I didn't really know what to expect, but I did know the little shop that was attached was closed. As soon as I stepped in, it felt very homey, like walking into your Nana house on Sunday for family dinner. I was instantly greeted, and I apologize to the cashier because I had no idea what I want to order because I had never been here. She said, take your time with the biggest smile and the cutest cheetah print overalls. I ended up asking for the veggie sandwich, which seems to be new on the menu and I added bacon to it. I got it on jalapeño sourdough. I got a bag of chips for the side and a oatmeal cream pie. While I'll wait for my food in what seems like one of the coziest moments I've had in a long time. I looked at the things along the wall, and I bought some candles, and sat down to watch the atmosphere of the customers and employees. Yes, it took some time to get food. But realistically if you are soaking in the environment, it's a family reunion. Waiting for Nana to say it's time to eat. I really enjoy that. You can pretty much see how everything is cooked and there's plenty of seating within the building. However, it does get packed real quick. I ended up loving the atmosphere so much. I went back a second time the next day and I got a salad and of course, and oatmeal cream pie. I didn't really know what to get and ask the cashier for some help and she told me to get the Italian salad. I can't say it was the biggest fan. When I ate it. I think I put a little too much dressing, but it was so big for such a good price and you could tell it was stuffed with love. And as far as the oatmeal cream pie. I only wish I would've gotten two. I also got the blueberry latte, which was also recommended. And although I like My, coffee a little bit stronger, I really enjoyed the fresh taste like eating a blueberry muffin. The second day I went back. There was such a sweet lady over the retail shop in the back, and she was so open when it came to me buying the earrings at the shop. I live about 45 minutes away from this restaurant. And I will definitely say it's worth driving to just for the atmosphere and love this building holds and I will absolutely be back.

I was not expecting these two with biscuits and 2 over easy eggs to blend well but they really do. The service was very prompt and polite. All orders are cooked to order. This is not a fast food place and they are very up front with that. As for the price, I feel it was cheap. I've spent more for less at the Waffle House.

The bacon was crunchy, just like we like it, and the fried eggs were "really and truly," over medium. Our server was lovely and clearly knows the locals who were there. This review would have been five stars, except, if I am going to have a diner breakfast, I want a cold coke to wash it down with and the machine was out temporarily. The chicken was a had an odd mushy/spongy texture -- a couple of tenders unceremoniously dropped on the plate and nothing like in any of the marketing photos -- and the gravy was not very flavorful at all. Someone else in my party got the chicken and waffles -- their chicken was better than mine, but still completely unimpressive. I also have to say, unfortunately, that the staff is not on their game. We had communication problems with the person taking our order, and the self-bussing area was overflowing with dirty forks and plates. This is a corporate slop establishment, and Greenville has at least a dozen breakfast spots, especially locally-owned ones, that are miles better than this. I regret not looking a bit harder for a better local spot.
