Sips happens but don't understand why the Blushing Berry drink was so bland. It tasted like tap water with a splash of coconut milk with a small amount of strawberry puree at the bottom. There was zero green tea flavor. The service was friendly and fun park to enjoy the drink. Just disappointed the drink so bad, I ended up discarding it.

Came in for the pastries and left with mixed impressions. The fruit tarts and lemon tarts were fresh. I particularly love the crème brûlée tart which is creamy in a crisp shell. I appreciated learning that all pastries are baked fresh at this location before being distributed to others. That said, the Dubai chocolate croissant, priced at $12, didn't live up to expectations, neither in flavor nor in value. It felt a little gimmicky to me. The croissant was a little dense and I couldn't taste the kaffi in here. Also, there are no price tags on the pastries, so you have to ask about each one. On the bright side, the decor is stylish and the staff were friendly.

Visiting Sunday Press at Camden Park in the morning was a treat! For the food that we tried, I'd say 4 out of 5 stars... but rounding up to 5 stars for stellar service and nice ambiance-- Steven was super welcoming the moment we walked in, patient when we ogled at the pastry display, and checked up on us while we dined. The croissants are more like a very buttery brioche texture than a true flaky, laminated croissant that viennoiserie is known for... but still tasty! ** Le crookie (cookie croissant)-- warmed up and soft, the bready brioche was scrumptious with bites of the cookie. For a super sweets fan, I think putting some cookie dough inside the croissant would have been nicer since it was served sliced but with nothing in the middle. ** Crème brûlée croissant swirl-- Fun and messy to eat with the crispy brûlée shell contrasting with the soft bread and custard. The sweet runny custard could be a little thicker. The fruits tasted fresh :) ** Lemon blueberry croissant swirl-- I also think the lemon curd filling could be a little thicker, as it was quite runny, but it was sweet, tart, and studded with blueberries inside, yum! Again that croissant part was more like a brioche texture. ** Turkey croissant sandwich-- my sister had this one but gave it a thumbs up and demolished it. The croissant looked like the same brioche texture rather than the laminated flakiness, and it came with fries as well. She gobbled it all up! I'm glad we visited this location, as most of the walls are lined with big windows that let in the natural sunlight, and you can see the dog park and the rest of the green area outside. They also make everything fresh at this location (and drive it to their other locations for the day). I'm definitely visiting again to try their salads and other desserts (tiramisu, I'm looking at you!) :D Steven surprised us at the end of our meal with a cookie packed to go with a handwritten "happy birthday" from the chef since we were celebrating my bday, super cute and excited to try it, yay! (There is a parking lot for the park itself that spills over into the library parking lot if full. Restrooms are the ones in the park, and they're quite clean!)

Sunday Press is hard to pinpoint when I try to rate it... On one hand, the location, in the middle of an adorable city park, is just gorgeous. The building is spectacular, architecture, tall windows and all. And the pastries look amazing, the taste is also good, meets expectations of freshness and baking expertise. The almond croissant was a tad on the dryer side, but still okay. On the other hand, the food menu is a bit disappointing. I will specifically refer to the cheeseburger here that two of my colleagues ordered. It looked like the saddest cheeseburger I've seen in some time, something I'd expect to see in a cheap joint, not an uppety bakery like Sunday Press. While the fries looked fine, the cheeseburger itself was as simple and plain as could be: white buns, meat, yellow cheese, presumably spices. That's it. No frills. That took me aback. My party members ate it without complaint, but they also didn't seemed super excited about it. Cookies and coffee did much better on the presentation and taste scale. Staff was nice but forgot a few items and we had to remind them. Perhaps they were busy. It was, afterall, the weekend... The parking situation is also worth mentioning because it was, well, impossible. Too few parking spots mean there's no room for dinners, and borderline angry security staff rudely tell poor drivers trying to pull in to just go away and park elsewhere. That's not acceptable, and I'm certain it drove away business from Sunday Press that day. We had thankfully parked across the street, but I felt bad for the other drivers who were treated like dirt. So it's a good place to bring kids, I think, or just for a quick coffee and pastry, but park elsewhere if you can. It's not worth the hassle.

Cute little cafe! Great place to work or just a casual meet up. You order at the register and they bring out the food/drinks to you. Also, a drive through is an option as well!

Sunday press is right next to the new Camden Park in the westchase area. Parking is available at the park's parking lot but it's very small. Advise to park at the library and walk over the bridge to get to the shop. It's beautifully decorated and large windows that allow plenty of natural lighting. Pretty good number of tables and seating inside. During peak time, community seating may occur. There's even more space outdoors with tables and chairs. Perfect for those nice weather days to enjoy and people watch. They have online ordering available but during our 2nd visit, it seems to have been turned off. The online ordering would have definitely helped when it got busy when the line was out the door. Not sure if there was a break in the system. I had luckily came early on a Sunday morning and was able to get our coffee before the crowd arrived. It is counter service. Order at the counter then wait till your name is called. We ordered the cold brew and the honey sea salt latte. The coffee was decent but not strong. It got pretty crowded around 11am. I was hoping the line would go down but by 1pm, the line was still out the door. Would have wanted to order a matcha but I didn't think it was worth the wait. The online ordering world have been great in this circumstance. The croissants were definitely enticing. The taco was pretty pricy for 3. Around $18. There wasn't any salsa available. Just Tabasco sauce so it was kind of dry. I think Sunday Press is a great addition and it compliments the park well. Allowing families to have fun outdoors and be able to have options for food and coffee/tea without having leave the park. Very chill and cool vibes.

We had a delicious Dubai chocolate croissant.

The food was great. Very impressed with the menu. Service was good. Ambiance was good. Part of the outdoor park was closed which sucked. But the part that was ope was nice. They had visible security so it felt safe. Would recommend!

    Gotta try

How things can change... 4 people working, 3 customers. Long wait. Boy it's gone down hill. Customer service was sad. I hope this restaurant lasts... past this hard time. Seems like they traded good customer service for cheap hourly.

Sunday Press cafe is inside Westchase's new Camden Park. My chilaquiles were surprisingly delicious! However, the staff is young and needs training. They were not very busy, yet very visibly overwhelmed. There was zero urgency and they struggled big time.

They managed to keep the same relaxed neighborhood vibe people love while giving it a much more modern, polished, and upscale feel. The updated design, lighting, TVs and overall atmosphere look incredible and make the space feel fresh without losing its personality. They still have the spinning drink wheel! The outdoor seating especially feels elevated now and makes for the perfect Houston brunch spot or night out. One of the best parts about NextDoor is that it's connected to Hungry's, which means you get full access to their menu while enjoying the lounge atmosphere. Being able to order everything from cocktails and appetizers to full meals while at a bar is a game changer. The food is consistently good, the drinks are strong (especially the frozen options) well-made, and everything comes out quickly. What keeps me coming back year after year is the consistency. The staff has always been welcoming and attentive, the crowd is chill, and it never feels overly pretentious or chaotic. It's one of those rare spots that works for everything, whether it's happy hour after work, date night, catching up with friends over drinks on the patio or a solo adventure. Love seeing a longtime Houston favorite continue to evolve while still delivering the same great experience that's kept me coming back for years. Definitely one of my go-to spots on Memorial Drive. My only suggestion is to tell the younger staff members to be conscious of their conversations while guest are dining nearby. I love people watching but I heard a lot of things. It appears Hungry's uses the bar area like a break/training room or to do other tasks like rolling utensils in napkins.

We were greeted immediately by the host and seated right away--honestly, that was the smoothest and best service we received all night. After that... things slowed down a lot. It took forever for our waitress to come to the table. I tried to give grace since it was Valentine's Day, but the place wasn't even crowded, so the delay was confusing. Now let's talk about the lavender lemon drop--because when it finally arrived? Whew. Delicious. Smooth, flavorful, and dangerously sneaky. I genuinely couldn't taste the alcohol, which is both a compliment and a warning . The wait time for the drink was long, but the payoff was there. For food, we ordered the Trap Trio (egg rolls, chicken sliders, and wings). Everything tasted good, though we asked for grilled chicken sliders and received fried instead. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. Still enjoyable overall. I also had the shrimp Caesar salad. The shrimp were well-seasoned and not rubbery (thankfully), but the salad itself didn't really stand out--just okay, nothing memorable. Overall, Foxtrap is a nice vibe spot with good drinks and decent food. I really hope the service improves and that the waitstaff receives more consistent training, because with better service, this place could truly shine.
