If there was an option to rate that and give stars I would give zero. I needed the corporate number and the man on the line kept saying "we don't have this we don't have that" and I said oh okay can you ask a supervisor or manager if there's another phone number I can call? He proceeded to place me on hold after a long pause without telling me then left me on hold while pressing buttons on the line. When he came back he kept mumbling "I'm going to connect you now" except he kept mumbling so much I kept asking I'm sorry what? And it was 100% mumbling because he clearly said "we don't have that" before. I then said oh you're going to connect me? Okay thank you and he hung up on me. Contacts fittings and samples to try on, to make sure you feel comfortable wearing them. Doctors and staff always patiently and cordial explaining to you from what's suitable to your eyes, choices, up to what Insurance Coverage you have, promotion coupon is sometimes applied on the quote, etc etc. Just that they no longer give out free eyes drops or contacts solution, and no bags to carry our prescriptions lol The place is clean and lots of frames to choose for your prescription glasses. You place order in the store and it will be shipped to your home. Very convenient!

I was told I needed a new eye exam since my old one had just expired the month prior and would need to make an appointment. I figured they would have to make me come back another day but once again, they surprised me with being able to schedule me the same day, just a few hours later. Conveniently, they're located inside the Westfield mall so I was able to go do some shopping and grab lunch before my appointment. Once back, the eye exam and picking out my new glasses took a little less than an hour. Pricing is pretty much your average amount and it took about two weeks for my glasses to be ready.

Sure, in my case the shoes were purchased about four years ago, but they remained brand new, unused, and still in the original box. The process started with the store asking for my phone number so they could locate the purchase history. Without an account tied to a phone number, there was little they could do. Scanning the barcode on the shoe box wasn't enough. Even the Nordstrom Rack price tag wasn't enough. Eventually, they were able to look up the purchase and determine exactly how long ago the shoes had been bought. That's when I was told the purchase was approximately four years old and therefore could not be returned. I understood that a refund might be outside their policy, so I asked if store credit would be possible instead. The employee checked with the manager, but the answer came back as a firm no. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that these were classic Vans shoes--an item that has remained popular for years. In fact, some classic styles are worth as much as, or even more than, when they were originally purchased. From a customer's perspective, the shoes were still brand new, in their original packaging, and easily resellable. By comparison, other discount retailers such as Ross often seem more focused on the condition of the item than the exact age of the purchase. Whether or not that is their official policy, the experience feels less restrictive from a customer's point of view. In the end, it wasn't just about the shoes or the money. It was about flexibility and customer service. After locating the purchase, verifying the item, confirming it was new, and seeing that it still had its original tags and packaging, not even receiving store credit felt disappointing. What could have been a simple customer-service gesture instead became an experience that left me feeling let down--and perhaps left Nordstrom Rack losing a customer as well.

I called ahead of time and they easily scheduled my appointment for the next day. They kindly provided a contact lens case for me to use when I took off my contacts before my eye exam. Dr. Nguyen was quick and efficient with my eye exam and kindly answered my questions about LASIK since he's been recommending me to get it done while I'm still young. The staff was super friendly and patient when I was deciding on which pair of glasses frame I wanted. It's always so hard for me to choose a suitable frame, so I took a while, but they never rushed me. They have a wide variety of frames to choose from and plenty of mirrors to use while trying on the frames. I was also notified the next day that my glasses were ready for pick up already! That's super fast! My insurance covered the glasses, so I just had to pay for the contact lens exam which was $115 which is reasonable.
