while it is still dinner time! The new addition is potentially one of the ugliest and worst jobs I have ever seen a restaurant perform. It almost like the cabinet manufacturer, that was there before, just left one night, and they put in tables and chairs and the cheapest booths they could find (you sink right down to the floor in them; almost walked out the last time I was there because they were so terrible). I really hope this place can work out the kinks with their recent expansion because it is really a shame the condition it is operating in now. read more

Good food ...good prices..good portions. The owner and his staff work hard to give a good meal to the folks that come in here. Perhaps it is just the more mature crowd (with a couple bucks in their pockets) that appreciates the hot pizza or grilled sandwiches that are delivered to their table (relatively fast on most crowded evenings). Not sure why there seem to be negative reviews...perhaps the perspective of the reviewers? We have not had a bad experience in the years we have been going to this place...in fact the one time we did have a mix up on our order the owner was quick to make things right and deducted the mistake from our check..pretty gracious if you ask us. I have lived in the area for 8 years but never thought to stop. It just looked liked a typical pizza joint . Friends were over and we wanted to grab something to eat without waiting forever just to get in. We were pleasantly surprised with this great Italian dinner. Although they apologized for the short staff we never waited very long and the staff was very friendly . The 4 of us all ordered something different and we were pleasantly surprised .
