Ordered on Uber Eats and... how can I say this? I'm white and could have made better, fresher Thai food. Pad Thai was essentially only noodles. Where's the chicken, bean sprouts, peanut? Spring rolls were frozen store bought. Soup and curry bland AF. The the soup wasn't even cooked. The potato and other vegetables in the curry were completely raw. Wow. Clear that whoever runs this place has no understanding of food. Order screams: Doesn't give AF

ordered tofu tom yum via doordash -- food was prepared and delivered promptly. i will say though, i wish the broth was less sweet and was sad to see i only got 1 tomato wedge. for the price point , i had hoped for something with more flavor. perhaps dining in would yield a different experience, so ill check it out anyways if im in the area

9/12/2024 - We were super hungry after catching a show at the Funhouse Lounge right down the street.

I did not know about this spot until I began doing delivery driving and then I discovered this is here, that they would always have my orders accurate and fast plus that they seemed pretty empty yet open till 4am! My friend I go out with more is a vegan so I love going to places where we both have a lot to chose from. We were both excited. At first I thought the guy behind the counter was abrupt but I suspect he is just resting angry face since he even said goodbye specifically to us when he was leaving after he was off and another person clearly was taking over for the later shift. He was super helpful though answering our many questions since nether of us had been there before. We ordered way too much food knowing we were going to be swimming in leftovers so we ordered good items for that. They have a specials board so I ordered heir orange chicken from that as I did not see it on the menu. I am super picky and this was some of the best orange chicken I have had. Their coating is so good and unique - perfectly crispy... And then the sauce is that perfect not syrup yet also not an assault on you with citrus like some are. I was amazed! I also got the shrimp salad rolls and their chicken satay. It was all delicious with gloriously tasty peanut sauce. And I had crazy leftovers I am still working through. I do have to also say that their prices are great too! Their location is excellent and I have not ever had an issue grabbing parking though I also have not been there during what could be an issue. Revolution Hall is directly next door and I feel that could be a challenge or parking BUT they are easy enough to get through food delivery or even just order and pick up!

You have to love that Sunee is open very late. Service you receive depends on who is working, but it's friendly enough for late night. There is always plenty of people picking up take out and patrons eating in. The decor is pretty with many traditional items. The food, decent and tasty. I always find Thai food on the more expensive side especially for vegan. The pad kee mao is good and tofu is cooked well.

Enjoyed the Spicy Chicken Wings, Pad Ga Prow stir fry with beef, with a Singha beer! Highly recommended! Wonderful location, across the street from a great microbrewery & Gastropub Grand Fir Brewing as well as Revolution Hall!

Such a scam. I saw on the UberEats app that it was buy one get one free, but when I received the food, the portions were much smaller--almost half the normal size. Especially the rice, which was tiny. They told me it was because I ordered the combo. I've never seen a promotion like this before, and honestly it feels like they're scamming customers.

I've grown a beard in the time I've been waiting for my noodles and curry. Nice people but bring a sleeping bag.

Yummy! Great service and love how close it is to Revolution Hall. I would definitely eat here again! The Pad See Ew was especially good.

At 2am this is 5-star Thai red curry. At lunch or dinnertime it's 3-star Thai red curry.

The pad Thai was all noodles. In all less than half an egg and part of a chicken wing. The rest was noodles.

Food soooo good I forgot to take a picture! We're visiting from Texas so expectations were high!…read moreAnd we were not disappointed! Starter: Field Green Salad: Sooooo delicious, a perfect summer salad, the apple, pickled shallots, coconut, and tamarind made for a beautiful marriage of flavor. Sweet and a bit sour, bright and light. White curry: 1000000/10. Absolutely perfect. Brisket Fried rice: 8/10. Great smoky flavor, rice a bit too crunchy for my liking but the smokiness reminded me of Nigerian rice so I liked it a lot! Service: Taylor was our server and she was just the cutest and most delightful person. Really made us feel seen and heard and treated us like we were family and gave us great recs for things to do. Drink: Approved By Chef-Very good and refreshing. ALSO THE MUSIC WAS INCREDIBLE! Such a good vibe. The hype is worth it. It was the perfect dinner to a perfect day in a beautiful city!

The Smoked Pork Belly Krapao was definitely on the Thai‑spicy side, with a real kick, but still very flavorful and enjoyable. The wait time is usually around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on when you go. We went during dinner, so the wait was on the longer side. Our server was wonderful -- she checked in on us often and made sure we were taken care of. I didn't enjoy my initial cocktail, the Life of Luxury, because it tasted too herbal for my liking. She immediately offered to switch it out, and that small gesture really improved my overall experience.

5 star food with excellent service - very welcoming and knows how to upsell lol…read more Food Orderd: 1. Fried Chicken Roti Combo - holy fried chicken crispy, combo comes with 1x leg and 1x thigh cut into two pieces. Curry was delicious and balance, excellent when dipped with the crispy roti or fried chicken. Pickled veggies were a great pairing and sweet and sour added another dimension. 2. Pad Thai - glistening noodles served inside an egg omelet. Very solid pad thai - sweet, sour, salty. Don't forget to add the fresh shrimp, these were cooked perfectly and plump. I recommend the restaurant should take the shrimp tail shell off for us. 3. Thai Basil Lemonade - solid lemonade, NEED more basil flavor. Overall, I'd come here again to eat and try other items as well. I'll give it a 5 star for now but more 4.5.

Popped into Hat Yai this evening for the first time and very glad we did. The food was delicious…read moreand vibe was bustling. I'll start by saying this place is definitely not big so come with the expectation that you might have to wait for a table. There's only about 8-10 tables in the place and it's definitely geared towards smaller groups. Regardless we ordered at the front and then were able to find a seat. Wound up ordering the combo to try and get a taste of everything. The portions were solid and everything was super tasty. The chicken is perfectly breaded and delicious. It's a bit of a messy meal so just come with that in mind. Have a bunch of different options that also looked tasty. Will have to come back and try again. Service was fine. They were kind and cleared the table. Water is self serve at front of the restaurant and they clearly do a fair amount of takeout. Cool local spot to definitely check out.
