Nate loves birds, so we stopped in while in the area just browsing the shops. Wren and Sparrow is pretty packed for a smaller shop - they had lots of great items for any bird enthusiast, including gifts, puzzles, lots of bird food, plenty of feeders, including lots that were made of recycled plastic, which I loved, and more. I liked the informational signs that said which birds like which feed. Nate ended up getting a hummingbird feeder ring, kind of as a joke, but also I know he really wishes a hummingbird would land on his hand! The employees working were really helpful - the one who rang up this purchase gave some tips on getting them to land, like wearing lots of red and putting on sunglasses so the hummingbirds can't see your eyes moving, which may deter them! The last thing I noticed is that they had a soundtrack of birdsongs playing throughout the store, which I really liked. Our local bird store is always silent, which I think is so weird!

When it came time to pick new frames and decide on sunglasses, Andrew was very patient and helpful. I took a lot of time with the sunglasses, and had many questions about the lenses available with both my glasses and sunglasses. As a bonus both my glasses and sunglasses arrived quicker than I expected. I was very pleased with the experience overall.

They charge a fee for using a credit card and essentially have no return policy for any prescription frames, only a $50 "restyling fee" for exchanging them. I didn't see any signs indicating this information, nor were these policies clearly listed on their website, so I didn't find any of this out until we reached checkout. At least for the frames we selected, there was no warranty. (If you want, you can pay extra and get a warranty for the lenses) When the glasses came in, the prescription itself seemed fine, but the person adjusting the frames did a poor job. (Frames were slightly skewed to one side, but he said to give it a few days to make sure it wasn't an adjustment period problem.) However, the next time my daughter put them on, she noticed that her peripheral vision was blurry. We asked our regular doctor about it after getting a firmer adjustment, and their conclusion was that it was perhaps a difference in frame shape/material quality causing the issue. (As the prescription itself was correct) The glasses are obviously no good for driving, but because the return policy is so lacking, we feel that there isn't much we can do besides keep them. This shop does have very convenient hours and fast service, and since we were only shopping for frames, I cannot speak to the quality of their in-house doctors.

Our appointment was at 4:15 and we were pulled back at 4:20 for our first rounds of testing/questions before we saw the doctor. The staff was polite and attentive. We returned to the lobby and continued to look at frames. I have a teenager, so I was grateful for the extra looking time. The only thing that concerned me was that it was probably around 445pm at this point (they close at 6) and they had a lobby full of people waiting to purchase/ adjust glasses. The doctor pulled us back relatively quickly after our first go around of testing, and then did the actual exam. She had a wonderful bedside manner and was thorough. We returned to the lobby while an older woman with grey hair handled the massive crowds out front. Now closer to 515/530 I was getting even more nervous about my child's glasses not being ordered, and us having to come back. When the older woman asked for a staff member to assist her , the other staff (very short dark hair, medium built woman with glasses) was being disrespectful and talking in a negative manner about helping in the back (the corner where they keep supplies) we heard her because we were by the desk waiting. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. The second staff member came out - though it seemed unwillingly to assist, and the older associate helped us. She was also kind and thorough. We were told that the glasses would be available the week of the 16th. We got the glasses picked up on the 14th, and they fit wonderfully. The desk staff was polite and made sure that her glasses were adjusted accordingly. $199 for the frames, $140 for the exam. We got the anti blue light and the warranty, about $390 after taxes. Not bad for Michael Kors frames and no vision benefits. Thank you M.E.D- we appreciate you.

They quoted us a two week repair time but the time frame ended up being only a week. I can't express how much care and effort they took into repairing the ring we had. (Our price was even unbelievably affordable for the amount of work we needed done.) We cannot thank you enough for all of your time and effort into giving us an amazing experience. I reached out afterward to flag the difference and never got a response. For the price and the amount of care and advance planning I put into this, I expected either the arrangement I ordered or at least some acknowledgment when it wasn't right. Once I was finally called back, I was told I needed an updated glasses prescription as well--and, unsurprisingly, was informed I needed new glasses that would cost around $500 after insurance. When I explained that I wasn't interested in purchasing glasses and was only there for contacts, the staff member helping me was rude and dismissive. I also found out the doctor had recommended a different brand of contact lenses that was significantly more expensive than the brand I currently wear. After I asked to switch back, the manager said she needed the doctor to approve the change, which took another 20 minutes. To make matters worse, even though the trial lenses were the exact same brand I already wear, I was told I had to return for another fitting. Then, the trial contacts weren't delivered in time for the appointment they scheduled, and when I tried to reschedule, they couldn't fit me in the next day--only a week later. Between the long wait, the pressure to buy expensive glasses, the unnecessary delays, and the poor customer service, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this office.

I had a great first exam which featured higher tech solutions than I have seen previously. One of these tests costs an extra fee, but they explained what the benefits of the test are and were clear on what the fee would be. After the exam I browsed their wide selection of frames but ultimately decided against having my prescription filled with them due to pricing concerns. They gave me a printed quote so I could shop around which was helpful. I'll go back next year for my exam.

And they did not touch one single thing - they did not tighten up one single thing. They only installed the bike chain. When I dropped the bike off, the service was outstanding. When I picked the bike up the person at the desk (who I paid) was outright hostile towards me. announced to everyone in the store that it was just a cheap electric bike after I asked them why nothing was tightened up. Repairs: I was really nervous I was going to have to pay a lot but they only did the work that needed to be done and explained everything, why the parts needed to be replaced, etc. The cost ended up being lower than they quoted me which was even better!! Best Part: SAME DAY REPAIR!!!! They had all the parts I needed and were done within an hour!!! They even have a rewards program!!!

I bought a desk online on Thursday at 11:23 and went to pick it up today, Saturday. When we went in…read moreto pick it up, the woman at the counter first said something to effect of they didn't sell the piece I was talking about. I showed them the email receipt I had and she told me that there was no receipt at the counter documenting the sale. It was at this moment that I had assumed they sold it to someone else, but nonetheless she looked up my name and was able to find the receipt on their system. We drove around to the back to pick it up and after about 10 minutes of someone looking, he returned with a supervisor. I showed them a picture of the piece and they went back to looking for it. Then, they returned a few minutes later with someone else. They did not have the desk and I had to go back into the front to get them to refund the purchase. The supervisor met me there with the receipt and was telling the cashier that the desk was sold to someone else yesterday, a full 24 hours after I bought it online. Of course they refunded me, but it was just frustrating that over 24 hours later it was sold to someone else. I would not consider purchasing anything online again unless you want to call the store immediately and have them verify that they put the sold sticker on it, as that clearly didn't happen. I wish they had a better online system that prevented this from happening with the few pieces that are listed online.
