We really like Sunflour for pastries, breakfast sandwiches and coffee! Its definitely more of a bakery and not necessarily a coffee shop but they have both, of course. We recently got their massive cinnamon roll warmed up and it was absolutely delicious. I could not stop eating it! Other treats worth mentioning - any sandwich on the cheddar biscuit, breakfast burrito and sugar cookie with sprinkles. Everything has been delicious and so fresh tasting! Love this spot.

I love everything here. From the seasonal pastries to the coffee, sandwiches and vibes. But let's be real, in the summer, it's all about those Hazelnut Orange Rolls. They're not just a treat, they're crack wrapped in dough (and I'm not sorry). The best part? Everything is homemade with so much love and care. You can taste it in every bite, and that's what keeps me coming back. If I'm ever missing, just follow the trail of crumbs. You'll find me at Sunflour.

Last Thursday - Sunflour Baking Company I did avocado Panini, it was excellent just needed some sort of dipping sauce I think. To be honest, I didn't ask if they had anything so that's on me. But it was done on homemade sourdough. Tried a variety of sweet treats, one of which was gluten-free and vegan. The lemon donut! Not gonna lie my absolute favorite was a lemon poppyseed muffin. I could've eaten a whole loaf if they had one. Also tried the cheddar cheese biscuit and for me, it was great! I really really liked it. The pesto provolone roll was quite good. I was trying to figure out some of the flavors and I know it had to be herbs. The coconut macaroon was very good. It is sweet as was the lemon cupcake so be prepared! All in all, I will definitely be back and the young ladies working there were really hands-on and attentive. I did notice that there were people they are working on their computer or meeting - seemed like a pretty sweet deal. Yes, pun intended! Oh! I forgot to add that I had gotten a coupon as part of a move-in (welcome to the neighborhood) mailer that I guess everyone gets from local businesses. Definitely worth it! Question: for anyone that knows, why is there a Mecklenberg food tax on the receipt? Just curious, not complaining I don't ever remember seeing it but then again perhaps I wasn't looking lol! Who gets it? Where does it go?

My first time visiting this location was pleasant. My niece loves the place, so we ventured in to pick up lunch on a Friday afternoon. It was a tad busy, but the wait wasn't too long. The BLT was something special. I swapped out the standard bread for a croissant, which elevated it I'm sure. The Strawberry Lemon Fizz drink was amazing and refreshing, but it'll leave you wanting a bottle of water afterward. The staff was friendly and helpful as we asked at least 5 questions about the menu. I'd recommend giving this place a shot.

Vibrant ambiance with helpful and friendly staff. With the tall glass windows, this place brings the beautiful sunlight in but they keep the temperature inside nice and cool. The salted caramel cheesecake is a delightful dessert with the right balance of cheese and sweetness. It has a creamy mousse-like texture that will leave you wanting for another one for to-go.

My first time visiting this hidden gem, and upon entering you're adorned by quaint French music. The staff is chill and friendly (thanks again Manisa (spelling?), and the pastries and breakfast sandwiches are to die for! I ordered the #7 Breakfast Burrito and it was beyond delicious. Definitely will be back very soon!

I'm a fan! The cinnamon role was delicious both a little warm and right out of the box. The croissants was light and fluffy. Still looking for a spot more butter to give it that rich flavor. Service was quick and accommodating. It was mid-afternoon and the place was hopping. It's a small coffee shop feel.

This place was nice! The food and service were solid, I got a cappuccino and a croissant sandwich and both were good, especially as I could sub in gruyere cheese. Would have been nice if it came with a little side dish (I guess I could have paid extra but it would have been a nice touch, my large tray was looking a bit bare). Also there was no wifi even though the details were listed on a sign, so I couldn't stay and try their lunch offerings while I worked there.

I don't think this place has enough exposure. i stumbled across it being new to the area and they are my new late Saturday "grabbing brunch" spot. the croissant was bacon egg and cheese but was huge. they also have other breakfast burritos, wrap, and other bread types. While waiting on the order I was able to watch other employees create, ice, and decorate cakes. they all looked like they were having so much fun. I was here kind of late in the morning, like right around noon, so they bakery options that I wanted were sold out. to me that just meant these baked goodie must be really good. While here I ordered coffee and that came out pretty quickly so i had to try not to sip on it too much before my sammie was done. Portions are great here and enough food for 2 to split. I have returned to continue supporting this business and plan on continuing! Again, a little hidden gem so try them out!

Such a great lunch spot! Cheerful, bright interior with counter service and the most amazing sandwiches! They have seasonal sandwiches but all their sandwiches feature fresh, healthy ingredients. I especially love anything on their rosemary bread. Their baked goods are fantastic and I especially love their muffins!

How do you not give this place five stars? The food and service are always great. The pasties are amazing! And don't sleep on their sandwiches. I highly recommend the sugar rolls. They are light and flaky with sugar that will make you want another one. Their muffins are some of the best in Charlotte. The blueberry is delicious, but I love the Snickerdoodle muffin! They also make excellent coffee. I usually get the iced caramel latte. Sunflour has a decent amount of seating inside. There is also a patio for the warmer months. Please go check it out!

I love Sunflour bakery! Everything is so fresh and they use as many local products as possible. They also make everything from scratch - no mixes. Great coffee and environment with outside seating option. Friendly staff! The egg cheddar and avocado sandwich on sourdough was amazing.

    Tiramesu

The tiramisu had an off sour taste, cake was tough and too much cocoa that hits your lungs. I hate to give a bad review. I absolutely love baked goods and this was a disappointing treat that was put in the trash. Wishing you a makeover and happier employees.

You can buy rubs, marinades, salads, sides, bread, rolls, desserts, etc. They also have frozen wild game if that is what you are into. It was unfortunate that half their store did not have power as we were not able to see any of the meat or fish on display. iI was ok we were not able to hand select our steaks or fish - the store has such a great reputation we were not too worried about what we would end up with. We decided to order 4 prime marinated NY strip and 2 tuna steaks. They make theur own naribade so we had to try it. We also wanted to try one of frozen pre-made meals so we chose the sausage and pasta with vodka sauce. While in line to checkout we saw more than a few people with trays of cinnamon buns so we had to try them as well. This is a summery of our purchased food:. The cinnamon rolls were grainy. Not smooth. I think they were old (I had to pull them from the back). The steaks had a great flavor as the marinade was really good. Three of the 4 steaks were over cooked because we were given 4 different sized steaks. 2 got burnt the third was well done....$60 wasted. The tuna was good but again they gave us one large steak and one thinner one so the smaller was was dry....another $15 wasted. If I can make any suggestion....do not make a purchase without seeing what you are buying. $136.00 later I can say I was disappointed because of the unevenness it was cooked improperly. 4 stars because the cook is partially to blame. 3 stars otherwise. The sales person is the first person that should know better than to sell meat and fish the way they did. Ruined my Christmas meal. Only 1 of us ate. :(

It was an Instagram post, a visual siren's song of a Cuban sandwich that first beckoned me, only to find myself further enchanted by the allure of a house-smoked pastrami Reuben sandwich. Unable to resist, I marked my calendar for a weekend lunch escapade. I boldly ordered both the Cuban and the Pastrami Reuben. Yes, both! Half of each was thoughtfully boxed to prolong the gastronomic joy into the evening. For those whose appetites wander to different cravings, fear not, for the Italian embrace of NY-Style pizza and dishes stands ready to satisfy. And for those in pursuit of libation, a full bar awaits. The Cuban sandwich, priced at an inviting $13, was a masterclass in sandwich craft. The house-baked Cuban bread, lovingly baked with bacon fat, cradled house-roasted mojo pork, ham, mustard, pickles, and Swiss cheese--a press sealing the deal. This, my fellow foodies, is the Cuban sandwich of my dreams. The mojo pork moist & tender, the Swiss cheese a gooey delight, and the balance of mustard and pickles, a harmony of flavors that danced in my mouth. Next up, the house-smoked pastrami Reuben, at $14, a spectacle on thick slices of house-baked sourdough rye bread. Each element, from the buttery crispy sourdough rye to the savory thousand island dressing, melded with the Swiss cheese and, in my case, sans sauerkraut. The pastrami, oh the pastrami, smoked in-house to a level of perfection that would make NYC delis weep with envy. Mike Libretto, the maestro behind the curtain, has channeled the essence of NYC's Sarge's Deli into every bite. And for the insatiably hungry, a mere $5 promises a double mountain of meat, though I found the standard serving more than ample. Ease of access? Check, with parking aplenty and free. Comfort? Assured, amidst a dining area that welcomes with open arms. My visit, at the peak of Saturday's leisurely hours, found the place abuzz with satisfied patrons. The soundtrack? A soothing blend of Norah Jones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Jack Johnson that serenaded the dining experience. Savannah, the ambassador of Junior's/Libretto's at the order counter, navigated the menu with an expertise that was both impressive and reassuring. And Mike, the visionary behind this culinary haven, radiates a pride in his offerings. Support this beacon of local business, and treat yourself to a meal that resonates with the soul seeking Cuban and Reuben sandwich enthusiasts.
