I was seen by Dr. Steven Lee instead. The visit was great.. Absolutely didn't have to wait a long time. It's been awhile since I last checked out my eyes. Dr. Lee took his time assessing the concerns and issues I had. It was very easy to talk to Dr.Lee . He was patient, I did not feel rushed at all. Compare to all the visits I have had with other locations, all the doctors would rush and I would be done being seen by a doctor within 10 mins while the wait with appointments would take 30 minutes. I highly recommend coming here, time is money. The full appointment took 50 minutes with less than 1 minute wait to be pre-test screening and assessed by a doctor.

A few days later I brought my 5 y/o daughter in for an exam and my daughter was anxious, scared and uncooperative. Dr. Luo and her staff were extremely patient with her and did everything they could to make her comfortable. I appreciate their empathy and compassion. Also, the front desk staff was super helpful and I've even followed up with questions via email and Carley has been super responsive and helpful. An all around excellent experience.

The eye doctor, exam technician, and sales associate were all kind and professional during my visit. This review is not about them. This review is about what happened after I left and how my purchase was handled after I paid nearly $1,000 in full. I purchased prescription Prada eyeglasses and Ray-Ban sunglasses, and my total came out to over $950. For a purchase this expensive, I expected much better service and communication. I was told my glasses would be ready within two weeks, but the sales associate mentioned they usually arrive sooner, often within one week. This sounded perfect because I had a trip coming up in 12 days which was within the 7-14 days that was said. On day 10, I called to ask if my glasses were ready. I was told they had arrived at the lab and were waiting to be delivered to the store. On day 11, I was busy and unable to call myself, so my husband contacted the store for an update. He was told my glasses were ready for pickup, so he drove to the store. However, when he arrived, they only gave him my Prada glasses. My Ray-Ban sunglasses were missing, even though I had already paid for both pairs in full. The associate then explained that my sunglasses were somehow never properly ordered in the system and were considered "orphaned" glasses. That is completely unacceptable. How does a fully paid order only get half processed? I paid hundreds of dollars for these glasses, and somehow nobody noticed the mistake until WE called asking about the order ourselves. What made this even more frustrating was realizing that if we had never called, nobody would have informed us that my Prada glasses were delivered. Even after our calls, none of the associates noticed only one pair was delivered. We were the ones constantly checking on the status of my order instead of LensCrafters keeping us updated. It honestly felt like we were doing their job for them. When I asked why customers are not contacted right away when their glasses arrive, I was told the store waits 1-2 days before calling customers because they receive too many deliveries at once. I could not believe that answer. How is that acceptable? People rely on their glasses every single day. Some customers may be using broken glasses, taping old pairs together, or struggling to see while waiting for orders they already paid for. Meanwhile, LensCrafters lets completed orders sit there for days before even notifying customers. The explanation only made the situation worse. If the store is receiving that many orders, then customer communication should be a priority. Instead of focusing only on new sales, there should also be care and attention given to customers who already spent hundreds of dollars and are waiting for products they already paid for. By this point, I had completely lost confidence in this location. Instead of simply reordering my missing sunglasses and asking me to wait another 1-2 weeks because of THEIR mistake, I requested a refund instead. What upset me most was that no real effort was made to fix the situation or make up for the inconvenience. The only solution offered was to reorder the sunglasses (which should have already been done correctly in the first place). That is not compensation or customer service. That is just correcting a mistake that never should have happened. At the end of this experience, I felt extremely disappointed and disrespected as a customer. Spending almost $1,000 should come with better communication, better organization, and better care for customers. I would recommend this location only for the eye exam itself, because the medical staff was wonderful. But I strongly advise against purchasing glasses from this LensCrafters location.

I admit I came to Helen…read morea bit late in the game so there was a tight deadline getting my dress and the fitting but Helen made it happen. You call Helen to make an appointment. Then there you can browse her selection of designs, which she designs herself. If you give her enough time you can pick the fabric. Otherwise you'll have to settle for the fabrics that are more readily available. She'll take your measurements and then you set an appointment to try on your gown. Make sure to bring the shoes you plan to wear on your special occasion so she gets the length right. Then on your second trip, make sure you have your receipt number handy. Maybe take a picture of it as soon as she gives it to you on your first visit. Then she may make additional adjustments or not. Helen also has a lot of dresses available for rental as well. This is a very homey, small business shop so the fitting room is basically a big closet in the back. She is really nice, kinda reminds me of many friends' moms. She speaks limited English so if you have a particular vision and don't speak Mandarin, I'd bring a friend to help translate. My dress came out so well fitting and I got a lot of compliments on it. Hope to find another occasion to wear it again (and hope I can still fit it lol). It was around $300, not too bad! There is street parking in front and residential parking around.

I was looking around for a QiPao to wear to…read moremy graduation and stumbled upon Brocade Apparel after multiple failed attempts of finding a well fitting, generic QiPao in Chinatown. I am very glad that I decided to come to Brocade to see Helen. I did not have an appointment, but Helen took me in graciously. Which she did not have to since she does state on her website that appointment are REQUIRED. I clearly did not read it carefully enough at the time. I told her where some of my insecurities were and she explained that QiPaos look best on people who have some extra meat and fluff to them and she was able to point on what type of designs would help accentuate my natural curves. She rushed my order a bit as I did not know that QiPaos that are custom takes a minimum of 3-4 months to make. I had the basic QiPao design and Helen added the sleeves for me although there is normally an extra charge to add sleeves to QiPaos. Please DO NOT throw away your receipt since you have to text that to her the day before the fitting so she can track your dress. I had a initial fitting in mid November and I received my dress about 3 weeks after since I had gained some weight and the dress needed to be altered to go up a size. In the end it all worked out and I had my beautiful, pure silk QiPao just in time for my photoshoot. Everyone who saw me in the QiPao could not stop complimenting me on the day of my photoshoot and the day of my graduation. I had never felt more confident in clothing than putting on the QiPao. I am so grateful for this experience with Helen in designing a custom QiPao. Also, expect that basic QiPaos are a minimum of $500 and up. If you want embroidery, I was told that it will be a minimum of about $1,000+. Prices are due to change based on the economy of course. Helen also informed me that she can design other clothing besides QiPaos and I had even noticed some wedding dresses in her changing room. I will definitely go back to Helen when I get married to design another dress. She also informed me her busy season tends to be from Jan/Feb until end of August as that is when Lunar New Year and Wedding Season is, so expect a longer turn-around time during that period.

Fast foward to another two weeks, he has to call because they had yet to call him, TURNS OUT THEY COMPLETELY FORGOT TO MAKE THE ORDER FOR HIM. Finally we had enough and just cancelled the order, he decided to go to another optometrist with the prescription Sears gave him. BUT THIS PRESCRIPTION WAS INCORRECT. The optometrist finally caught the mistake after twice sending back the lenses they ordered. THANK YOU DOCTOR AT SEARS, HE'S NOW LOST ALMOST $1000 WITH THOSE LENSES THAT DON'T EVEN FIT THANKS TO YOUR INCOMPETENCE. We are now looking into accountability because what you did was despicable.
