Not only was the young lady Gigi that helped me able to find the name of the person who purchased the glasses for me, she gave me a discount on my Oakleys that helped lower the difference in the pair of glasses. She was very patient & helpful & even waited for us to call & get the email address of the person who gave me the glasses so she could make the exchange possible. I needed the corporate number and the man on the line kept saying "we don't have this we don't have that" and I said oh okay can you ask a supervisor or manager if there's another phone number I can call? He proceeded to place me on hold after a long pause without telling me then left me on hold while pressing buttons on the line. When he came back he kept mumbling "I'm going to connect you now" except he kept mumbling so much I kept asking I'm sorry what? And it was 100% mumbling because he clearly said "we don't have that" before. I then said oh you're going to connect me? Okay thank you and he hung up on me. Different ladies and both were knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining eye health. I will say the front desk staff seem a bit overwhelmed and not as skilled on the operations. Then all was redeemed when I worked with Genesis on frame selection. She was so patient and gave me honest feedback on the styles. I'm pretty sure I tried on at least 20 frames and she was so great throughout. Luckily I landed on 3 different frames so it wasn't all for nothing. Hope you get to work with Genesis on frames.

By chance, I found Foothill Optical Service online, and I must say I was truly impressed. The gentleman who helped me was extremely kind, professional, and precise. He replaced the lenses in the shortest time, cleaned and adjusted the frame perfectly to fit my face--even though it wasn't really his responsibility. When I insisted on paying him, he humbly said he hadn't done anything special and that this was a service he proudly provides for his community. I cannot thank him enough for helping me right before the long holiday. Thanks to his support, I was able to spend the weekend focusing on my research and academic work without any worries.
