This was such an awesome experience! The space is newly renovated and super clean. Everything is very aesthetic and calming. All of their tools, countertops, and styling equipment were clean and well maintained. I had the pleasure of working with Amanda and Jade and they were great. They were communicative and attentive. They were meticulous and provided me a service catered to my scalp and hair needs. They used high quality products that were specific to my skin type. And above all, they were both kind and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. After the service, my extremely damaged and color treated hair was silky soft! I am amazed by the results. This scalp spa service is such a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to treat themselves to a nice spa experience!

I've opted to break my experience/review of my hair transplant procedure here down into segments…read morefor a bit of coherency The initial consult: Parsa Mohebis office was a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly on arrival, offering beverages and a book. Dr. Gujrati was right on time for our consultation and brought me into his office to explain the procedure and worked with me on how we could possibly achieve the desired look I was looking for. The consultation lasted about 45 minutes and was not rushed. Dr. Gujrati took my concerns into consideration and took an in depth, detailed approach. He analyzed my hair follicles, performed a miniaturization study, and took careful measurements to determine my face structure, and find a desired hair line that was both achievable, realistic, and what I was absolutely hoping for, possible with FUE. At this point I knew this was the right choice for me. I was sent home with a book on hair transplantation written by Dr. Mohebi, and kept in close contact by the clinic with any questions or concerns. I was also started on Oral Finasteride for 3 months to ensure I would not experience side effects prior to undergoing the surgery, as this would affect the results. Fortunately, however mild they may be, I did not experience these side effects. The Procedure: Being a medical professional myself in critical care, I often work with surgeries and am closely involved in both the procedures, and recovery process. On arrival for procedure day, I was greeted by Dr. Gujrati and his team where he explained how the procedure would be done step-by-step, which methods of mild sedation and local anesthesia would be used, when breaks would occur, and the overall plan for the day. I was then given a dose of Valium for relaxation and proceeded to the procedure room. In the procedure room, there was a time-out done before beginning to ensure everyone involved was on the same page, and we could proceed safely. Also will point out that you will be awake for the procedure, however I was not uncomfortable in any way. After checks were completed, we began. I was given regional anesthesia (the only mildly painful part of the procedure as it is a numbing injection into the scalp given via needle syringe). However, this quickly went away once the numbing effect started. Dr. Gujrati made a point to make sure that I let him and the team know if I felt any sort of pain or discomfort throughout the procedure, as they would quickly address the situation. Once it was confirmed my scalp was numb, the incisions for follicle placements were carefully made by Dr. Gujrati and donor harvesting began. I was relieved that Dr. Gujrati was very present throughout the entire 9 hour procedure, either in a hands-on manner, or by closely supervising the team of technicians (also highly skilled) who were performing the procedure. Although I was technically undergoing surgery, it almost felt like a spa day. I was comfortable, relaxed, entertainment and music was provided, as well as a delicious lunch. I even snuck in a couple of naps throughout the process. Once we were finally completely 9 hours later, the surgical sites were carefully assessed and I was provided a ride back to my hotel, and instructed to return the next morning for education on washing and post-op care for the next 10 days which were crucial for recovery. Finally, I was cleared to return home and provided with a gift bag (thanks!), as well as extensive educational material regarding what to expect throughout the entire recovery process, and how to care for my newly transplanted hair. Recovery: The recovery process went as expected based on the education provided by Dr. Gujarati and the Parsa Mohebi website. I was encouraged to call with any concerns and and even had a virtual visit roughly 10 days post op with Dr. Gujrati to assess the progress of recovery. Really it could not have been a smoother process. As I'm still technically in the recovery phase (10mo), I can just say it's going exactly how it was explained. With Dr.Gujrati having undergone a FUE procedure himself with Dr. Mohebi, it's immensely helpful as he explains his personal experiences throughout the process. Truly an expert in the field. Overall, I am EXTREMELY pleased with my experience with Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration, and my procedure performed by Dr. Gujrati and team in the San Francisco office. I could not recommend this office enough. While I am still not 100% complete with the recovery process which may take 12-18 months, growth could stop right now and I would still be amazed with the results. Sincerely, Thank you!

I closed my account in November 2025 and deleted the app because I found a product that I found to work better, and be a better overall fit for me personally. In February 2026 I was charged another $175 and shipped medication that I did not request, for a prescription that had already expired, on an account that I had been told by support team would be closed. The customer care team is a joke (most likely AI), and just keeps copy/pasting me their refund and cancelation policy. This company is banking on you not understanding how their program works, being overwhelmed by the process, and giving up. If you need care, take the time to visit a real doctor or use a service that is not built on a model that preys on its customers. The second star is for the efficacy of the product, which does work. So this whole "Start now for $39 is a complete predatory bait and switch tactic. They don't inform you of the cost of the medication prior to paying the $39 and then once they do and you're hit with sticker shock and say never mind, they tell you they can't refund your $39 that you paid for their multiple choice questionnaire to be evaluated by an automated system that spit out an automated approval message. Without insurance you will end up paying $150 just for the privilege of letting Hims write your prescription. I scheduled a consultation and was reassured that if I wasn't a good candidate, they would not perform the procedure. That was very important to me, as I specifically said I'd rather stay bald than have a poor result. That assurance turned out to be false. The consultant never disclosed that I have very limited donor hair, despite taking measurements. On the day of the procedure, the doctor--who arrived late and seemed rushed--re-evaluated me and reduced the plan from 2,600 grafts to 2,200, telling me to "lower my expectations." We had never even discussed expectations prior to that moment. I asked if my crown would be covered and was told, "This will cover it." It did not. I also received vague or dismissive answers when asking about medication or long-term planning. At that point, it was clear the consultation and the reality did not match. The procedure itself was mostly performed by assistants, with the doctor handling the incisions. The staff was professional, and I have no complaints about how the procedure was carried out--but that doesn't change the outcome. After 10 months, it became clear that I was not going to get a meaningful or natural-looking result. 2,200 grafts is simply not enough to provide proper coverage for someone at my level of hair loss. This is exactly the situation I said I wanted to avoid. I paid $16,000 and ended up with minimal cosmetic improvement that I'm honestly embarrassed by. Follow-up was minimal, and when I finally expressed my dissatisfaction around the 12-month mark, nothing meaningful was done. I was told they would "talk to the doctor," but there was no real resolution or accountability. Since then, I've contacted several private-practice clinics. Without even sharing details, just mentioning Bosley prompted the same response from multiple places: "We are not like Bosley." That alone speaks volumes. After dealing with excellent, honest doctors during five years of kidney cancer treatment, this experience was a stark contrast. My advice: Avoid large hair mills and go with a doctor who is directly invested in your outcome. Do your research--don't rely on brand name alone. When marketing is deceptive and sales agents masquerade as consultants for traveling contract doctors...Red Flag Ps. Really. You're interested now? I was hoping you guys would have been interested in doing a good job before I got to the procedure. It's clear all you wanted was the check.
