Great new coffee shop bc it's open til 10pm on weekends! Most nearby coffee shops close by 7-8pm, so it's great having a new lounge/study place open later. The coffee menu has impressive variety w/ Turkish Coffee, Adeni Chai, Karak Tea, and several flavored lattes :) There are some unique pastries such as: blackberry muffins, Huber's peach granola bars, vanilla tres leches, spanikopita & lemon meringue cheesecake. As for the interior, it's bright w/ natural light and has cozy comfy furniture. Bathrooms are also clean and private. This may be a new highlight for Louisville coffee lovers!

This place is so cute! I've never had a mango matcha anywhere before and this was delicious. My partner got a Cortado and said the espresso was decent--smooth but not very bold. Employees were very kind through all my questions! Overall I really enjoyed the morning here!

A quiet place for a coffee date or productivity. It is open till 10pm on weekends. Their lemon meringue cheesecake was very delicious. They also have Mediterranean coffee on the menu.

Super cute inside. Great interior with comfortable seating. Clean! Coffees has been great. Had a cold latter the other day. Perfect! Tired the beef empanada and saffron latter (warm) today. Both very tasty. I was surprised by the saffron coffee....really good. Not too sweet and nice flavor!

Regular sized salted caramel latte and what's left of my lemon raspberry muffin.

My wife and I are staying at an Airbnb and noticed this place a few doors down from where we are and it had a "soft opening" sign out front so we made a note to stop by. The shop has an inviting interior and is clean and bright. They have all the standard coffee and tea options along with some specialty drinks, Turkish coffee, matcha, etc. I got a hit salted caramel latte and a raspberry lemon muffin. Both came to me piping hot. The latte was a good size. It had a good flavor but honestly I don't know what to compare it to since I have never had a salted caramel latte. I have however had a raspberry lemon muffin and this one was very good. It had a nice blend of the flavors and a good consistency. It is a nice little coffee shop and if I lived in the area I could see myself making this a regular place to stop and spend some time. I hope their opening is a big success.

Great ambiance, and the lady greeted me by saying I was really pretty. I had a chicken curry roll both times (I don't know what you call it, except that I had to order it and also they ran out the third time I tried to order it). I had Tres Leche cake and tiramisu. Saffron latte twice. All in all, just a wonderful experience. Enjoy my photos.

I just tried this spot for the first time and I will definitely be back. It's got a great neighborhood feel. Cozy, chill and delicious. And the people are cool. I ordered the signature latte and strawberry danish. Highly recommend!

I drive by this every day and I'm so glad that I stopped! I absolutely love the vibe and all of the natural wood, the furniture set up is perfect for working solo or in a group. Oh and definitely try the Spanish Latte

Delicious coffee drinks, but the wait time for them is too long and the prices are way too high.

The staff is so nice but the whole place seems artificial for a coffee shop. Gotta let it be broken in

I came for the…read morecoffee, but I stayed for the chicken's feet that would grant me protection and luck for only $5, the multiple sage bundles to cleanse my chakras, and the incense sticks that might remove a hex or give me divine powers once burned. Witches Brew is a place to find all sorts of magical things, but it is also just a divine (in every sense of the word) place to sit and have a hot beverage and a pastry. It's worth a visit to this coffee shop just to see the decor. It's purple everywhere, with mood lighting, mirrors, gothic tchotchkes, creepy dolls, skulls and other fun and slightly ominous curio. There are cool things in every corner, and even though I had intended on getting my coffee to go, I decided to sit for a while because coffee sometimes just tastes better when you're surrounded by cobwebs and broomsticks. I got an Americano, which is usually my go-to if I don't know how strong the house drip will be. The Americano was nice and smooth. I didn't have to wait long at all for my coffee. I visited on a weekday during the morning, and there were two people ahead of me, but the line went fast and my coffee came out quickly.

The walls and every corner are filled with witch-related artwork, decorations, and even merchandise. It's fun to look around because there's something interesting everywhere you turn. The coffee itself was pretty standard, nothing particularly standout, but the atmosphere is really what makes this place special. If you enjoy spooky or Halloween-style vibes, you'll probably love it here. They also offer free Wi-Fi, so it could be a good spot for studying or getting some work done. Personally, I found the ambiance a bit too spooky for focusing, especially at night. I am just not a big fan of that kind of setting (haha). Overall, it was a good experience and definitely memorable in its own way. I can see why people would really enjoy it, so I'm giving it 5 stars! And server was very nice.

In a world of celestial dollar chains, choose your bro. Many Louisvillians do but it should be more. Slight rant over. To the surprise of no one, a HB Highlands location (Mid City Mall) was packed. This worked to our advantage because it gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu. Yes, I know the usual staples but I am wont to choosing seasonal delicacies at coffee shops. Everyone's had coffee. I want to know what makes you special/different. Being the holiday season, I opted for the peppermint pattie cold brew -- to go. It was an unseasonably warm day so getting a cold brew in winter wasn't entirely unhinged. The ordering process was seamless and polite. I paid (for my crew's drinks) and stepped off to the side to wait. After a reasonable amount of time, the drinks were ready. Being that the drink was to go, I didn't have the option of judging it by appearance. It smelled nice, though. As we left and I took a sip, however, something was missing. It was creamy and chocolatey but I tasted no peppermint. Like, none. Which is an issue for a peppermint pattie drink. My palate is fairly discerning. And peppermint is a fairly distinct flavor. I took another sip. Nope. Again, creamy, chocolatey and coffee...y, but no peppermint. Being that we were out the door and down the street (and the place was packed), I didn't return to address it but it was a minor let down. That said, I happily drank the coffee. Rounding up so as to be aligned with the good vibes of the season. Hopefully karma is circular.

Personally, there's a few other a little ways down the road away from the bardstown area that are much friendlier with WAY better coffee. Oh yeah, the coffee was mid. It was just ok. I wouldn't return for it but I'm also not mad about having tried it. So if it's all you have, close, in a pinch, it's good enough.

I asked about the bon bon flavors, since they were not labeled and it seemed that most of them has the same filling even though the outside was different. Mm... excited about that. But still got a few. Also got a caramel, which was rich, delicious and a great consistency. The bon bons were fine. Nothing to write home about. I also got a swiss roll. The flavor was okay, the cream was good, but it felt a bit confused in flavor and I didn't love it. But worse yet, there was a string in it that I unfortunately did put in my mouth and chew. Lastly I tried a cinnamon lollipop. It was hard to get the wrapper off of it as it stick the the pop. The shape was odd and jagged. The flavor was a nice spicy cinnamon, but unfortunately the texture seemed off. It was hard, but also sticking to my teeth, but not in the way you expect. So I tossed it. I hate to add on to what is already a pretty critical review, but as soon as I walked it just felt a little cluttered and uninspired. There were display shelves, but they looked a little dusty and ignored. I think calling yourself a French patisserie just puts an absolutely high standard on your shoulders, and for me this was (at least this visit) a let down.
