Every time we visited the store , Joan was friendly , professional and accommodating. Joan thoroughly knows the business of insurance, and assisting a client about their specific needs. Upon our last visit we met a young man name Fareed. My significant other needed an eyeglass case. A few cases didn't fit my S.O. eyewear. Most sale representatives would have given up. I appreciate the gesture like that. We paid the remaining balance with cash, and then went on our merry way. We also was advised that if we had a problem, we can always stop in and they can adjust or fix if needed, which again i appreciate. Luckily so far no problems! Oh and just a side note- got a call on Saturday 11/30 about making sure that i got the text that my eyeglasses were ready, and while that is a good gesture, I had planned to come on Wednesday December 4th to pick them up. I also have a 30 minute ride to and from the place. Anyways, i like my new eyeglasses, and appreciate sterling opticial, and recommend this!

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses from them back in the beginning of August. I had no problem getting a person to talk to me on the phone about ordering my glasses. I spent $400 on these glasses. I was told they would take a week to ship, it took a month, and only then did it ship because I called to remind them. Upon recieving the glasses, I realized the lenses are so lightly tinted, they can barely be considered sunglasses. I called to see if there was anything they could do about that, perhaps replace the lenses. It took a few emails and phone calls to reach someone. I was told they couldn't replace them since prescriptions are custom. I informed them that their return policy states nothing about not being able to return custom jobs, in fact, it states that you CAN return contact lenses, which are by their very nature, custom. The person told me they would check with the optometrist to see if it could be done, and I would get a call back shortly. That was approximately 40 days ago. I have since called and left numerous voicemails and emails, explaining that someone was supposed to be checking and getting back to me about replacing the lenses, I love the glasses, but the lenses are not up to sunglass lense standards, I would just like a yes or no whether this can be done. I got an email back a few weeks ago giving me a return authorization number, not addressing my question. You may wonder why I don't simply just return the glasses and shop somewhere else. Well, because of the customer service at this place, I'm honestly afraid to send these glasses back, for fear that I will not only lose the glasses, but then they may not give me my refund, and I wont be able to get in touch with anyone at this business to check on the status. They have a 14 day return policy, but because it was so difficult to get any response from them at all, the required return authorization number was not given to me until welllllll after the 14 days have past. I'm afraid they will deny my return, and I"ll be out the glasses AND the $400, and not be able to speak to a live person to resolve the matter. I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which has not received any type of response from this business. The glasses at this company are for a great price, but if you have any type of issue whatsoever, don't expect to get it resolved.

Dr. Samaroo spent a lot of time on my exam, discussed my options, and gave me a great prescription. I wear multifocal lenses for both distance and reading so the fitting can be tricky. My lenses arrived in 2 days. The billing was fair and transparent. They showed me the itemized bill with all computations and insurance deductions so I knew exactly what I was paying for. The office staff was polite and efficient. I highly recommend them and look forward to returning for my exam next year.

Glasses grabbed out of my hand told to give receptionist my name and they will call when done. Basically dismissed by the employee. I asked if they needed to measure where glasses sit for best results was told "no they are just glasses and there is NO REFUND". So no money back for not getting the glasses prescribed by their Doctor Aka progressive lenses. My insurance company has been falsely billed, I have been falsely billed because this business has incompetent employees. Stay away, their customer service is nonexistent and they make you feel inconsequential and have zero customer service skills.

They have very fashionable frames to choose from at the front of the optical. I've gotten many nice glasses for myself and my family . She had brought her dog to the store and was holding it while she helped other customers who clearly were undecided about what they wanted and were playing with her dog. I felt completely ignored as I stood there waiting and she didn't even acknowledge me that she would be helping me next. When the glasses were ready almost 2 weeks later, I had to wait again to pick them up even though there were no other customers in the store. The same woman was more interested in her texting than to help me.
