Proceed with caution, especially with Invisalign. The treatment plan was not comprehensive and incomplete. After years of treatment, the gap between my teeth was not fixed. After consulting with three orthodontists, I learned that the treatment plan recommended by Dr Bhandari was not optimal. Save your time and money. Best Doctor Ever! Me and my recently moved to Dublin and I had a root canal with another doctor which is not successful. Came to her for consultation for my existing root canal, she did a complete check-up for all the teeth's. Went over the cleaning habits to avoid any future damages. She also took care of my insurance. Also she referred me to a Endo specialist, no only that as she knew its was my only day off so she personally called and texted multiple doctors for them to give a consultation. I also had my partner visit her the next day and she did a full deep cleaning and followed up with us next day again about the procedure. Wow! I always put off dentist visits because they are the scariest appointments for me, but once I walked in to Sunflower Dental, all my worries were soothed by Dr. Bhandari's warm welcome. I was addressed immediately and was given clear explanations of what we were doing today. My insurance is giving me a hard time with switching physicians and instead of turning me away, Dr. Bhandari proactively took my x-rays, examined my mouth, and gave me a cleaning. She was very clear, methodical, and gentle in everything she did. She even tried calling my insurance to take care of the issue for me, but of course, it takes a miracle to get ahold of insurance companies. I, also, appreciated how Dr. Bhandari would show and explain to me what she sees in my mouth and the options I could take to address them. I highly recommend Sunflower Dental. I have been a patient for roughly two years, and I can say that Dr. Bhandari truly cares about her patients and does everything she can make them feel comfortable, as well as save them money. For example, I came in for my biannual cleaning, but prior to performing the cleaning Dr. Bhandari double checked my insurance and informed me that they wouldn't cover it because it was not past the six month mark from my previous one. Visited dr Bhandari on a living social deal. Appointment scheduling, registration process was event less, went smoothly. Dental assistant proceeded to set me up for X-ray etc. one is always apprehensive about sitting in a dental chair, especially since I end up choking a lot, if not handled properly, and all kinds of contraptions are stuck in my mouth, for extended period of time. This was not a pleasant experience. Assistant hardly explained what she was doing, just dumped x-ray protective gear on my chest without explaining what she was doing. Kept on talking to staff walking by while taking x-rays. And I did not expect dental treatment room open to the corridor. Hardly a reassuring demeanor. Doctor came and explained x-rays etc to me and then told me office staff will come and walk me thru the options for next steps. Office staff came and explained me billing plan options for deep cleaning. When told that I scheduled this appointment for regular cleaning, and will schedule Deep cleaning after Jan., when my new insurance kicks in, abruptly removed my protective apron, and told me we are done and I can go now. That was a very rude and unprofessional end to my visit. Upon my insisting to see doctor, she came and told me under her professional guidelines, if deep cleaning is required, she will not do regular cleaning. Don't know where it is written, and why this was not disclosed to me when living social sold me the voucher for regular cleaning. Essentially I had gone for regular cleaning, was not given that treatment, and was given some piece of lies about professional guidelines and unceremoniously asked to leave when I did not agree to their around $ 1000 deep cleaning plan. Scamsters, that's what I believe they are, unless I don't know how this profession is run. read more

I found Sunflower Dental through yelp, and after reading several positive reviews, decided to go there when one of my fillings fell out. Upon arrival I was very frank with Dr. Bhandari about my fears. The first visit was very difficult for me, but both she and her staff were exceptionally kind and encouraging, doing everything in their power to put my mind at ease, reassuring me that my fears were nothing to be ashamed of, and explaining what was happening (and why) every step of the way. Following the initial visit, I had about 3 more for various other cavities. Over the course of these visits, Dr. Bhandari worked to establish customized numbing routine that works for me, and I can honestly say my last visit went very smoothly! I rather fine it hard to believe all the 5 star reviews. My experience was much different. Cleanliess is very important to me and the waiting room was dirty. I also felt the instruments were not handled in as sterile manner as I have seen in other offices. To have a full mouth x-ray done, they shoot you 18 times with this hand held machine, needing film to be placed in and out of your mouth numerous times. I just recently started going here. I have always had alot of problems with my teeth, and I've never had a positive experience with fillings or cleanings until I started here! I had a filling done and she was very gentle and patient with me. I told her I was anxious and she made me feel at ease. It was the first time I've ever had a filling done on a large cracked tooth and felt ZERO pain afterwards.. I couldn't even tell I had work done on it. She was very up front with pricing and didn't try to push any extra procedures on me. She thoroughly explained everything she was doing as it was happening. She also didn't make me feel bad at all for waiting a year to get work done on my teeth. I've gone in a handful of times now and have recommended her to family and friends. Dr. Rana is a bit on the aggressive side of dental care. I will give her the benefit of the doubt that she is trying to ensure that her patients get the best care, but an aggressive approach will invariably be more expensive. She recommended treatment that I wish I had spent a little bit more time researching before agreeing to proceed; my research suggested that this treatment was not really necessary in my case, and it cost me several hundred dollars in out of pocket expenses. I certainly could have chosen not to go with her recommendations, but I feel that she made a few recommendations that were not really necessary and I would prefer to work with someone who will give more balanced recommendations. read more

Dr. Rana is the nicest and friendliest Dentist I have ever had and she definitely does what she can to fix you up right! I got some good advice on how to care for my teeth in between cleanings and did I mention that she has a TV in the room with Netflix movies ready for you to watch during your cleaning. This alone would make my day but Dr. Rana really does put her patients wellbeing first. She actually told me that she likes to err on the conservative side before filling cavities, unlike many Dentists who strive for more to boost the bill. This made me feel at ease along with the massaging chair you get to lay in -- I felt like I was at a resort more than a dental office.
