This is my go-to sushi place in the Valrico area! They have a huge selection of sushi and everything I've tried is absolutely delicious. I've always had great service and the prices are very fair for the quality. The place is small and can get busy especially in the evenings and on weekends but the atmosphere is inviting and they have a mix of booths, tables, and a sushi bar you can sit at. Service and atmosphere were on point. I will say that the biggest complaint I have is with the sushi. The most important thing about sushi is the rice that they use. The rice was overcooked and very soft. The grains are large, and it overtakes the taste of the sushi because it all tastes like mush once you finish eating. read more

Came here with the family. They love this place and wanted to share. Came in and the place was pretty packed. When originally arriving you'd never thing that this little place was a sushi place. The way it looks from the outside and the name makes it appear more like a healthy sandwich place or vegan place. Don't be fooled by the name. Go in and take in this amazingness!! Originally said it'd be a long wait given we were a party of 7 but my BIL went in and helped arrange two high top tables that would fit our party. Our waitress was amazing! This is one of my top favorite places to get Japanese food!!! Their sushi quality is good and they offer sushi that not everyone has like uni and toro. I had my first taste of toro (tuna belly) which is scrumptious! I've loved all the hot plate entrees and sushi I've ordered. The only thing I'll say is sometimes it isn't consistent. My bf and I loved the Santa Roll so much we went back to order it but it wasn't quite the same the following time. The staff are friendly and service is good. So my husband found this place and we decided to give it a go. It's a small but welcoming restaurant, with a lot of attention paid to the quality of their food. We didn't see the curry on the lunch menu, and asked our waiter, and were told that we can still order it (yusss) We got an appetizer of gyoza, pan seared. They were cooked perfectly and they give you SIX per order, unlike a lot of places that only serve 5 This restaurant was busy even during lunch, which was a very good sign. We love visiting this little place for sushi. The staff is awesome, very friendly and accommodating. While the restaurant is quite small, it is always clean and fairly well organized. When my husband and I go on dates here, we love to sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs create rolls. We weren't looking for sushi or anything of the sort but fate insisted otherwise and I'm glad she did. The fries oysters are crisp and delicate. The Tako Yaki is delicious but the sesame balls are second to none! Warm, toasty, slightly sweet balls of perfection. The sushi is fresh, made to order, very balanced flavor and executed consistently on each visit. I've tried about 9 different rolls so far and have not been disappointed by any.
